Katolincat There's so many things I wish were more streamlined in tags. I mean, I have all the cutter items but I still made sure to get the individual cutters in that one bundle so that I can look them up with 'singlecutter' because the generic 'cutter' tag is uselessly bloated. As far as my most used searches, I do like the fact that color schemes and colors are getting more specific searches, so if I'm working within a color set I'll use color scheme names a lot. Then, I use 'nose', 'ears', 'tattoo', 'skin' pretty frequently when building up faces and/or making weird creatures. I know I probably use more items with no tags, but the one that sticks in my mind is the Box of Totally Innocent Objects. Gah, it's so hard to remember what the icon is for that item and it's just a pain to find. Seeing your avi you must REALLY have to search for things that work!! The cutters are super bloated. I wish there was a tag for the actual cutter and the tag for the items that work with it. Colors and schemes do seem to be the most reliable of the unreliable things. Oh geez, I always forget that item!

Like I know it -should- be tagged as something and then its not Not entirely on topic, but more than anything I wish I could search tags in dress up and have a way to filter out items that are unlisted there. Never fails, I'm getting together something new and half the items I like are unlisted stressed It would also be nice if you could search a tag and the icon be relevant to the search, rather than the default icon I can dream lol Agreed! And that happens waaay too often. Wow that would be so cool biggrin Like the pose that is relevant shows up as the thumbnail? Because that would be amazing. Yep! Like you’d search “leg mod” and the icon would show the leg mod even on multi pose items It would make it so much easier That would be pretty fantastic 4laugh

I am all for having a true black or truebalck tag, that would be sweet. I also want splits of compound-name tags (I'm remembering a particular incident from last week) By compound names, I mean names where the words could have a space, but don't. (Fakey Example: SpaceFries*, but you have to search the whole name SpaceFries, because neither 'Space' nor 'Fries' will bring up the item. *SpaceFries is not an actual item. Don't go looking)
Also, I don't know how this would ever get fixed, but lots of times I'll search for "ivory sleeves" or "offblack legs" qnd I'll get a whole lot of items that have ivory and sleeves and offblack and legs, but not necessarily ivory sleeves or offblack legs. xp
As for untagged items, none come to mind that really don't have any, but there are quite a few around that have no tags or minimal tags in the dress up/inventory system, but better tags in the marketplace system (I don't understand it, it's just what is.) One item that I have that is that way is Nartian star.
If I have any others, they're probably collecting dust in my inventory, because I can't find them!

I noticed that a TON with (s), for example "sea dream" "sea dreams" "seadream(s)" its so frustrating. Yessss I think I might have mentioned that! Omg I find that really hard to work with. Same same, I cant fathom how many items we don't all use because the tags are so poor. (And its impossible to remember everything about items.)

Also, yes to all you said, but it's hard to suggest solutions to any of it, because I don't really know how Gaia's database is built. Multi pose items make a solution really difficult too, because it's not like you could just tell the tag search "Okay, just look for this in hair items," because there's also hair in the tops, bottoms, accessories, and hand-helds. I mean, I love having the multi pose items, but . . . yeah

But I just wanted a chat about it to see what other's ideas and struggles are whee Yesss that probably makes it so complicated. I really wish there was a way to search the pose names because a lot of times the pose names are what I want but they are not present in the tags. Struggles are real.

It's a long shot for it to ever get made, since mini golden tickets are just about impossible to get/make, right now. I must say, I miss the CrossStitch contests. Those were always so fun, even if the items never went with anything. Here's something to take it back to tags--it appears there are a couple tags for "Cross" and "stitch" (though not together), but they only bring up some of the paw items from that store. Which isn't too bad, since they're always available from the store, but if the contests ever got going again, it would be good to have those tags applied to every item in the store (sometimes searching the marketplace is the only way I find formulas in the Bifrost)

First off I'd like more color tags to be applied to items that don't have them. I'd also love being able to filter by pose type, so if I wanted a colored hairstyle I'd only get results for hair.
A dream come true would be a visual search that enabled you to have a chart of colors and you click your desired shade and BOOM all the items that have it show up. Not gonna happen but I can dream...

The tags I search most are color tags, either a specific color scheme or the seperate colors in it for different outfits.
I'd love for them to add more specific tags for backgrounds gonk it's so hard sometimes to find the perfect background or...set dressing? idk what to call it - those items that aren't full backgrounds but are just like little decorations that go on the background/foreground of the avi's set.
Anyway, trying to find good backgrounds/decorations with specific things, like chairs or trees or wtv, is such a pain sometimes.
