Listera Squid Kitty I'll kindly pass, I didn't join this guild to roleplay and I really don't want to be pressure into doing something I don't want to do. (At least it feels that way.) cat_sweatdrop I join to make friends and play Splatoon with people in this guild.
Anyways, sorry and I wish you luck on your Splatoon roleplay, though. I agree with Squid Kitty. Not everyone is into roleplaying so don't force anyone into doing it. You already have a couple people willing to roleplay and more will eventually come if this guild grows. i wasn't forcing... --_--/// what i was doing was offering to help her get started. a simple no and that would have been that. but you can still give feedback on what you might be intrested in reading.

Not everybody is into RP, and that's ok. Just because we're all Squid Kids doesn't mean we're all going to want to create a story about it, so maybe just don't quote everybody into a post unless they've shown an interest.
That way, it's not seen as forceful.
I am not opposed to the RP idea. If it takes off, I'll even open a SubForum specifically for it - for character profiles, OOC discussion, the RP itself, etc.
For me, I think a lot of what goes into a person's Inksona is their heart and feelings for the game. Their gear, their weapon choices, their favourite levels and ink colours, etc. And while the story mode, small as it is, is available to view on YouTube, I think a lot of the emotion is lost is a second hand experience.
I'm happy to work under any story idea, but I'd choose an after story, or something along those lines, maybe exploring the Inkling/Octoling relations after the rescue of the Great Zapfish and defeat of DJ Octavio.

im not going to keep the poll open much longer. one more day maybe. then i will create a rough draft to work with. (any and all lore pieces you could hand me would be great. since i can only learn from second hand)
