Well at least one obstacle was clearled. Despite no comment being made to the additions to the plant, specifically the hearts, all was good. Now that the dazzler had permission to enter the business at his leisure, it looked like some progress would be made. He’d have to remind himself to contact his dear informant for the wonderful news. There were words of caution that were uttered to him during their exchange. Despite the fact that the magician was making leaps and bounds by being so close to the male, there was still a sense of caution swirling in their mind. Such thoughts never permeated through his facial features. That simple smile was spread and a nod was given in response to Liev’s words.

Another endearing expression lit up the owner’s face. Seems like someone was on a role. The simplicity found in a smile seemed to have its own charm. As for the objects, well things were settling down between them. Paper had Pen in its thin grasp while the writing utensil tried to fight off their affection. More pieces of note taking paper wrapped around the stick to keep it in place. Pen tapped its cap to express itself. Despite the ink holder’s protest, Paper kept a firm hold on the other. Crumpling noises ensued to which Pen finally stopped its movements. Tapping and crumpling noises commenced slowly as the situation between the two died out.

”I wouldn’t necessarily call it a “bad” commitment. I’d rather focus on the “commitment” aspect of it my dear doctor~” Aaron’s voice cooed to the slim male. Silver-locks weren’t quite sure if his partner was being coy or being genuine. Either way, Liev’s words wouldn’t sway this Shusona. He, at least, wanted to stay committed to promises made. It would be bad for his reputation if the magician wasn’t a man of his word. The scenarios that could play out were plentiful along with the poor endings each one possessed. ’Let’s try to avoid bad endings as much as possible. I wonder what kind of commitment this sweet little doctor would rather hear? He sure seems like the innocent-type~ I sure hope he’s being bashful~’ Their own thoughts cooed with pleasure as their joy danced in his lapis lenses.

Pleasure was soon replaced with excitement and joy. It was as if stars were present in their gaze when hands were folded in front of his chest. On their first day it seemed like the magician was making a new friend. You didn’t usually see people brag about having an Apothecary as a friend. It would be a real treat to have someone like Liev in their day-to-day life. Of course, this Shusona had to coordinate their schedule. There were some matters to take care of! Believe it or not, someone as carefree-looking and flirtatious as Aaron had a life too!
”Awwww~ But I want us to be as close as possible.” A playful pout was placed on his features. A sad expression never suited the curly-haired person as a smile spread across his face once more.
”So as long as you’re here I can be in areas that customers can’t be in~” It was clear that he was spinning the other’s words to his favor.
”What status do I need to attain to get all the access I desire~” It wasn’t quite clear what this magician’s intent was. As words could be taken in one form or another; their verbal expression seemed to please the one that was entertained.

”So adorable~” The words popped out as if it was one of the most naturalist things to say. Something about the way the two had their little exchange was like something out of a movie. Or maybe that was just how magical the two’s first meeting was? Despite Liev not have any desire of his own it had to be noted down that a favor would need to be returned. A pair of sky orbs glanced towards the two items. Pen quickly backed away from the stack and seemed to compose itself. Paper appeared to sigh as they held still from where they were. Ink was jotted down on the bleached material as Aaron made a note regarding that he would have to pay back his dues.
”Focusing on the negatives again, are we? Maybe I can help then!” A wonderful little thought bubbled up in his gray cell.
”How about confidence? I’ve already noted that you seem to lack a certain backbone. Of course, your timidness is quite adorable~” Flashing a small wink they continued on their blurb.
”Being a business owner I’m sure you’re going to have to step your foot down when a customer becomes difficult. What if some creep comes flirting with you? Oh! I don’t count since we’re friends now~” A gloved hand pointed towards the flashy individual as if to gesture that the two were indeed friends.
”One good deed deserves another. I think it would help us both out tremendously. Just think about it~ Of course, I’m the kind of guy that likes to help my dear friends when I see them in a pinch~”

                                                  LIEV HASTINGS
                                                  ((I'll fix the layout later.))

