Not sure if that means the weapon is okay or not? I can change it if need be. I'm flexible on the weapon. Very flexible. :]

He's a tank. He doesn't want to dodge things, he'd be using it to jump in the way of things! Then again he would be dodging things later in fights if he deals damage so I understand! Let me make some edits to the semblance and see if you like it then! Let me know! I halved his percent to 50% at all lower levels, but then at level 3 made it where its back to where it was before. I also made the increase in perception and reflexes to be "This only works for 10 posts total during any given fight." Making it more limited. That way he can't continually have increased perception and reflexes for the whole fight among other changes. Let me know!

This basically nerfs him by half at all levels before 3.

Sorry that I wasn't clear, I mean that the weapon isn't really plausible. I know that you mentioned in the judging chat that it's wire and not rope, The issue with wire is that it's deadly. As a fisher-woman, I can tell you that s**t can cut off fingers, and that's just from having your hand in the wrong place. Meaning the melee form would be deadly, if you used it as a melee weapon. (Which you can surprisingly do well with a grappling hook, with wire.
tldr; The wire makes the weapon work, but then it brings a whole new problem, that needs to be addressed. aka, the weapon weakness doesn't work. It would be weaker still because of all the moving parts that it needs to work.

I thank you for making half of the changes, but I need to know how long he can tank, before his Aura fails. This would be on top of doing damaging moves. ^.^; For example, if someone went full frontal, realized that this has happened, and decided to move into an observation position/stealth, and then they throw a basketball.

Weapon simplified (no grappling hook, just dust slot, also no straightening to speak, etc) and tanking nerfed to a total of ten tanking posts before it deactivates on its own.

Everything looks good now, the only reason I'm not slapping an approval on here is for two reasons. Does your character have a scroll? If they do, then I would put it under items. I also wanted to give you the opportunity to add the grappling hook as a separate item if you wanted to.

Sounds good! Thanks! I added both! A simple grappling hook makes sense.

╫ H I S T O R Y ╫

BACKGROUND ▬ Fang has had a wild and adventurous life full of both beauty and regret. It ultimately all starts with his mother getting exiled from a mysterious place not known to the rest of the world. He always wanted to return to this place, but had only fragments of memories. Very little was known about it except that it is a paradise of untold ingenuity and hope. A paradise lost to him.

When Fang was but nine years old he was playing in the forest. His mother's worried call echoed across the small meadow in a panic, but before he could even stand to go to her he felt his weight lifted from the ground. It was only a matter of seconds as he saw the gaping mouth of a manticore with is razor sharp teeth engulf him. Swallowed hole he slid into its stomach to be devoured but at that moment his semblance activated preventing his death. He lived in the dark abyss that was the belly of the best for a several weeks. Eating the morsels of flesh that the creature of grimm consumed. Unaware of what he was putting in his mouth he continued on. One day he was ripping chunks of meat from some figure when he stumbled upon a staff. Like that of a shepherd. He fell back in horror. Realizing that he had been ravaging the poor shepherd's body for sustenance. He took up the staff in desperation and started to use it to scale towards the throat of the beast. It took all the strength he could muster to fight against the beast's attempted to keep him down. The staff had a unique strength though and allowed him to keep himself from being crushed by the internal muscles. Once he made his way up to the mouth he took the staff and with all his might thrusted it through the creature's nasal cavity up into its brain. Killing it instantly. The light was blinding. He found himself deep in the wilderness of some unknown land. Fortunately, his mother had taught him to forage and the plants, albeit different, had enough in common for him to survive in the wild. He took his staff and forged his way onward. This was the beginning of his adventures, which would ultimately turn him into a man fraught with rage and guilt.

Fang spent several years as a nomad. Traveling the wild with nothing but grimm to keep him company. They didn't make good company as they usually attacked him on sight, but after they discovered they couldn't kill him they would eventually give up and ignore him. Grimm in his territory learned to ignore him and so his fondness of these strange creatures grew. They were the closest thing to company he ever got. He never could get himself to rejoin society. At least, nothing like before. He often found himself in fight clubs getting beaten to a pulp to get coin. This only grew his hatred for all man and faunus alike. In the end he became nothing but a lowly thief. He learned to hot-wire vehicles, unlock both simple and complex lock mechanisms, and all sorts of skills that helped him find his next meal, or something he could sell to buy it. The more he stole, the more society reviled him and the more his rage grew.

