VIZ has officially licensed Bleach. I'm excited and relieved about it. Excited because that means Bleach merchandise shall become more easily available in the US and relieved that 4Kids didn't get ahold of it. When it comes out, we can expect another thousand bleach cosplayers at Anime Expo... sweatdrop I'm hoping to cosplay Urahara Kisuke for AX '07. I just hope there won't be 100 other Kisukes then. gonk

Appleseed sequel & TV series in production. I still haven't seen the movie (the original or remake) but it looked damn good and I'm excited to hear there will be more of it coming out. I'll have to make an effort on seeing the movie soon.

Production I.G announced that Blood the Last Vampire will be made into a live action movie. It'll be produced by Bill Kong (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Hero) and directed by Ronny Yu (Freddy vs. Jason). Ji-hyun Jun will star as Saya.

I'm excited for a live-action movie. The actress to play Saya looks like a good match. Unfortunately, the movie won't be released till 2008 so it's gonna be a while till we get to see it. sweatdrop

i would like to know if any one goes to AWA in septemver *date not set*
if me and my freinds are trying to organize a giant group costume of all the kill bill main charectors. i think it would be awsome if we could pull it off (yes we want ot get all the crazy 8 cool plz help cause if we can pull this off i will have an excuse not to make armor.

An interview at animeOnline with Funimation brand manager Lance Heiskell reveals that Funimation has acquired the broadcast and DVD rights to One Piece; an uncut, subtitled version of the show will be available, as well as a newly dubbed version for television broadcast. I never thought it would happen but it looks like one of my favorite anime series will actually get a decent dub and, better yet, an uncut and subtitled version on the DVDs. I hope you're all as thrilled as I am! xd rofl Even though the first 143 episodes were ruined, the series is still going in japan and they're currently around 222 episodes. Hopefully Funimation will release the One Piece movies on DVD as well. Then we can all pretend 4kids never happened. 3nodding

Funimation has not only licensed Shuffle as was prevesly stated but ive heard it picked up ouran high school host club as well.

will be attending Anime Boston 2008 will be my third year there March 21-23