Why did he have to say it that way? He was starting to feel like the other was trying to get him to agree to being in an actual relationship. The mention of becoming friends elicited a reaction he did not expect. His head moved back ever so slightly while his eyes widened a bit. Why was he so excited? Like a child. It fit his overall personality so far, but did he really act like a showman all the time? A small smile crept onto his face. It wasn't a bad thing persay.

"Wha...?" He started while getting embarrassed. Close as possible. What did that mean? Like inside him? No, no, no. Who would think that? Ah, he needed to get laid so he wouldn't think like some sex-crazed teenager whenever someone flirted with him; although usually he made his exit when someone was being serious. Come to think of it. Their interaction so far as been abnormal. Typically, if someone was just flirting for fun or in a corny 'I just want a one night stand' type of way he would banter back--at least for a bit. It was probably because he was supposed to be working. Not to mention the fact that the magician was confusing. Before his cheeks could get all nice a rosy the other mentioned something that didn't sit well with him.

"No, you can't be in areas customers can't be in even when I'm here--unless I give you permission. Which I do not." There was a slight pause as he tried to figure out what he meant by status. Which brought him back to the commitment and being more than friends thought. "I don't know." He settled for the honest truth.

This time his face did color pink once more. "Wha...? I don...why?" He fumbled awkwardly with his words--definitely confused. Liev didn't understand why the other would call him adorable. He didn't even do or say anything in that moment. During the interaction the uncertainty and confusion probably stopped him from blushing as much as he would have if the man was being obviously serious, but this time didn't matter. His hand loosely covered his mouth again as he got an almost worried look on his face.

Liev calmed enough to drop his hand after a moment. He had to since someone walked into his shop. The owner sent her a brief smile as a greeting before she started to look around. Honestly, he didn't see himself as a negative person. He just never tried to teach someone and didn't know what this guy really wanted. Noted? Does he jot down everything? He let the man spit out a waterfall of words before replying. "If I felt I needed a boost of courage or confidence I could give myself that if I wanted." There was a brief pause before he addressed the other issue. "In the years I've been here I've never had someone come in to flirt with me--unless we count yourself. Which I don't know if anyone could ever take you seriously." He pointed out. "Now, if there is nothing else. Please leave. I have work to do. If you care to talk about this more we can at a later date." He added the last bit as an afterthought. Why? Because he felt like Aaron wouldn't take an absolute no--ever. It was rather troublesome. His tone and body matched up from beginning to end. This conversation was over.

What was the shopkeeper thinking when they took a step back? Well, he was no mind reader like a certain snapdragon. Maybe somewhere there was a little gray cell that housed that information. That was the beauty of magic! Making the impossible possible and in the image of the magician! This never got old no matter what trick was used. There were still restrictions on it, just like with any power. Said restrictions applied to any individual who practiced the art, including the two males in the store. For instance, practicing with the mystic arts without having an understanding of the end goal could be disastrous. More than once had Aaron performed tricks that did not go as he envisioned or were complete duds. Not only could the entertainer, with confidence, say that it was frustrating but also time consuming. Tricks needed be learned with time. Even if Smokey here actually went and met with another individual who practiced the mystic arts, it wasn’t as if their magic would be identical. Each had a bit of themselves thrown in the spells that were cast. So, was there something more to Pen and Paper’s interaction?

His gloved hand came to cover their amused lips. Was the good doctor thinking about something naughty again? Oh this was getting fun~ If Aaron was in the presence of a virgin then this was going to be fun but dangerous. Fun because any little innuendos thrown at Liev were being met with a cute reaction. Cute being that the other got embarrassed in a way that was somewhat typical of someone who was not experienced. Though even popped cherry individuals could still react in a similar manner too. It wasn’t as if V-card holders were all typical in sexual innuendos. Some were more brazen while others didn’t seem to care in the slightest. It got the flashy individual thinking if they should back off a bit. So while his expression remained amused their hand slipped back to his side. Maybe it was time to switch acts to stay on the snow-haired male’s good side. And what about the dangers? Well of course it would be a person-to-person basis, but these special card holders tended to get attached to their first timers. Was Aaron ready for that?

