He sighed a little but brightened up. "Ok, I'll come and see him." He said leaving the room to go down to the entryway.

He carefully examined a statue standing closeby.

He made his way down the stairs and saw the man standing there looking at the statue. He was good looking, the guard was right. "Good morrow, what are you doing visiting here?"

Aeren jumped a little hearing the Prince's voice. He turned towards him and bowed deeply. "My prince, I didn't see you coming", he looked back up at him and most obviously liked what he was seeing. "My name is Aeren and I have something to discuss with you".

He could see the guy was checking him out and it made his ego even bigger. "What is it you wish to discuss?" He asked with a raised eyebrow as he carried on descending the stairs.

"I wish to speak about dragons, sire", he said, stripping him with his eyes. He could see the muscles on his chest which were quite impressive.

He raised his eyebrow slightly, letting his gaze wander over Aeren. "What about dragons?" He asked turning to walk down a corridor to the living room, beckoning for the man to follow him.

He stopped dead in the hallway and turned to face Aeren. "What a load of crap! As if that is even possible! I'm sure if it was we would have managed to stop their rampaging before now!" He said crossly, before turning around and continuing down the hallway again.

He chuckled a little and shook his head thinking it would be best not to talk about it until they had gotten into a room where they could talk in private. He followed after him in silence taking in the impressions of the surroundings.

"I'm glad you think it's funny." The prince said hotly as he continued to walk.They made it into the living room and the prince all but threw himself gracefully onto one of the arm chairs. "You may take a seat as well." He said gesturing to one of the other chairs. "So what is this crap you talk of?"

"No crap at all ... and thanks", he said, then he sat down and crossed his legs, resting and elbow on his knee and leaning forward. "It's like I said. I've got a friend, she's a dragon and we're hanging out. I talk to her, she hunts and sometimes I get a share of it. But the most imortant thing is I'm kinda like .... an embassador".

The prince looked at Aeren. "What a load of tosh. How can you be an ambassador for the dragons? How do you talk to her?" He asked skeptically.

"I know it sounds crazy, sire. I wish there was a way to prove I'm not just a lame old liar. But I couldn't just have landed in the town. On the other hand I can't just tell you where she is as you then might just kill me, get your army and kill her ....", he leant back in his chair and raised an eyebrow. "And that's why I'm here. I ask you to come with me .... only you. I'll lead you there and prove I'm not lying".

He laughed then. "Do you really think I'm going to leave my town, with a man I do not know because you might have a dragon friend, who I'm guessing is actually a figment of your imagination. " He said, before chuckling 5 himself at the absurdity of it all.
