Lalune/Oswald ♠ Dasha  As soon as the maid began brushing was when the first crack occurred. Then her hair grew back to the way it was as each individual bone shifted, grew and popped back into place. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, had she been more susceptible to pain. As it was, it was uncomfortable and she couldn't move, hoping she'd shock the maid into stillness or that she'd be curious as to what happened so she could convince the maid to not inform anyone or simply kill the poor thing.

Jinthel froze when, after the first brushstroke, Oswald's fur.. Changed. It grew longer and have a different color. She frowned uncertainly, then jumped at the sound of cracking. Bones. It sounded like bones. And it was coming from Oswald. Only that wasn't Oswald, it was someone else, apparently.. Which actually explained the odd emotions and actions. She dropped the brush and edged backwards, staring with wide eyes as the person's form went to another one she recognized. Lalune. One of the Spades. The third one, if she remembered rightly. Also one of the most bloodthirsty ones.. She shuddered softly as she watched the sickening transformation, having to fight back the urge to vomit. The sound, the sight of it.. At least she sensed no pain.
After a few moments of sitting there in stunned silence, she suddenly realized that the female Spade probably would not be happy with her for that bath. That thought was enough to make her jump to her feet and make a dash for the closed door. At least it wasn't locked.. Maybe she could find a good hiding place if she was fast enough. Not that she expected to get away, but trying was better than staying and being murdered by a bloodthirsty Spade. Why, Oswald, why?! She could understand not wanting the baths, but why couldn't he replace himself with someone who was less likely to kill her?

Lalune ♠ Dasha  Lalune groaned as she stood up, swaying slightly. God, she hated potions. She opened her eyes and watched as the girl ran to the door. Of course. She dashed forward, attempting to grab the girl first. She didn't want to kill the Queen's maids if she didn't have to. Besides, the girl meant well and the bath did feel nice.

Jinthel grabbed the doorknob and pushed it open. Before she could leave, she heard a groaning noise that made her glance back. Lalune seemed a bit dizzy, which made her hesitate.. Just for a moment. When she saw the woman suddenly run at her, she yelped and raced out of the door without looking where she was going. Lalune would only barely miss grabbing the back of her dress as the petite girl went running out into the hallway. She needed to get away. That was what she thought. Find a place to hide from the scary Spade she thought was probably going to kill her.

Lalune ♠ Dasha Lalune swore, sliding as she missed the maid. She burst out of the doors, spreading her wings and using them to speed her up as she chased after the girl. She couldn't let anyone know she impersonated a spade, that was technically illegal.

After leaving the Meeting Hall, Jinthel proceeded to pulled Oswald down the hallways to the bathroom. That party.. Meant that this bath time would have to be a little rushed. She only hoped that there weren't any bad knots in his fur.. That definitely would not be good, but after skipping one bath time.. Who knows what his fur was like? Once they got to the bathroom, she was left with another dilemma. Oswald was in his human form.. She couldn't very well go bathing a human! He could just do it himself anyway. She pulled him into the bathroom and closed the door, then stood and stared at him with an annoyed expression as she tried to figure out how to tell him that he had to go back to being a puppy.

Oswald let Jinthel drag him all the to the bathroom with his head held high. Once he step foot in the bathroom he poofed back into a dog again. This time, his ears were all droopy and he looked down unlike earlier that he looked brave like he was going into war. Suddenly his ears perked up when he remembered something. The secret package was still safe in contact; strapped around his back like he was a messenger. He untied the knot and nudge the decorative jar wrapped in a purple ribbon towards Jinthel. "Before I forget, I made this for you." he said while looking up at the girl while wagging his tail.

Jinthel was relieved that Oswald poofed back into his dog form. At least that problem was dealt with. He looked so dejected now, after trying to look so brave before, it made her feel very guilty. Not bad enough to decide to let him skip bath time again. Maybe once could be excused, but twice in a row? He would never get away with that and they would both get into trouble. Something she wouldn't want happening.
Her attention was drawn to the jar when he pushed it towards her. Confusion. When did he get a jar? Earlier, he had been trying to give her something. After a moment, she knelt down to carefully pick up the jar. Even she could notice a certain, familiar smell. Chocolate? She curiously opened the jar to look inside, then smiled a little as she saw chocolate chip cookies. Tempting to try one, but now wasn't the time for that, so she closed it again.. Then suddenly picked up Oswald and hugged him. She put him down after a moment and lightly scratched his ears before going over to the bathtub to turn on the water.

