Her posting on Demeter couldn't be far enough from the Citadel when the call went out. Her former detachment was assigned to back up Alliance forces but no one contacted her yet. Their men were dead or unable to defend during the initial attack on the station and bordering of the ship then. They were lucky to escape at all. Stepping over the remains of a piece medical equipment set to the side, Uda calculated the cost and time needed to repair the medical wing. It needed more construction and upgrades but there was nothing they could do now. What little resources they had at their disposal outweighed the number of wounded of what was left of the crew.
The doctor looked up from treating a crewmen with seven bullet injuries and mild concussion. Her hand found the hilt of her pistol before realizing who was standing in front of her. She managed to dragged two or three into the medical wing seconds before emergency protocol took effect yet even her own blood stained clothes could not protect them. Colonies faced this kind of threat every day but the Citadel was no stranger to this kind of chaos.
The Demon was the only nearby Alliance vessel she could see at the time. She owed it to the soldiers who decided she was worth the risk. Her own crew was docked with the station when the Gettysburg went up in flames. Its drive core malfunctioned from the looks of it but she was not an engineer. Even in her own armor, her medical training was at the front of her mind after those doors sealed.
"Commander...it is you." Uda glanced at the soldier behind the young man in front of her. If there was any consolation, it was that they escaped with their lives and a few soldiers who managed to hold on this long. "For a minute I thought you were...how many injured do you have this time?"
(Hopefully I posted in the right area.)

A brown haired male was seen entering the Medical Bay, he had been going to and from places trying to get Soldiers and Officers down here to get checked up on. The craziness that had went down after they dealt with the first Cerberus Attack on the Ship when it was at the Citadel was still going through his mind, how in the world did all of this happen? Taking a deep breath he shook his head, right now that wasnt what was important. The man and woman he was bringing down were the real concern at the moment. After that last hit when they tried to head for the Mass Relay, a lot of the people nearby had gotten heavily injured. A ton of people ended up getting killed.
" I hope Lessus is okay...Not that many Asari and Humans are stationed there now but..." He bit his lip, before looking at the Mass Numbers that had lined up the Medical Bay. Where was that Doctor at? Honestly, he hated coming down here, even when he himself got hurt he usually tended to his own wounds up in his little room. It looked like he hadnt slept in a few days, after being grouped up on by the cloaked cerberus operatives he was a bit concerned that more had stowed away on the ship and were in hiding and waiting to strike. So he had taken it upon himself to patrol the ship in the event they attacked unsuspecting crew members. Hopefully if they were here, the hole had sucked them out of the ship or taken care of them.
Finally his eyes locked onto the red haired female in charge of this place, " There she is..." And began to approach her, " Ive got two more people for you... One of them took a blow to the head during the explosion, and the other I havent checked yet. I found her on my way here. "

"Help get them on the extra beds," she nodded. "Take a seat at my - the desk. There is not enough medigel but I will see what can be done."
Uda walked over the soldier she assumed was apart of this crew. She did not see many wondering around ship but there were so few left to patrol the ship at the moment. The pair being dragged into her wing were worse for wear following their escape but it seemed their rescuer had injuries that would leave off duty for the time being. The number of patients stretched supplies thin. Sooner or later they would need to risk outside help for more bandages and medigel. The dead, however, is matter for the crew entirely.
The soldier in front of was barely on his feet with sleep evading him. She looked over at the extra beds throwing one the unconscious patient's arms around her shoulder. The concussion could be classified as mild to severe at first glance. There was no telling without personal knowledge of the crewmen.
Laying the man down on the table, the doctor walked over to a cabinet to grab a roll of bandages. The head wound could be tended to with medigel but there was no telling if the was brain damage. Memory issues were to be common for a short time, though. It was the woman she worried about.
"Sorry for mistaking you for the Commander." The doctor barely looked up from her Omnitool as she read the vital signs read out. This man was lucky but recovery would take a few weeks. "Where did you find the woman? How are your own injuries?"

