Too late. Simon growled angrily and took a step back before slapping Harley across the face, "Don't you ever talk about my father again!" He shouted out and wanted to slap him again, but a guard hurried over and held onto Simon's hand, "your majesty, that's enough. . .b-besides, I don't. . .believe you're aware of what you've just done." He stammered and released the new confused king.

"I know what I did. And I'll slap him again if it means he stops talking about my parents. I dont care if I get in trouble." He huffed out and crossed his arms before waiting for harley's apology.

"accept?. . .m-marry?! Hold on!!" He shouted and looked around at Margery and Rue, "I-I. . that's not what I wanted! I was pissed!! I-I just slapped him!" Simon asked then looked at Harley and blushed brightly. He backed up a step and shook his head, beginning to feel dizzy. He had just gone from confused, to angry, to shocked and now mortified.

After another minute or incoherent mutters about being too young and backwards rules, a guard hurried to catch Simon after he fainted from shock, ". . . .perhaps we should tell him all the laws before he decides something else he isn't aware of." the guard suggested and lifted his king up, "Shall I set him in his room?"

Simon was slowly coming out of his faint spell and looked around. he half expected to see his own room and apartment, hoping everything was a bad dream. But then he saw the drapes and expensive looking bed frame around him and groaned, "I'm still here. . ." He said then turned over in his bed. Only to find the boy in his nightgown right beside him, "woah!!"

He stumbled back and grunted when he fell off the bed before jumping right back up, "H-Harley?! What the hell are you doing in my bed?! WHY are you in my bed?!" he asked then looked around for any kind of guard. How long had he been out, "g-go sleep in your own room!"

"I'm yelling because there's a perfect STRANGER in my bed! engaged or not!" He yelled before grumbling and looking away. it was late, so he didn't really want to send the boy away, but he didn't feel like sleeping next to him. The King grumbled and looked around before deciding to sleep on a nearby alcove. He hugged his arms and curled up to try and get some rest.

it was a funny sight to see when a maid walked into the room. The king himself was asleep by a window, and his fiance was sleeping in the bed comfortably. She went to the fiance first and tapped his shoulder, "my lord? sire, time to wake up."

Simon groaned and looked up at Harley before blushing and covering his eyes as the guy got dressed. This was embarrassing! How was he supposed to get used to this?! The man looked down and groaned before beginning to change clothes then headed down to the dining room.

He looked around seeing everyone there already and rubbed his eyes after taking a seat himself, ". . .is it the law or something for forced fiances to share a room? and is it against the law to maybe had two beds so the fiance does NOT have to sleep next to me?"

"It's not rejection. . .it's. . .I dont know him! and I don't want to be forced." he argued with lady margery before looking up to Ryon. thank god he didn't have to stay for the rest of the conversation. He stood from the table and blushed shyly before grabbing hold of his arm, "please don't say that like I'm a prized poodle? this is weird enough, uncle ryon." he sighed out and started following him to the stables.

At least this was one thing he could be happy about. Simon reached out when a tall black stallion was brought to him, and he started brushing the horse's hair and body tenderly, "wow. . .oh my goodness, he's beautiful." He smiled and chuckled when the horse nudged him.

"yeah. . .I used to be, but then dad died and mom. . .she kind of lost herself a bit. I've tried taking care of her, but when I moved out, she checked herself into a home. She said it was better so I didn't have to worry about her." He shrugged quietly then looked over at the people. it was weird to see people praise him as if he was some kind of deity. Were people really in that much of a need for someone?

He watched people and saw an old woman reach for him with tears , praising the 'king's return.' He frowned but reached to touch the woman's hand before looking up at his uncle, ". . .I dont know if I can do this, uncle . . .they're looking at me like I'm a savior, or leader. I dont know the first thing about helping these people."

Simon was climbing down from the horse when he noticed the training ground a little bit away. He saw Harley fumble and blinked quietly before marching over when he watched the other man start laughing, "h-hey hey. let him up." He called out and crossed his arms, "you won the fight, now let him up. ." He scolded and watched the other guards look to each other in a bit of shock.

The king was standing up for his fiance, and scolding a training instructor? Some of the guards chuckled, finding the show of strength a bit amusing before heading off to their other duties.