A pair of cartilage were tuned to the words spoken. Yes! That was the most business-like response Liev had given to his customer. The top hat bobbed up and down as its owner nodded their head.
”If that’s the case then perhaps I should apply as an assistant of sorts for your shop.” At least that was how Mr. Hastings’ response seemed to point towards to. It wasn’t as if what the good doctor said was unreasonable either. To allow your customers to wander in closed off areas of the shop would not reflect well on the businessman. It was good to set boundaries! At least this Shusona could listen and follow them, to an extent.
”You don’t have to give me an answer right now, I’m sure this is a lot to take in. I hope I’m making a good impression on you or otherwise I’m not doing a good job as an entertainer.” Aaron gave their shorter companion a wink.

With the top hat being slipped off their head, the accessory was placed on the countertop. A hand ran through their curly looks. If this was an attempt to ease the shop owner by displaying a less flashy self or something else, it was up to the other to interpret. The accessory was placed in a way that the brim of the hat was facing the ceiling. This was just about the time a customer came into the shop. Liev’s little spiel resulted in some intriguing bit of information along with the end to this interaction. He supposed that it was going to come sooner or later. Aaron wasn’t sure if the means of attaining courage or confidence through magical potions was correct, assuming that was what Liev was gesturing to. ’I wonder if I ever take myself seriously too. He says flirt and I say hello~ My my my~ It truly is a shame that I come off like that. I wonder if he ever took me seriously considering those rose-colored cheeks I saw on his face earlier~’

What more could this Shusona do? There was a customer who was probably willing to actually buy something, while a magician was here today to see matters that were brought to light to him. ’I’ll take that as my cue. It is always better to leave on a good note than on a sour one. I best give my findings to my dear little one~’ With a snap of his fingers the yellow flower that had been used in their silent conversations brought out one last card. Call me to set up our date. Underneath those words were numbers that would reach Aaron’s cell.
”Then I’ll wait to hear your voice again. If you prefer texting then be my guest~” If a response came then it was given a smile. It wasn’t the dazzling look used in his performances, it was that soft one that complimented his features.

He didn't reply to the bit about the man wanting to be his assistant. Liev didn't need one. This magician seemed like he'd cause him more trouble than anything. Then again, he didn't want to help with the shop. The man just wanted access to him and his magic. It's not like they had to meet at the shop, especially when it was open, to teach him anything. Wait. Was he seriously thinking about teaching him? Amber orbs looked down at the hat after watching him ruffle his curly locks.

His eyes shifted to the card that appeared. This time he plucked it free since it had a number on it. Liev was all over the place with this interaction and so he would at least take the card. He would have to worry about what to do with it later. Wait, date? The wording made him want to sigh, but he didn't. His hand fell to the counter with the card still between his fingers. Eyes now on the other as he spoke. He honestly didn't know how to respond to that, but he didn't hesitate long enough for it to get awkward. "Thank you...for keeping me entertained." There was a pause because he didn't know what he was thanking him for. He was entertained, but there were other things mixed in like confusion. "Don't hesitate to stop by if you want to purchase something." He added since he was running a business. It was used as his parting words. The card slipped into his pants pocket.

He made his way over to the actual customer to check on her--just in case she needed something. At some point, after the magician left, she inquired about the man with the top hat. He responded in a vague manner not wanting to think about it. She seemed to drop the issue. The rest of the day went by normally. Now he was working in the back after hours. It was a common occurrence for him. Liev would probably be leaving shortly though. He needed time to relax and think about the events of the day--even if he was trying to avoid it while working.

It was the job of a magician to keep his audience entertained. It was nice to hear that the shopkeeper was amused. Well, there would always be a next time whenever that may be. Since the sun was already setting in the sky, perhaps it was time to bid adieu. Every show had to come to a close eventually. Plus, the silver raven had already fulfilled someone’s wish by being here. It was so sad that that the man couldn’t have come here with some pure motive. Oh how nice it would have been to have strolled through that door and find a cute flower sitting in the dark. Their sapphire lenses glinted as the motive of the visit inched in their mind. ’But I still did it my way. At least let my actions reflect that. Despite whatever they have wished, I did what I had to do. I best do my own report before someone else decides to come through that door.’ Who knows, what if the woman that had come in was from the organization? Well, such a story was to be saved for another time. It would be a real shame to share the secrets of this man so soon after all~