        [Garret Reveley]

When Fang was around 13 years old he spotted a group of travelers. They looked different from the people in this area and proved it with their combat powers. They carried a lot of spears. There was a boy, a few years older then himself. He heard the larger man call him 'Garret.' Fang would grab his cloak where his heart was. A pang of sadness. He wished he had family. Of some kind. Any kind. All he had were grimm, and his own self-loathing memories to keep him company. That night he would sneak into their camp and attempt to snatch a bag of rations next to the boy named Garret. A sort of revenge for having life better then him ordeal. Before he could escape he would feel his hand get smashed by the butt of a spear with lightning speed. It came from out of nowhere. He whimpered as he dropped the bag and made his way towards the forest, but the man he saw before materialized from the shadows and blocked him. He tried to escape, but instead the man beat him back. He was forced to stay in their camp, but it wasn't as he expected. He was treated with kindness for the first time. The man fed him, clothed him, and started to train him with a spear. His motives unclear, but having some sort of friendliness was nothing he had ever experienced before. It was addictive. Something he needed all his life. A day turned into a week, a week turned into months. He 'befriended' the boy Garret for the time and it was nice. Nice to feel like he was a part of something. His only issue was how they ruthlessly murdered any and all grimm they came into contact with. Fang didn't like this as grimm were not so bad after you got used to them. Or at least that was his subjective experience. Only manticores were truly despicable creatures. After many months of extreme focus he had learned a significant amount of pole-arm combat skills, but could never match the other boy which pushed him to try even harder, but to no avail he could never defeat him. There was some sort of drive that Garret possessed that he could never understand. After a while he started to notice how the larger man treated Garret, it wasn't the same as how he was treated. This created a new feeling. Something he had never quite felt before, not at this level at least; jealously. His jealously grew with each passing day. One day when the pain was too much he would challenge garret to a duel. One last duel. He would of course get beaten again. He couldn't take it anymore and so he would take to the forest once again. Weeping bitterly. Maybe 'family' wasn't for him.

It was a year or so later when he was reunited with the caravan. He was in the trees and spotted the boy; Garret. A group of grimm was approaching from the east, but he did nothing. He watched with envious, and longing, eyes as they launched their attack on the caravan. It wasn't enough for him though. He spotted the boy's guardian and launched himself down into the fray without thinking about what he even wanted to do. The man didn't see Fang coming, and with the element of surprise, Fang was able to sling his staff in a wide arc and knock the man's spear out of his hands. He grinned slyly, challenging the man to a last duel amid the chaos. Maybe he would be impressed and give him the attention he secretly desired. Maybe he would see his strength and choose him over the other boy? Maybe. Fang went in for another attack, slashing downward with massive force, but the guardian was gone. The staff slammed into the earth and then he heard a loud growl to the right. Fang redirected his attention, but before he could react the man had thrown himself in front of a grimm; over Garret. A mixture of rage and sorrow burned in his veins. Without thinking he rushed across the battlefield and into the woods. He wouldn't stop running. He couldn't stop running. Tears streaked down his face. What has he done? What atrocity had he just committed? He would march onward for weeks until he reached the great desert of Vacuo. He swore to eradicate all emotions from his life. All the ones that would cause him pain at least. No more friendliness. No more love. No more jealously. It was all raw rubbish and he wouldn't tolerate it. He would retain only the negative side of his emotions from here on out. In the desert of Vacuo he would be reborn.

        [Sasselia Argenia]

This is where Fang Petrichor gained his reputation. He let his jealously, his malice, his sorrow take over and plagued the the kingdom's outlying villages. He would rile up grimm and lead them into population centers. He would scavenge the remains and create great wealth for himself. He was soon incredibly rich, yet completely unknown to the world other then his horrid ventures of deatha nd destruction. The people of Vacuo nicknamed him 'The Staff' correlating to his weapon of choice which he often used to wrangle a person into submission and then fed to the grimm which would eviscerate them in his brutal grip. The Staff represented death itself.

There was a time when he led a horde of grimm to a small village. He let the grimm have their way with the village in the usual manner; ravaging its inhabitants. He was looting a house when he spotted a grimm ripping two boys to pieces. One was older, about his age, but the other was but a mere child, a little younger then him when he was taken from his mother. Fang watched as the grimm torn the boy's arms off and sunk its teeth into the boy's chest. The sight wasn't anything he hadn't seen before. It was rather unremarkable as far as deaths went, but the older brother fought with all his might to save the younger brother. He screamed, kicked, and punched his way through grimm, but was ultimately overwhelmed. It was love. He had never paid enough attention to those dying around him to see it. It was horrifying. Love was such a powerful emotion and he couldn't help but feel the pangs of his lost soul. He wanted more then this life he had been given, but he was already too callous. Love was what he wanted more then anything, but he was undeserving. Or so the world had decided. It was his fate to roam the world, unloved. This experience would at least push him onward. He would leave his grimm raids and travel to a new land. He would roam north east towards Vale after that. Not knowing what he was roaming towards. He wanted love, but rejected it at the same time. It was not his fate.

