JD smiled then. Kyle understood him, didn't he? He always had, and he would would, right? He leaned closer, rubbed his nose lightly against that of a man who made butter melt.
He was glad he was back here. Glad he had bumped into him before, glad that he had seen that flower.
"How long do you think the girl can keep herself occupied?"

Kyle glanced at his watch, realizing, for the first time, one of the difficulties of having a child. They cut into personal time. Well, not too badly, at least not tonight. And little girls had to sleep eventually, right?
"I'll need to make her dinner in about an hour." He admitted, playing his fingers through JD's hair, "But she'll keep herself busy until then. She has colouring books."
So, he wasn't an ideal father yet. He was learning.
((Shall we close it here, then? I think JD and Isabel need a shopping RP now!))
