cowlick I'd have to say there's a really interesting animie called Hellsing that's definately worth checking out I agree. Although I think it's an anime, not animie. Hellsing is very good, i've got the complete series on DVD. I hope they come out with a second season though, I think they could pull it off.

Kochikens Do you have a favourite Vampire Book, Movie, Video game, Song? Post anything that is related to Vampires that is your favourite here! Depending on how much of that information you want too know about vampires... my favorite is "vampire: the occult truth" by: Konstantinos (sence thats the only one i'v read.--least a few chapters) Some things in there are laughable though. Movie would have to be Interview with the vampire, sence it is the only vampire movie i seenwhere the vampires dont really die in. And i personily like the castkllevania games, so the best i'v played was Symphony of the Night. 3nodding GO ALUCARD! (Dracula is cool too razz )...i question if "Shademan" in the Megaman series is considered as a vampire though, so i'll stick with Alucard. And i havent heard any songs about vampires... >_>;;

Well film-wise, Underworld is a great movie, in my opinion. And the vampires don't all get killed by humans! What a change
Song: Has anyone heard a metal cover of Let Me Live by Queen? The lyrics stay the same but take on some really dark undertones... "All you do is take, all I do is die.... Let me live, give me a brand new start". Any thoughts?
Thought Soul Reaver was a brilliant game. I know its a console one and not an online multi-player RPG, or a D&D effort but there you go. Just personal taste
And while I read a lot of books I haven't actually read any of vampires yet. All recommendations welcome....

Kochikens I've played a Vampire Lich King in DnD before. It was cool. That's my favourite vampire related thing. Yeah yeah, this is from months and months ago but... Here is my old Lich Lord avatar: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/Valgav/Lichlord.pngAs for my favorites... The Black Ribboners from the Discworld series by Terry Prattchet are a great twist on vampires that also lends social commentary. But the best book I read on the subject was a study on vampirism in gypsy legend. Very interesting.

Ok underworld, soul reaver, dracula 3000, and bloodrayne are my favorties. I can't wait to see underworld 2 and bloodrayne ((I hope they don't destroy the game in the movie, which seems to be a trend in video game based movies))

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is my favorite vampire anime flick. The first, simply entitled Vampire Hunter D, lacks so much in the animation, drawings and overall plot...Bloodlust makes up for all of these with fantastically drawn and magnetic characters, smooth animation, and a wonderful plot line that includes bounty hunters and romance...
I've gotten off on my own again . sweatdrop
Bookwise...damn, Laurell K. Hamilton has some interesting vampires, Anne Rice's vamps are good. I've read a lot of different stuff with vampires, I don't think I could ever pick a favorite.
And Atreyu's "The Curse" album is the best collection of vampire-themed songs. It's incredibly moving biggrin

Sounds like a grea encyclopedia!! I'd do anything to get a book like that! How much did it cost you?
My favorite novel on vampires would have to be 'The Don Sebastian Vampire Chronicles', probably because it's the only one I've gotten the chance to read.
=P
I'd love to read Anne Rice's (Did I get it right?) works. In all my days of rolepaying, I have yet to find out what the legendary Lestat is like.
