Project Name: One-Skein Chevron Scarf Started: November 20, 2014 Completed: May 4, 2015 Pattern Information: Free Ravelry Pattern Yarn Used: Viking of Norway Raggen 763 Other Information: This was originally going to get mailed to the US for christmas in 2014, but I didn't have time to finish it. In the end, I took it with me in 2016 and gave it to the same little girl as the other scarf as this one is bigger and she obviously needs a big girl scarf. She was very happy. Also look, my favorite scarf pattern again lololol. Ravelry Project Link

Project Name: Cast Iron Handle Covers Started: August 23, 2015 Completed: August 31, 2015 Pattern Information: Free Ravelry Pattern Yarn Used: Lily Sugar'n Cream Twists in Country Twist Other Information: While I don't like sugar'n cream for towels, I love it for heat resistant. It's so thick and stiff that I feel completely safe using it as a potholder or trivet. I made two of these for my husband for his fancy cast iron grill pan. The picture is terrible. So washed out. Project Name: Basketweave Stocking Started: December 9, 2015 Completed: July 18, 2016 Pattern Information: Sock Ravelry link, but from a magazine/book, Free Bow Pattern Yarn Used: Marks & Kattens Trixie 4004 Other Information: So some backstory for this one. My mother-in-law taught me how to crochet before my husband and I got married. This was some yarn she gave me for christmas the year after she taught me. I could not figure out a use for it! I thought it might make a pretty christmas sock after awhile, and oh boy did it! Took me forever to get around to finishing it though. Now I just need to find a similar weighted yarn to make my husband a matching bow-less sock...... Ravelry Project Link

Kind of long...but well I like it...
"You know what? I just realized that I'm a paradox. I'm a writer who absolutely hates words. I find them horrible and disqusting. They are inaccurate and they can never portray exactly what I mean. There is no such a thing as the perfect word. Every dictionary is wrong, containing nothing more than brief summaries of basically what a bunch of know-it-alls agreed on. But the thing that makes words so horrible and yet wonderful is that no matter what that dictionary says they can never mean absolutely the same thing to any two people. However we have so many words it amazes me. We try so hard to find that nonexistent perfect word because we need to try to tell people what we feel. But it's just impossible now isn't it? That's why I hate it and that's why I write."
Did you come up with this, or did someone else. Either way, this is simply mindblowing.
Thanks!:oops:I came up with it...glad you liked. It was just something I kept thinking about as I walked to my classes
