I was almost sure this style is from Love Live, as it looks a lot like this character's hairstyle: https://llsif.fandom.com/wiki/Honoka_Kosaka But I might stand corrected if it's not the case.
i think this might be a reference to vanguard bandits?

I didn't see this on the guide, but Tired Punk Skunk (and its recolors) is a reference to Piers from Pokemon Sword and Shield. Other new ones consist of Hidden Nature which is a reference to Marnie from Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Cubhai is also from User ImagePoco from Poco's Udon World a huge giveaway from the flavortext sweatdrop Unbearable Punishments from Danganronpa series Monokuma

Usagime + SC Agape scissors + M's Sketchbook clips + Princess Less Than Three gives you Shoto's hair from My Hero Academia (and its a Dekuguu item so I feel like it was intentional like Shy Boi)
The only one I can think of is Obsessive Affection that has Sayaka's hair, face, and a few items with pink blood. I know there are some more out there but I just don't remember the names of the items.
I found this post in the avatar talk threads. You found it, so you get the credit! thank you!
High Bounty Rookie, is a reference to the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger's Pirate Hat, Monkey D. Luffy's Eyes and Roronoa Zoro's Three Sword Stance/Pose.
OMG! You did all the poses too!!! I luv you! You're awesome!!!

Cutie Heroine It's of Cutey Honey, a manga and anime created by Go Nagai. She is sort of a magical girl? Sort of a robot? Generally people lump her in with magical girls. smile
And also just found a Walter White cosplay item hidden in my stash just now from Breaking Bad. (Including his tightie Walter Whities!) Old Man Thug I was using it for the beaker for a mad science themed avatar and forgot it's a whole reference!
The Accursed Ring (Any) This is a Lord of the Rings item! You can see the ring on a chain, the lembas bread, the Elvish cloaks, and the shattered sword of Aragorn. Hollywood Vixen Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit! Wolf of South Town is a Fatal Fury reference to Terry Bogard. I didn't see it listed. smile
i also found a couple of interesting leads: the parody tag and this list of sponsored items. i don't recognize a lot of the sources, so i figure someone more familiar with the works should comb through them.
Thank you for this! BTW did anyone already say Shadow Thief set for Persona? And timehole professor/traveler for doctor who?

To add to your Neon Genesis Evangelion list: Arrogant Unit + recolors. All of them except Aloof Unit are based off of Asuka; Aloof Unit is based off of Kaworu. These items reference Rebuild of Evangelion series, specifically Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, where the cat-ear helmet and tracksuit jacket make their first appearance.
There was also a wig that looked a lot like Arashi's, but I can't find it in my inventory, so I'm assuming it's attached to an item.
Tokyo Babylon Not so many really specific items here, but Cherry Blossom, Summer Lookbook, and Curse of the Wizard work nicely for Subaru. --- Also, for Kingdom Hearts, the Hero King's Crown.
And, last but not the least, a series of recolored items, referring to the character: Jotaro Kujo (from JJBA).. along with one of the series's infamous Battle Cries, mentioned in the item's description:
Mahou Men is from Fairy Tail Light Student Council Princess Style is from Love Live Starish is NOT from Magi, but from Uta no Prince-sama. You can confirm it from the description 100000% LOVE!!, because ending 1 is named Maji Love 1000%
Dwarlin
Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba Festival Flairs But the beaded bang could be to the spider demons' hair.

I get it. "First Person Shooter" x "First World Problems." ETA: And the New Kid is from Danganronpa. Look closely at the TV screen.
◜Humans need fantasy to be human◝ I am having a hard time linking the images to links, but here are few items- Fate/Zero War Game (multiple characters) Conqueror of World (Iskander/Rider)
Magi Seas Conquer (Sinbad) ◟It's not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren't doing it.◞
