True, his own life had not been a walk in the park, but it was no where near the tradgedy that these two had been through. It left him wondering, but he didn't feel the need to dive any deeper. Ysara had told him the summary of her and Shiki's entire life. What more did he need to know?
"Well, I am certainly sorry to hear about all of that. Must have been terrible. It certainly sheds some light on your personality, as well as Shiki's. Hopefully, we will get along, the three of us. Since it looks as though I will be bunking alone, at least temporarily."
He smiled warmly, and picked up his quiet tune again. Sometimes, he really despised the fact that his hands had to be constantly busy. But not now. Now, he let the song he had written fill him, and move the conversation along.
"So, you never did tell me what you and your brother were majoring in." he said, tilting his head. He was aware that changing the subject so abruptly could be considered rude, but he didn't want to stay on this particular topic. He was not as private as Shiki, but not as open as Ysara, either. He would spew his tale only when the time was right. Until then, it was best to simply dance gracefully around the subject.

We weren't really planning to attend though, at least until Shiki is less suspicious of everyone." She answered calmly. "What about you Allie? What are you majoring in?" Alistair grinned. "I'm majoring in Drafting, but my elective is Theatre. It was a toss up, between that and some kind of Music, but I figured I can do Music next semester." he shrugged, and set the guitar aside. It made him a bit self conscious, not having something to hide behind, but Ysara would figure it out eventually. He slipped off the edge of the bed, and walked over to his bags.
"Have you ever performed before? I did quite a few in high school, and in my previous college. My favorite was always Shakespeare. The costumes are beautiful, and elaborate, and the language rolls off the tongue. Makes me feel sophisticated, and cultured." he laughed, and pulled out a large bag of candies, wrapped up in ribbon. He took his place on the bed again, and opened the package.
"Do you like sweets? My former roommate sent me with a bunch of them. She makes them from scratch." He popped one of the hard little candies in his mouth, and held the bag out to offer them to Ysara.

But I have spent my life acting in different ways to get others to lower their guards around me. It helped me learn about the other." She confessed, giving a smile when he offered her the candy she happily accepted one. Eating it happily. ║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║

Alistair grinned. "Sounds like something Lily would say. I dormed with her at my previous college, and she was the first Succubus I'd ever met. Lovely girl." He popped another candy into his mouth, and sighed. "I wonder if she's found a new dorm mate yet. I hope it's one that will understand her condition. She doesn't always have the best control, you know? Her parents thought that suppressing her abilities was the best option for her. Obviously, it didn't work out."
He chewed on his lip as he sucked on the sweet in his mouth. He wasn't making much in the way of conversation here, because usually he would be flirting by now. Trying to reign in his personality was only making him seem dull. Or at least, he felt very dull. Then again, being exciting was hard when your heart was trying to kill you.
"So, is there anything you'd like to talk about? I feel as though I should be much more interesting than I am currently being. But, sickness and all that. Heh."

She remarked, relaxing a little. She blinked at his question, tilting her head slightly, before she chuckled again at that, running her fingers through her dark hair. "You don't need to try so hard to be interesting. At least, not with us. I find you to be quite the pleasure to be around, and Shiki trusts you to some extent. So just be yourself, and you have nothing to worry about. If you need some time to yourself so that you may recover I will let you be though." She said reassuringly. ║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║

"Oh no, she isn't coming here. She's staying at my old school, with the rest of my friends. They said they'll drive down on break, though, to see me." he said, quietly. He didn't really know if he believed it, but he wasn't going to think too hard on it. Doubt and depression were Alice's thing.
He stretched a bit, and looked up at the ceiling. "Naw, as long as I stay relaxed, I'll get better. If you leave, I'll just sit here playing my guitar. Which is much lonelier than speaking with you." He smiled, a bit of his charm shining through the dulling pain.

He lifted his head enough to tilt it to each side, cracking it. A sigh of relief slipped past his lips, and he closed his eyes. "As far as the security guard goes, he can be as creepy as he likes. As long as we follow the visitor rules, he can't do s**t about it. Or, if we don't follow the rules, we just have to not get caught. Which, we are very good at doing. Well, Alice isn't, but that's different." He thought for a moment, before shaking his head. "You'll meet Alice eventually. Don't know what you'll think about her, but oh well." He kept it vague, but felt there needed to be some small explanation since he had mentioned his female name.

I'm certain they will be." She pointed out before she heard the remark about Alice. "You continue to flatter me, even after you have heard our story, and yet you are not afraid of what we are possibly capable of doing." She pointed out. "Yeah, you'll have to be really careful about not getting caught by him. Ah, I'm sure I'll get along with her, if not I can always wait for you to come back, at least you're the fun one." Allie shrugged. ”Your brother… interests me. I’m not sure what it is yet, because we obviously didn’t have a good first impression of each other. But there is something that definitely caught my attention.” He sighed, and stretched. ”But I’m not sure he feels the same about me. He probably wants to stay as far away from me as possible.”
The stretch resulted in several pops from his back and shoulders, and he groaned appreciatively. He felt the tension from the ride remove itself, and smiled as he leaned back against the wall once more. ”I am the fun one. But she isn’t so bad, once you know how to handle her. Which is similar to how you would handle a child made of glass.”

She explained calmly, seeming to think about it for a moment. "If you like." She paused seeming to consider it tugging on the ends of her long dark hair. Allie suddenly felt extremely uncomfortable. He knew, of course, that the girl meant no harm in her offer, and he didn't blame her for his feelings. But he had learned the hard way not to trust just anybody with his mind, dreams. hopes or secrets. He smiled a bit, and shook his head, looking down at his guitar.
"No, I think I'll just find out the old fashioned way, thanks. My dreams are something no one has ever seen, and I think I'd like to keep it that way, at least for now."
He hoped that his own personal issues weren't going to get in his way after all. Because if they started to, he would have to do something about it. Nothing stood in his way. Nothing, not even himself.
O.o.C= Sorry it takes me so long to respond to these. T^T Between work and being sick, and this being a brand new character that I'm not used to yet, there are a lot of bugs to work out. I feel terrible.

Dreams are precious, and sometimes they reveal quite a bit about a person. Plus if Shiki doesn't fall from it I don't know how well you'll recover from something like-" before she could finish speaking a hand had covered her mouth, pulling her to her feet and pressing her back against him.Shiki kept his hand over his twin's mouth, holding her close with it with ease, as he looked from her to Allie, then back to her again, before he released a sigh. "I figured you would be trying to pull something like this Ysara, but while I'm sleeping. You know even in my dreams I can still here you." He rested his chin on his twin's shoulder and he glanced towards Allie.

Allie had to admit, he was startled. He hadn't heard the male enter his room, and it set him on edge. Small sparks flew from his fingertips, and he cursed under his breath as the candy melted in his hands. He wiped the sticky mess on his t shirt, making a mental reminder to change later.
"Well, I obviously need to work on my awareness. I'm living with a ninja." He joked, trying to clear away his own nervousness. He cleared his throat, and picked up the bag of candies, glad his little outburst had only melted the one in his hand. "Would you care for a sweet, Shiki? They're very good." he offered, extending the bag to the other. He supposed it was a kind of peace offering, to attempt to put them back into good standings with each other. He really did enjoy the little bit of music he had heard earlier, and was hoping to charm his way into being able to play with the male.
"I hope you had a good nap?"