The brown haired male nodded, before moving over to the beds and laying one of them down. So few extra beds here just made the frown on his face grow more depressing. The Soldier clearly wasn't well fit for seeing so many of his comrades, even if he was somewhat newly placed onto the crew before all of this, in such pain and dying. The other soldier he was carrying she took from him and began to glance and examine, she was straight to work. Which was probably the best thing that a Doctor could do given the situation that they found themselves in. He ten watched her, the medigel should heal the mans head wound up decently but it was still something to be concerned about. There was no telling if there would be lasting damage from it until afterwards.
"Its fine, just be careful not to do it often. Especially when he is around, he might not like someone being mistaken for him. Especially considering we dont look all that similar to each other. " That was when she asked about the woman he found, " I found her on my way here...Actually, I found her right outside the Elevator....She must have been on her way down here when she collapsed. And I dont have any real injuries, I heal decently fast. How about you? Feeling okay with the workload mam?"

Uda began wrapping the man's head before looking up at the soldier. She did not know where he came from, if he was already part of this crew. It clear they both were with the Citadel under Cerebus' control and them on the run now. There was not enough time after the jump from the relay for introductions. It was a not a surprise given their situation.
"We will rebuild eventually. When the ship went into lock down, there was little I could do to locate any of you." She said. "This is the least I can do after what the rest of you survived."
The doctor walked over to the sink to wash her hands and dried them before walking over to the woman. The crewman's burns were second to third degree at best from blasts. Other wounds were projectiles lodged where they met the mark on her way here. Putting a pair of gloves, she carefully began to remove the bullets. She imagined them boarding the station itself with ease. How Cerebus operatives managed to do the same with an Alliance was also easy to imagine but no one could think unless you knew how to react the kind of violence commonly found in the battle field.
"This visit does not exempt anyone from treatment." she said softly. "Cerebus has taken too much from us already. My name is Uda Stark, by the way."

The Soldier put a hand onto his forehead, and shut his eyes letting the Doctor work on the two without trying to interrupt her too much right now. He knew fairly well that Doctors and Scientists Both usually required 'Peace and Quiet' to do their jobs the right way. Well, at least all of the ones that he had came into contact with. Which probably is why he doesnt get along that well with them, especially Asari Scientists. For some reason he just gave off this Vibe that Scientists should disect him, or make some comments based around that.
His Green eyes opened, and he started to speak," Thats understandable, the only one you could really find for sure would be our Pilot. But thats because she essentially lives in the c**k Pit. So if you need to check up on her at any point thats where shed be...Unless someones kicked her out of her chair....I hope not though." He blinked a few times, watching her extract the bullets from them. And then he shook his head, but let out a small sigh. And said softly," Actually...I do have a few bullet wounds in my side and a large gash right here." He put a hand over his shoulder and closed his eyes," One of the cloaked Cerberus soldiers stabbed me a while back.... "

The woman's vitals were stable. She would unconscious for the time being but at least she was given a chance at recovery. It was shorter with bouts of pain no doubt. This was one more person the crew did not lose today. Uda did not know she would be able to handle losing another man or woman to Cerebus after the fact.
However, she suspected this patient had no choice in the matter. What his reasons were, the best she could do was check his wounds before the commander decided to ambush her. Walking over to the the young man, the doctor bandages in hand with the hope she would let her treat these injuries just this once.
"Hold still." Uda began pulling out the projectiles lodged in the entry points. He was either lucky or had a high threshold for pain. Either way, these were getting treated. "How many did you take out before reaching the elevator?"

Post Number: 9 Gwenmade her way to the med-bay slowly as she did a visual check of internal damage to the ship for Ally. As they had reached the proximity of the relay a massive hit had decommissioned Demon temporarily. The casualties were high and the damage extensive. Luckily with Ally at the helm they had everything on board to do all the repairs. As they spoke the pilot was manually tasking the ships drones to work outside to seal up all the air leaks while also taking stock of the damage. The last time she had tried to reach Ally on the comm she had gotten an ear load of creative cursing.
As Gwen headed towards the ladder for the third level she came across one of the engineers. Blood seeped from a head wound that probably happened when the ship got hit. He was out for the count but still alive. Sighing she bent down and placed him over her left shoulder. Standing she made her way over and up the ladder. As she reached level three and readjusted her grip she could feel her stitches rip out. “Son of a b***h” she grumbled as she walked into the med-bay.
She noticed Uda treating Ethan on a table as well as multiple other crew mates in various states of damage. Moving of to the left she gently placed the engineer in a seat. “Hey doc. Found another one for you. Looks like a simple head wound, nothing life threatening” she commented as she walked over to them.
“Hey Ethan, looks like you weren’t fast enough” she chuckled, nodding at him in good nature.
The sound of a throat clearing behind them made her smile. “Finally awake eh Captain. Ready to let the med-bay have the space? I think others need it more” she teased. She more then most knew Oni possessed a strong strength of will that wouldn’t keep him down. As she visually accessed him she could see that he had been patched up but would need some time to fully heal. But it was nothing extreme by the looks of it. As she was about to say something else, Ally cut in across the med-bay comms.
“Oy Uda, there is more medi-gel and supplies down in the cargo bay. I noticed you logged needing more in the system, someone should be bringing them up soon. I took the privilege on over stocking on the last shore leave. This crew seems to find more trouble then not” Ally commented. “I mean, I just had my baby re-kited out, and now look at her…anywho I got work to do.”
Gwen cut a look at Oni and sighed. “You better go see her, you’re the one that seems to speak Zero’s language best. We are going to need her once the ship is repaired enough.”
With that Gwen walked over the to sink and removed her vest and peeled off her shirt. The material was caked with blood, a mix of hers and the enemies. Dropping the shirt in the garbage she glanced at her appearance in the mirror above the sink and laughed. Her blue eyes glowed as she mused thoughts of looking like the walking dead. Turning the faucet one she began inspecting and cleaning her wounds again. Preparing them for a fresh batch of stitches. Anyone looking would be distracted by the multitude of old surgical scars that ran along her spine instead of the flesh she exposed.