”Oh most certainly! I’ll be sure to pop in soon and look at your wares with a keener eye.” By this point the Apothecary had already gone off to take care of the customer. Well, that was pretty much his cue to go! Rolling up his sleeves their azura hues looked at their top hat. ’Alright, you know what to do.’ The male pretended to spit into his hands before rubbing them together. It looked as if he was just ready to jump but was waiting for...something. Little by little, the brim of the top hat expanded. The total increase in circumference wasn’t drastic, yet it appeared to be enough for the magician. Hoping high into the air their hands clasped with each other before they were directed towards the engorged item. Like an arrow, his hands acted as a means to direct where his body would go. It honestly looked like such a childish trick. The real treat came as Aaron’s body continued to go well into the contents of the hat. With the male’s body swallowed whole into the accessory, the hat gave a small burp as the magician was gone from anyone’s sight. Even if anyone had bothered to shake and look into the accessory, there would be no sight of the white clothed individual. It truly was a magical exit! The only thing that remained in the Apothecary’s store was the hat, Pen, Paper, and the magical flower that had bloomed in someone’s notebook.

About two blocks down from the shop, a red party cup was rattling on top of a roof. It jumped about until two hands, in the shape of an arrowhead, came bursting out of the object. Using the edges of the red material, those gloved hands pushed the rest of Aaron’s body out. When their feet finally came into contact with the concrete a breath of relief was ushered. A hand was placed on their abdomen.
”Wow! That was a bit tight! I wonder if I’m packing on the weight.” White leather material patted their gut as if to express that they may have gained a few extra pounds.
”Better not keep my fan waiting.” Taking out their checkered cellular device, a number was rung. A single rang went through before the conversation commenced.
”So I did what you asked precious~
…..
Hmmm….hard to say since I didn’t get too good of a look at the solutions. I was looking at a different merchandise.
…...
Hahahaha, don’t get mad at little old me~ You know you can’t act like that around someone you’re asking a favor from.
…..
See! A cheery tune suits you much more than a grumpy business one.
….
Yeah, I already planned on seeing him to-
….
Is it always business with you sweetheart~
…..
I’ve got to find my own joy in life too. As long as you get an answer, that is all that matters right?
…..
But is it true? You think there is potential in helping him?
….
Don’t be so cryptic, what a turn-off~
….
Hahahaha, yeah...yeah...I’ll try to give you an answer.
….
Huh? I don’t need help but maybe I can help y-”
The call was cut as Aaron had a grand smile on his face.
”Must they always be like this~” Although the other end of the call seemed curt and focused on the objective, this Shusona was much more carefree.

Looking off in the distance, the bright lights of the Festival in town seemed to call him. ’Well, it wouldn’t be so bad to see someone else try to entertain me. I heard a lot about the festivities but how grand are they? Do they also have magicians over there?!’ The thought was played with. Mostly the magicians that were present in these kinds of events were the faux ones. They conducted cheap tricks that were then plastered as “magic”. Sure, people liked to accept those cheap tricks but that wasn’t true magic. ’Should I try to show them up or display my artistic talents? I wonder if there is someone there who is looking to hire a real entertainer?’ A once slightly gloomy thought was casted away. Darkness was falling and it was time to change the pacing around here! Their body broke up into that familiar colorful confetti and flew off into the wind. Their destination: The Fall Festival!

With her strange, but good fortune still on Silvaria's mind, she found herself walking about the city streets. The young witch was on the way to the local library for a good read.. Though, she wouldn't admit how nervous she was about her job interview for the head librarian position. Even though she knew a thing or two about books, poor Silvaria wasn't the most charismatic

Currently, She was by herself at the moment, spell-book in hand when she passed by a shop with a strange name. "The Doctor's Apothecary?" Silvaria asked herself softly, thinking she had merely said it inside her head. Underneath the sign was part of a description that caught her eye. "A dash of something magical, hm?" Without realizing what she said could be taken out of context, some people walking by gave her a sideways glance.

