i'm a 21 year old art student from Slovenia who is addressed as Jim by my friends, but you can call me whatever, i go by many names (slav, badger, redneck, jimble, jamble, guy, take your pick)

i love dragons and animation and the honey badger is my favourite real animal.
i come across as crude sometimes but i am usually not as rough as i might sound, i figured i might as well mention that because i've had some incidents happen on gaia before (which is why i now use the signature i do)

i joined bc i liked what the name implied, and i found it via someone who responded to my roleplay search post, as they had the link to you in their signature

I mostly do digital work, but love to work traditionally as well, especially with pencils, pencil colours and acrylics, however it's harder for me to focus on traditional art.

I love cartoony/comic art best, I'm most fond of original styles that look western-ish, but I am okay with well-done anime and realism as well.
I dislike same-face and same-body syndrome and badly done designs a lot and am always willing to give you a review/critique of these things, as I really want as many people as possible to stop falling victims to it. the secret is that you need to get out of your comfort zone.

i mostly draw the characters that appear in the novel i'm writing, and i am always very happy to receive questions about them, because it helps me develop them more (warning: i sometimes give very long-winded replies)

I occasionally buy art but only if I really really love the style, i don't have much money to spare.
I always have real money commissions opened, and only open item commissions on Gaia very rarely, if I really want a certain item so much that i will think about it for way too long. My dragon skin avatar was the last item i drew art for, because i bloody love dragons.

I've been a Gaia user for maybe 3-4 years? i honestly don't know. i mostly joined to get art and roleplays

my other hobbies include being a snob, watching bad cartoons, obsessing over fire types, complaining about bad movies and crying about fullmetal alchemist

My real name is Hazel but on here my nickname is Xan. I am 23 (I think, I have lost count) but have the heart of a seven year old at times haha

I have just got on to gaia after a two year break and all the guilds I was part of have died out. I used to be part of a really nice friendly art guild so was looking for something with a similar vibe. It was actually putting a thread on the guilds forum for my own guild that I came across this, it seemed perfect!!

I wouldn't call myself an artist as such, well others would disagree but I draw and paint for fun and when I have time as I am currently doing a zoology degree. Most of my 'Art' recently has been making cards being Christmas just gone, I tend to use sharpie markers and they take me forever though.

I will have to put my art on deviant art at some point as they are all over the place on the internet and on my computer at the moment haha, Though I think my deviant art is of the same username Xanaduhaz but not much on the atm,

Aside from drawing I play piano, trombone and flute. I also like baking and occasionally photography (basically if I am somewhere nice or of animals), I also am a crazy Disney fan.

I also make jewelry, play video games, like reading fantasy novels, playing with my two Siamese cats and target air pistol (occasionally competitively, I have a coach - if I was more confident I would apply to do it in the deaf Olympics haha but would need to get back into training) I have way too many hobbies, when I went on a university trip to Tanzania, I found a genuine glass bead kit and exclaimed I could use it for jewellery making, my lecturer turned round and exclaimed what don't you do!!!

I adore Disney being in the UK I have only been to Disneyland Paris. One day i would love to go to Disney World. A lot of my art is Disney based.

Hello, everyone! My name is Sarah, I'm 26 (27 soon!) and from the UK. I've been on Gaia since 2006 and hate how money-hungry it has become, but I just can't leave! >.<

I am starting Gaia over again with an Animal base and would like to get back into drawing avis, but mainly animal avis as I feel these would be a bit easier. xp whee

Oh yes, I joined Genuine because it looked really well presented and it had recent posts! xd Some guilds are so quiet these days... Anyway I thought that this one looks cool beans.