Oswald ears shot up like he was shocked by static electricity when Jinthel picked him up and hugged. His tail began to wag left and right from the contact until she placed him down on the ground again, if he was human he would probably faint by now. He looked to the direction she was heading to the bath tub, and whined in disappointment that they were still going through with it. He hesitated and begin to have second thoughts. He head towards the door and began reaching for the door knob. It was extremely difficult especially if you are not tall enough and blind to reach the door knob, he made dog crying sounds. "I give up!" he admitted.

Jinthel made sure the water wasn't too hot or too cold, then looked over at Oswald. He was trying to get out of the room, but couldn't reach the doorknob. He was making her feel bad again.. She sighed and stood up to walk over and pick him up again. This time she carried him over to the tub. Instead of putting him in it, she sat down Indian style and put him on her lap and began lightly petting him. She really did try to be nice about bathing him, so she wasn't just going to toss him in the tub. That would probably give the poor puppy a panic attack. Yes, she had a huge weakness for animals. Especially crying ones. They just made her feel so bad and like she had to try to help them feel better.

Oswald tensed when Jinthel took him away from the door. He closes his eyes tightly expecting to be placed in a pool of water but he didn't. He looked around in confusion when he was placed on her lap, she felt her petting him which caused Oswald to move his head up towards Jinthel which made his snout a few inches closer to her nose. It is shown that he is more relaxed now then he closed his eyes in satisfaction feeling the soft touch brush his blue fur.

Jinthel smiled gently as she continued petting Oswald. He seemed to be relaxing.. That was good. She rather suspected that he wasn't going to cooperate very much anyway, so she was trying not to startle or upset him. Once she thought he was sufficiently relaxed, she stopped petting him for a moment to dip her hand in the water, then went back to petting him. She figured just dropping him in the water would only make him panic. That dislike of baths was understandable.. The tub was slippery. Plus, he was blind. She would probably freak out too. This was very different from what she normally did, but she was always trying to find ways to make bath time less unpleasant for the dog. This time, the plan was to try just easing him into the water. First letting his fur get a bit wet before she would carefully pick him up again and slowly lower him into the tub.

Oswald slightly flinch at the wet touch but he soon relaxed again into from the petting motion, he tail wagged in a slow motion if he was a cat he would be purring but for a dog he was panting. Whatever Jinthel was planning it was going smoothly, he looked to the maid. He began sniffing like he was expecting something, then he looked back at the girl in a questionable look. "Do you have treats on you?" he asked as the change of speed of his tail increased at the thought. He would be calm around his delicate doggy treats.

Jinthel periodically dipped her hand in water as she continued petting Oswald, watching his reaction to this very closely. He still seemed pretty relaxed.. Maybe this was actually working? If so, then why hadn't she thought of this sooner? It could have saved so much time and grief. Her head tilted in confusion when she noticed he was sniffing the air, wondering what he was looking for. His question quickly cleared up her confusion. Treats.. There was still that package of treats from the other night..
She looked around for a moment, spotting it on the edge of the tub where she had left it yesterday. It wasn't within reach though, so she had to hold Oswald and half get up to reach it. She would pick it up between two of her fingers, then sat back down and pulled out one of the treats. She had gotten really good at doing things even when her hands were full. She let him sit on her lap while she held the treat for him to eat and went back to petting him. After he finished, however, she would pick him up to slowly put him in the tub. The water would only reach just to his belly, so it wasn't too deep.. But sometimes she thought that he would consider even one inch of water too much.

Oswald's tail moved even faster when he smelt treats, when she pulled out one of the treats he swiftly snatched out of her hands with his jaw and chew on the doggy biscuit. He felt like he was in heaven! Except that Jinthel was rubbing at the special area all dogs love to be touched. "Hmm?" Oswald's went droopy again when he got lift up by Jinthal again but this time he wasn't going to put him down on the dry surface safe zone. He lightly kicked his legs once it touch the water surface, making a splash. He wiggled out of Jinthal which resulted him falling into the water with a SPLASH. He didn't claw at the windows like he would usually do but had an annoyed and unamused facial expression. "Let's get this down and over with." he grumbled under his breath. He was all soaked and some of his fur covered part of his eyes.