Any other day, the young witch would mockingly glance back- Not to agitate them of course, but for the reaction. Looking back at the sign and the little description, she had a good laugh- Thinking, at first, the mention of magic was just an advertising technique. Already interested, Silvaria decided to take a peek inside. Even though she didn't have any ailments, This was her special day, and she felt she could do what she wanted. At least for now.

Immediately, Silvaria was met with the smell of medicine. "Well, they weren't kidding when they wrote remedies, either." The young witch said to herself. Though, she was used to solitude and didn't think it odd. Despite the smell of medicine and the slight anxieties that came with it, Silvaria took in her surroundings of the quaint little shop as it still intrigued her enough to stay. The task at hand still in the young witch's mind, Silvaria wondered if what the sign said was true. The City was named Fantaisie City for a reason, and perhaps the one in charge knew a thing or two about magic.

((Short. Although, if she asks him about herb/potions/etc it is highly likely he will get rather talkative. It depends. Haha))

He wasn't usually open on Saturdays, but it was common to find him here working. Liev would keep the door locked on the weekends even when he was in the building, but this time was different. He was expecting a visitor after all. Well, he wasn't entirely sure if the person would come. Nothing was absolute. Currently, he was in the back placing a gift in a good sized bag before stuffing tissue paper in. Liev took the time to make sure it covered everything while looking aesthetically pleasing. The magicians yellow rose sat somewhere nearby. He was still debating whether to attempt to use it in a concoction or not. It could be dangerous though--considering it was magical.

With that done, he walked back to the front and behind the counter. That's around the time someone walked in. Liev turned to look at the door. A warm smile on his face. "Welcome," he greeted in a cheerful tone. The place wasn't that large so he could technically welcome anyone no matter where they stood at that moment. "May I help you with anything?" He didn't recognize her. It made sense since regulars wouldn't think to stop by on the weekend--unless they just happened to be passing by. That was probably the case for her now that he thought about it.

By the time Silvaria heard a voice of another in the small shop, she had started to relax. Already used to the faint smell of medicine, the atmosphere on the inside was quaint and even a bit cozy. However, after letting her guard down, the voice caused her to jump as she let out a squeak.

Quickly, she turned to see who it was. "Oh, hello." Silvaria managed to say, brushing her silvery hair behind her ear. 'He's just a clerk or something, so unless he wants to get fired; he can't insult you for what didn't just happen.' The young witch thought to herself, trying her best to brush off the slight embarrassment.

At the man's offer, Silvaria shrugged. 'Ha, I could use all the help I could get.' The young witch said in her mind. Her scarlett gaze attempted to meet Amber to be polite. "Heh, well- I am a bit new here." She finally admitted, followed by a nervous chuckle. "The name's Silvaria.. Silvaria Raven."

As if the supposed clerk didn't think she was crazy already. Silvaria believed this would probably do it. 'Well, I did land myself a house in one of the better districts and had cake for breakfast. If it really is my lucky day, what could go wrong?' She asked herself. "Actually- I'm just browsing, but um.. " Silvaria wanted to slap herself as she stumbled over her words. 'Ugh, I'm just wrecking this first impression. Aren't I?' The young witch quickly tried to shake the thought. She survived a job interview after all.

"The sign outside mentioned magic." She sighed. "I uh- ..happen to be a witch." At this statement, Silvaria tried not to wince as she averted her eyes. She paused, allowing for laughter should he not believe her.. "I guess you could say I'm on a quest for knowledge. I was on my way to the library, and I guess this place caught my eye."

'Finally! You got the words out, Silvaria.'

                                                  LIEV HASTINGS
                                                  ((...))

He stifled a brief chuckle when she yelped in surprise. A hand was held loosely over his face while a smile sat beneath it. The shop owner could tell she was nervous; after all, he got that way at times. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Raven. I'm Liev Hastings--the shop owner." His tone was gentle as he spoke. With the introductions out of the way, he patiently waited for her to get out what she was trying to say. When she started talking about the sign he walked from behind the counter until he was standing in front of her. It appeared as though the conversation might last a bit longer than usual. There was no reason to keep such a distance. Of course, he didn't step into her personal bubble either. A warm comforting smile graced his features.

