Well since I never really planned to finish it I'll give you short and sweet version. Basically they are about to make it back when Christelle takes a gut shot and falls, Owen picks her up and dashes way ahead of the group to get her a to medic asap. By the time he finally gets there shes lost too much blood and she dies in his arms, he becomes an emotional shut in spending the rest of his life just going through the motions waiting for the day death will finally come for him.

The problem with rankings is that people will pull out that. "He's/she's older excuse or that He/she is just too skilled." Etc. Seriously ranking is already taken into consideration through avocation the High Avocations such as Reapers, Harbingers, and the newly addition Avocation under progress and the normal standard ones. There really is no need of a ranking system. Everyone should really be working together and be evenly matched.
