Ashton doesn't fidget. Ashton stays still and doesn't smile, looks about as perfectly concerned as he should; his fingers are perfectly painted, not a chip, not a flake. "I actually need to get to work in half an hour --" and he shrugs, stands up, gives Lucas a nod - "but I'll text you, then? Thank you for alerting me, at the very least. If it happened spontaneously..."

Well. He winces, slightly. "I expect we'd have Blackfriar's again, and that's no good for anyone."

And just like that, the other was fairly shut down in an attempt to deal with the information. Not that Lucas blamed Ashton - he still hadn't figured it all out yet. Sighing, the man nodded, pushing out of the seat to stand and offer his hand in farewell. "Text or call whenever you need," he replied solemnly. "Anytime."

That was all he could do - all any of them could do, with how little they really knew. "I'll text the group and...I'll stay to get a late lunch." Lucas slid back into the booth, grabbing his phone again. "Take care of yourself, Ashton."