"Ah, a witch. I get some coming in from time to time." He pointed out more to ease her nerves than anything else. A soft smile adorned his face after he spoke. She probably wanted to know if actual magic was involved. Knowledge huh? He was getting a lot of those types lately. It'd be better if they also bought something when they visited. Well, really it has only been two people so far; but that is still a good amount more than normal. "Have you created things like salves or potions before? Magical or otherwise." He asked because he was both curious and trying to figure out what she might want from him specifically.

"Would you like to sit down, Miss Raven? I can brew you a cup of tea." He offered as he gestured to the seats nearby that were placed by the windows at the front of the store. If they were going to have a long conversation, there was no reason to stand around. Liev waited until she made her decisions about what was offered before he got to the issue. "Now, what is it you want to know? I may have the answers which you seek." He gave her another smile.

At first, Silvaria grew even more nervous. The supposed clerk, now known to her as Leiv Hastings, was actually the owner of the shop the young witch was standing in. When she paused, expecting laughter - she felt a mix of relief and surprise. 'So..Fantaisie City does have more than just humans roaming about.' This led Silvaria to wonder where to find fellow witches, but she needed to focus on now.

"Well, I've heard of potions and things like that." At the mention of potions and salves, Silvaria was immediately reminded of her youngest brother - likely more than several cities away. "My youngest brother does this sort of thing - mostly to care for creatures. Magical or otherwise." Though, a different brother was the reason why she stumbled upon Fantaisie in the first place.

At Liev's offer of tea, Silvaria was a bit surprised. "Well, as long as it doesn't interrupt anything." She answered, not wanting to inconvenience someone she just met. Even if the young witch could go for a decent cup of tea right now to clear her head.

"Well.." Silvaria paused, taking a seat nearby. Her legs were tired from walking, anyways. "Mr. Hastings, I guess you could say I'm a bit of a collector." Silvaria glossed over a bit of details, only just meeting him after all. Even if he seemed friendly enough, her other brother was good at having contacts. 'Relax. If Agni was in town, you'd know already.' Silvaria told herself as she tried to keep calm.

"I have a..rival..competing against me." Silvaria hated using that word to describe Agni, but she didn't want to have anyone after him. This was her battle after all, and the young witch felt rude just spilling it out to an almost complete stranger. "Long story short, they specialize in fire magic. In the coming weeks, I might need something that could heal burns." She said, hoping that wouldn't actually come to pass.

                                                  LIEV HASTINGS
                                                  ((...))

"I see. That's kind of him." He commented after she mentioned how her brother creates potions and things. "It will be no trouble. Just give me a moment to brew some in the back. Feel free to look around while you wait." He said before he made his way to the back. It wasn't long before he returned with a mug of hot tea. Steam curled up into the air--moving based on his own movements. Soon it was set down onto the small table in the sitting area. "I hope you enjoy it." He said with a smile. Liev made his teas specific to the individual drinking them. Their mood was also taken into consideration. He was rather good at reading what someone needed from a cup of tea.

Now it was time to have the real talk. "A collector?" He parroted before asking a real question. "May I inquire about what you collect?" Then the bit about the rival came into play. A rival, huh? He wasn't sure what she meant by that, but the bit about fire magic concerned him. "I do hope this rivalry is not dangerous." He commented before he got to burn healing issue. "I do have a burn salve. Let me see if I can find it." He revealed as he walked over to a particular section of the shop only to shortly return with a small container that he ended up placing on the table. "This works beautifully, but it takes time just like with most natural remedies. If you wanted me to create something that could heal burns immediately I would need time to do so--especially if the burns are magical in nature. This would make it more expensive as well. If it was plain fire that burned you, even if it was brought into existence or manipulated by magic, then it would involve less work on my end." He paused for a moment before continuing. "I could make something for you that protects against fire magic. Prevention is always the best course of action. There is no guarantee that it will eliminate burns from occurring all together though. There are a lot of factors involved--which I can explain more if you want me to create one or both of those things." There was a brief pause before something occurred to him. "What type of magic do you deal with?"

