Horalle Sachs Qyp Horalle Sachs I hope airbending will get deeper and more in-depth. We haven't seen that stance ever in atla. Pretty sure all the moves he used in atla are southern style airbending based. Aang himself had proven himself to be a master since he got his tattoos as a kid. However based on the picture I'm quite sure it'd be northern style airbending. Baguazhang + a hint of Xingyiquan = Airbending for all four Air Temples. We just never saw everything in ATLA. Had to google what you mentioned. Those moves were pretty rad, not to be cynical but it would make me happier if airbending had their own distinct styles. Aang probably revisit all the air temples and relearn other types of airbending thus he inherited all of those moves to Tenzin. He'd do anything to resurrect his people. Ps I don't like the creators referred air benders as Air Nation, I prefer it like it in atla, the Air Nomads. Sharing the word nation with the Fire Nation left me in an uncomfortable spot. They have referred it as Air Nation? Pretty sure they call them Air Nomads, and Air Temples. Don't think I have heard anyone call it Air Nation...

I think there is a Mandarin word like that, that means like, nation, culture, and religion all at once. I could be wrong, look it up if you can, but I am sure there is words like that in Mandarin, or Cantonese, or Japanese, or something. So "nation" could be culture.

I just remember seeing one word that meant like 10 different things, and it was like, culture, region, country, something, something... You know? Since all the martial arts used in the four bending arts are from North, South, East and Western China, I figured it would be all different dialects of Chinese. So it could be that maybe all the different peoples are just referred to as nations by Fire Nation people, or something XD I dunno, could just be a writers mistake, it happens. Especially since it was Zuko saying it...
