Though, in the meantime, we could go to the ball? I was thinking that Kaeyi would probably convince Conrad to go with her so she could make sure she wasn't the only Faunus because humans make her uncomfortable sometimes >.<

Nothing to be ashamed of ^.^ My parents pester me all the time because I haven't had a boyfriend. Admittedly, its because I'm too focused on science and a tiny bit on Gaia, but still >.<

Cynthia came running into the area skidding to a halt as ran past the group. The girl bent over placing her hands on her knees and breathing heavily. "Sorry...I...wasn't...keeping track...of the time..." She said in between breaths. She took a moment to rest taking in deep gasps of air. Having to run all the way from the opposite side of campus to the cliffs in the time that she did was a feat within its self. Within a minute or so she recovered her stamina and stood up straight. Letting out one final breath she turned to her teammates with an apologetic smile with a small bow following. "I should apologize. Its not like me to be late. Got caught up in a conversation over tea." She told them with her hands clasps together in a humble manner. Looking over to Liliana she noticed the rock orbiting around her. Cynthia tilted her head to the side a bit confused. She had missed the explanation of her semblance being that she just arrived. Instead of simply asking about it she walked up to the girl and pawed the floating rock lightly like a cat. It went back the opposite way before going back to its usual orbit. A small chuckle came out of the small girl as she pawed it again. It was easy to tell that she was amused by it. "This is your semblance right? Its fun." She said as she kept playing with the levitating stone. []
((OOC: Dont ask what took me so long. Many things went down and now I am converting my time to what needs to be done. ))

Kaeyi grinned brightly at their last member. "So, I know one of your semblances. What's the other?" She asked Cynthia. "It's for my special one. With a bit of concentration, I can copy a specific one. Otherwise it's random, but it's stronger if I know what it is," she explained.

Cynthia turned her attention to Kaeyi who asked about her own semblance. An intrigued looked appeared on the young girls face. "You can copy a semblance? That sounds amazing!" She said sounding rather excited. She put her hand on her hip and smiled. "What you actually saw was my aura, not my semblance." As a little demonstration she created a replica of her that walked out beside her. Cynthia took her hand and stuck it into the replica having it phase through it like nothing. "These are just images for the most part. Though they can trick people pretty easily." Just as she said it the copy vanished into nothing. "As for my semblance...its dangerous to use. So if you decide to copy it only use it for a second or two at max okay?" She said with concern in her voice. In a flash she vanished from sight in a blur and appeared sitting Conrads shoulder with her legs crossed.

Auras and Semblances are the same thing here. They're basically interchangeable.

Just role with it for now. Cynthia just likes to be specific.
"HA! You can teleport? Nifty. What's the range?" Conrad held out a hand and helped Cynthia to the ground.

Liliana held back some choice words when their forth showed up late. She wasn't really one for tardiness; she thought punctuality was key in team building and team work in general. She sighed at Cynthia's inquisitiveness towards her semblance.
"I can create an orbiting force around myself equal to my mass. Small arms fire and rocks aren't a problem but anything bigger..."
Cynthia teleported onto Conrad's shoulder, much to his and Liliana's surprise. She raised her eyebrows.
"Yeah, I'm with Conrad. Does it have a range or is it really teleportaion, or merely superspeed?"
Cynthia gave a cheeky smile when Conrad assumed it was teleportation. Most people did think that when they saw it happen. Seeing him hold out his hand she gracefully used it as a platform to get back on the ground. She then turned to Liliana who questioned if it was teleportation or not. "It is super speed actually. Really fast to the point being undetectable when moving. Well almost undetectable...basically my body moves at such a high speed that time slows down around me. Even though it took me a second in real time, my time it took about five or so." The girl then turned to Kaeyi for a moment. "If happen to use my semblance Kaeyi...be warned it will take a lot out of you. In fact it could kill you if you use it for too long. I am used to most of the effects of it by now, but I remember the first time I found out what I could do. I was in the hospital for quite awhile after that. Just a friendly warning." She told her with more concern in her voice.

Kaeyi ignored the correction. The dilineation between them was ridiculous, they were the same word, and that had always driven her up the wall that people wanted to define were each came from. "I'll be sure not to use yours. I can only imagine the two semblance's effects working in tandem," she said. "Anyway, I think it's high time we killed some Grimm. Agreed?"
Excitement suddenly built up on Cynthia's face as Kaeyi mentioned about killing some grimm. She pointed to straight to the forest with a childish smile on her lips. "Onward! We can't keep those beasts waiting!" The short girl exclaimed in a loud but proud voice. Without much hesitation she darted forward into the brush ahead. Being agile and nimble she maneuvered through the trees with ease. She was rushing with adrenaline so much to think about slow down for her comrades. The eagerness was definitely showing. After all she thrived for combat. Putting a hand on the hilt of her sword she kept it steady as she pressed forward to the unknown territory before them.

Kaeyi followed swiftly and fairly easily behind Cynthia, her weapon sliding down her arm to form a sword that glowed a soft green. Her ears swiveled, listening carefully, ears twitching slightly, alert, when they heard something until she was sure it wasn't Grimm. "Be careful not to wake the whole forest," Kaeyi said, habitually talking as if she lead them, "We might be itching for a fight, but Grimm are more dangerous in groups."
Conrad wanted to plow ahead. He wanted to make as much noise as possible. He wanted to scrap. He wanted to get into a brawl. And the easiest way to find their target...
"Kaeyi, what say Cynthia and I bring the ruckus? You and Liliana stay back and scout for this Grimm we're supposed to bag. The way I see it, the more Grimm we kill, the more likely it'll bring out the target. Cynthia's speed and my brawn should be enough to handle a dozen or so Beowulves at a time. I'll go catch up with Cynthia."

Liliana smirked. She admired Conrad's enthusiasm. She knew he could take care of himself and knew she wouldn't have to worry about watching his back. She didn't want to lose any comrades, and Conrad seemed to be a tough one to hurt, let alone kill. Still...
"He's a brash one, isn't he? I like his plan, though. If those two serve as a distraction we should be able to spot our target easily. What say we wait until they pick a fight. Then we can assess the situation. If it looks bad we can pull back and regroup."

Conrad rumbled ahead, not waiting for Kaeyi's reply. He caught up to Cynthia fairly quickly, given his size.
"Cynthia, let's cause some mayhem. Maybe it'll draw out our target, eh?"