A gentle smile crossed Silvaria's face. Liev didn't seemed to be as uptight as she expected a store owner would be. "You have my thanks." She managed just before he went over to the back. Already settled into a chair with her elbow on the table, Silvaria looked around from where she sat. She knew that she'd have to give more details about the situation the young witch found herself in. Instead of looking at products, Silvaria looked around to make sure everything was shut from where she sat. She wanted no eavesdroppers.

Once he returned, Silvaria immediately moved her elbow off the table and straightened her posture. She nodded in appreciation, but didn't take a sip just yet. "I'm sure I will..Once it cools." Silvaria answered. Now, if she was ever going to hope for any help, she'd have to be more open about her problems. "Well, my rival and I collect spell-books." Silvaria started, and then paused as she heard Liev mention a burn salve.

"To sum it up, the one who collects the most will be able to live their life in peace and solitude. The one who loses? They are no longer considered a Raven, and must fend for themselves." The young witch continued as he walked over to retrieve a small container. Silvaria hoped she wasn't being rude by just dumping all this info on him.

Once Liev placed the container on the table, Silvaria stared at it curiously. This definitely looked familiar. Something like her youngest brother would use. As she did, she listened to Liev's explaination about the product. Though, it also seemed he wanted to know what kind of burns they were. "My rival manipulates fire.. And often uses spellbooks to do so." She explained, just before his next offer to make something protective.

"Well..Mr. Hastings, I really wouldn't mind both." Silvaria finally said. Liev seemed to know a lot about remedies - or at least enough to spark long conversation. It intrigued her. Even if Silvaria wouldn't openly admit it, she felt like she could barely say one sentence before feeling like she messed up in some way. 'If only I knew that much about something..' The young witch thought to herself. However, at Liev's question, Silvaria realized she already had.

"I specialize in Ice-based magic." She answered with a slight smile. Though, her expression dropped shortly after. "That also means I'm vulnerable to fire." Silvaria added, averting her eyes towards the tea she was yet to drink. With it cooled to her liking by now, she took a sip. Something about the beverage made part of her wish she left it warm to enhance the crisp and inviting flavor - like a fresh winter's day. It relaxed her. "Oh wow!" Silvaria exclaimed without much hesitation. It was still a really good cup of tea.

Spellbooks? That seemed rather harmless--until he heard the rest. His small smile fell from his face when she pointed out how one would be kicked out of the family to fend for themself. That didn't sit well with him at all. He knew what it was like to fend for oneself. Granted, they would be adults it seemed and that would make things easier; but still. There was obvious concern etched onto his face. After all, was winning actually a good thing? Most were not good when it came to solitude. People strive on being social--even introverts to some degree. "Is this a family tradition that must be done?" He asked out of curiosity since it seemed like a horrible situation, but there had to be a good reason. Right?

She didn't really answer the question about whether this rivals magic merely conjures up real fire using spells or uses spells to create magical flames. There was a big difference, but he was going to assume she was stating the latter. "I see." He said before he started to clarify the order. His fingers picked up the salve that was set down earlier since it was not needed. "You want a quick healing salve that deals with magical burns and a potion that will help protect you from magical flames. Is that correct?" He paused long enough to give her a chance to confirm or correct. "Is there a preference to how fast you want the healing to occur?" After she replied to that question he went on to explain a few more things. "Now, I can create a general magic infused potion and salve that will suffice. But if you want them to be stronger I will need more from you. I can tailor the items to be more specific to you and the person you need it for. It will work less effectively on others, but the benefit against the one would be great."

His eyes lit up when she pointed out that she focused on ice-based magic. "Can you create snowflakes? Or other ice sculptures? Ah, your magic must be so beautiful~ Could you show me a sneak peek?" He generally seemed excited and interested in what she specialized in. The shop owner completely ignored her comment about being vulnerable to fire. Not that it was a huge deal in the big scheme of things--anyone should know that. Her reaction to the tea calmed his enthusiasm a bit though. A pleased smile spread across his face. It was always good to see someone get what he intended out of a cup of his tea. "So, I take it you like it then?" He asked before giving a soft smile.