        [Koryn]

Fang wandered the forests of the south for a long time before he reached Vale. He saw that the creatures of grimm had grown in power far beyond his dreams. Too powerful. Every town was wiped out. All except one. He stumbled upon a faunus tribe. They were beautiful creatures like that of a butterfly, only a butterfly that could rip for face off if angered. They were fortunate to have survived thus far, but it was only a matter of time. He decided he would do something rather uncharacteristic of himself. He would warn them before moving on. Maybe he wanted to do this because of his guilt? Or maybe he was captivated by the beauty and just wanted to preserve it selfishly. Or maybe this was his secret desire to find love, he didn't know. Nor did he care. He just knew that they needed to be warned of their impending doom. He wasn't sure that they would accept a human, so he posed as a faunus with a fake tail from an animal that he had recently slain. he also sharpened his nails and applied splotches of color to his skin. He entered their tribe and warned them that the grimm were becoming more fierce and larger in numbers and that if they just ignored this, they would eventually be wiped out. He would move onward to the north soon after. In search of something, anything that would relieve some of his pain...

╫ I N V E N T O R Y ╫

        PRIMARY WEAPON
        ▬ Cσllєctσr
▬ It usually appears only as a simple shepherds staff but has a few gadgets that help Fang navigate this harsh world. The staff has a slot inside of it that he can put dust into which cause the staff to take on the properties of the dust.
Melee Form ▬ Shepherd staff. Extremely simple, and extremely sturdy. In this form the staff is built for pure durability.
Ranged Form ▬ The staff has no ranged form, instead it has a dust compartment at the butt end of the staff. Gravity dust is most often stored in this portion of the staff which designed to bring the staff back to Fang's armor which also has a dust compartment build into it.
Other Form(s) ▬ The staff can fold lengthwise (keeping equal mass) to become a shorter, but thicker, pole to be stored on his person. The hooked end remains as is.
        Ammo Type ▬ Dust
▬ The staff has no lethal projectiles.

╫ S E M B L A N C E ╫

        *NAME ▬ Resolute Durability
*AURA COLOR ▬ Bright Yellow; like the light of the sun.
        *DESCRIPTION
▬ Resolute Durability gives Fang the ability to be the ultimate support tank by strengthening his body and making him immune from all kinds of attacks and negative effects only so long as he doesn't attempt to deal any direct damage back to his opponents. He is able to restrain, push, pull, and wrestle his opponents only. He cannot punch or kick them in order to deal damage, if he does those actions it would have to be a shove with his open hand or foot to push them only. The second he makes an attack move that damages his opponent he loses Absolute Durability's tanking power for the duration of the fight. Likewise, he cannot use any weapons to attack and deal damage to his opponents as this also counts as a direct attack. This ability makes him most dangerous up close as he can try to restrain an opponent to allow someone or something else to deal damage. His immunity only lasts for 10 posts of tanking in a given fight before he loses immunity.

*LEVEL 0 ▬ (0-99 posts) Every attack that hits him increases his strength for the duration of the fight. The power of the attack is sequestered by his aura to empower his attacks and movements. Increasing his strength by 50% per hit. This maxes out after 10 increments for this level. Waves of small projectiles will count as a single attack in order to prevent him from scaling too fast. Also, he cannot scale up more then once from a single post of an enemy. Meaning the opponents needs to attack him in 10 separate posts.
*LEVEL 1▬ (100-199 posts) Every attack that hits him now also increases his speed for the duration of the fight. The power of the attack is sequestered by his aura to empower his movements. Increasing his speed by 50% per hit. This maxes out at 10 increments. This ability has the same restrictions as his level 0.
*LEVEL 2▬ (200-299 posts) Every attack that hits him now also increases his perception and reflexes for the duration of the fight. The power of the attack is sequestered by his aura to empower his reflexes and perception. Increasing them by 50% per hit. This maxes out at 10 times his normal speed. He can only use this power for a total of ten posts in any given fight. This ability has the same restrictions as his level 0.
*LEVEL 3 ▬ (300-399 posts) Resolute Durability is able to be reactivated once for each time an ally or someone he cares about deeply has been KO'd (killed, or knocked unconscious and out of the fight). The percentage is also increased to 100% for all the lower abilities.
*DRAWBACKS ▬ The second he attacks an opponent directly and deals damage he can take that much damage from each and every attack that hits him. Causing him to lose his immunity for the duration of the fight. Also, his ultimate level has an extremely high cost. The death, or near death, of someone he cares about. This won't happen very often, and there are other restrictions specified in the levels themselves.