Still holding the cup of tea, Silvaria listened. The young witch herself wasn't really sure on the matter when it came to fire magic. Let alone the crazy spells Agni would try to cast. On top of it all, Silvaria technically already had to fend for herself, and therefore didn't have a whole lot of money on her. Still, she had just met Liev after all, and didn't want to go too much into detail just yet. But she did say this; "Witches and Wizards in my family depend on spell-books. Our library is destroyed and one of us is to blame. Sadly, nothing can change that." With this, Silvaria averted her eyes, hoping she wasn't putting a damper on things.

Choosing her words with care, Silvaria took another sip of tea in hesitation. "My rival and I were very close.. We've had a falling out you could say. I have no idea what he's capable of. If we were to ever fight, time could mean the difference between a simple duel or a tragedy." The young witch sighed, knowing what she said could lower the shop owner's sprits. "I don't want that to come to pass, for either of us. Unfortuneately, I don't have a whole lot of funds on me." Silvaria kept her eyes averted, not wanting to see the potential sad or concerned expression on his face. I got myself into this mess. It's my fight. Asking for help is only going to make me look weak. She scolded herself.

However, Silvaria didn't forget his last question about her magic. "The tea is lovely by the way. In fact.." Silvaria opened her spell book and got up from her chair. The young witch needed a little bit of space after all. With the spell-book in one hand, Silvaria used her free hand to freeze the rest of her tea.

Though, that wasn't the end of it. Once the tea froze completely, she started to speak the words from the book. To an untrained ear, they were indecipherable. However, the ice began to rise from the cup in flurries within a matter of seconds, and made their way to the palm of her hand.
The frozen tea hovering just above her hand, the young witch murmured another spell, sending the ball of flurries towards the ceiling before they 'exploded' and made it snow inside the store. The flakes themselves looked like petals of a rose or some sort of blossom aside from the fact they were tinted the same color as the tea.

Little did Silvaria know, the spell caused her markings and her eyes to glow slightly. Oblivious to this, she looked around, scanning the new surroundings. "Odd.. I didn't expect it to look like petals." Silvaria spoke, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly. "I hope it's pretty enough. With all the emotions from moving to town, my birthday, and that job interview; I guess my magic is a tad unpredictable right now." Silvaria wanted to slap herself again. Sure, Liev knew that Silvaria wasn't a native, but she felt moving to town was her fight. You already have your stature against you. Really, Sil, get yourself together!

"That's unfortunate." He commented when she mentioned something about their precious library getting destroyed. Liev was trying not to pry. He wanted to inquire about things that may prove to be helpful. Tell her it will work out somehow. In the end, he held his tongue. This was a family affair and she was merely a customer. The things he needed to know in order to create a magical item may seem personal in some situations, but he never needed to know someones whole life story. Still, it was hard to keep a certain distance at times.

"I'm glad you like it." He gave her a warm smile. When she stood up as if she was about to cast a spell he took a step back just to make sure he wasn't in the way. The words that came out of her mouth sounded quite lovely, but he didn't comment at the moment. Instead, his eyes mainly stayed fixated on the frozen tea--which was currently hovering above her hand. When the frozen liquid exploded from the ceiling to sprinkle down tea stained petals of snow, a big grin spread across his features. Even his amber orbs held a glint of excitement in them. Liev held out a hand like one would if they were trying to catch a snowflake even though it would always melt as soon as it touched. It wasn't until she spoke that he switched his focus toward her once more.

Liev noticed the glow of her eyes and markings that he didn't really catch before. "Beautiful." Whether it was said because of the magic glow that came from her or the display she put on would not be known unless one asked. "Unpredictability can be a good thing at times." He commented--his arm long since dropped to his side again. "You just moved here, had a job interview already and had your birthday recently? I hope all went well." There was a slight pause before he added something else. "Oh, I could start on the potion and salve while you save up money from your job. If you have enough by the time they are done you can purchase one or both of them then. I could also work on the general version so you can have them in your possession sooner. Later on, when you have more funds, I can create new ones that are more specific to you." It was all about laying out the options so the customer could make the choice that they felt worked best for them at that moment.