"Take it the rest of the crew convinced you to not drag them here, Gwen?" she began. "First Corina and now the rest of them. I hope I do not have to activate the isolation protocols in the next few weeks."
Uda could hear the door slide open for the hundred time during her shift. It was no secret there were others on this who need her attention. The few beds available would be occupied for a few hours at the minimum. The commander took a few bullet as well as injuries acquired during the fight following the boarding of the ship but he would be up soon enough. Placing the bandage on Ethan's head, the doctor suspected it was Gwen considering no one has been contacted Ally for her check up. Between their helmsmen and Corina, it would be a challenge.
Stepping away from her latest patient, she watched Gwen set one of the engineers on the last spared bed that could be offered. She barely had time to reach the sink herself seeing the young woman literally cleaning herself up with busted stitches of all things. If Corina thought she could withstand bleeding to death in the Q.E.C., it was clear their crew truly did have a habit of finding trouble.
The doctor threw her blood stained gloves into the trash can before putting another pair. It would be a miracle if they reach their destination in one piece as far as individuals went. Bandaging the man's head, a part of her could only they no one over reacted to this. Then again, she was grateful for the extra supplies.
"Thank goodness." Uda took a deep breath before applying medigel to the man's head. It would take a few hours but it would not be serious. "I would like for you to stay here, though. You need new stitches."

Daniel's headache was finally making way for clear headed thought when Gwen arrived and absent mindedly passed by without a single acknowledgement before he cleared his throat.
“Finally awake eh Captain. Ready to let the med-bay have the space? I think others need it more” She stated; far too happily for his current state of mind. "Yeah; we have far too many bodies and not enough caskets." He spat under his breath. His usually chatty and playful demeanour effectively buried under their recent and heavy losses. He recalled Zahk and his conversations fondly and could only hope the other medical crew recovered.. He didn't want to say goodbye to more friends today.. hell; they haven't even left the system yet and Cerberus was doing clean up.. He knew they were lucky just to find survivors let alone capable ones. Still, a friendly alliance face never hurt and the other one.. Corina. She reminded him of someone; someone he couldn't quite place.
“You better go see her, you’re the one that seems to speak Zero’s language best. We are going to need her once the ship is repaired enough.” Gwen continued. "Yeah; it's time to make a better plan.." he ceded with a pause. Sighing before continuing. "When you're all done fighting some of the inevitable I need you all in the War Room." He stated simply before shrugging off one of the volunteering medical staff that were trying to force him down again. "And Doc, thanks for the help. They can't fight if they're dead." His point stated and the smell beginning to make him sick he turned and left the abundantly overfilled med-bay. They had supplies, they had people but they definitely did not have enough room. Too many were wounded and too many were dying. They needed to leave the system but where would be the question.. In the many hours since the chaos began he's been steadily receiving reports of mass assaults all across council space; even the weakest council races were being annihilated. Some.. were already wiped out entirely; all formerly available signals unreachable. 'Static again..' In retrospect, he knew it was a bad idea to stay in the first place and most of his friends deaths were on him but now he had no choice.. no option. They had to regroup and fight on another front or face suicide. First though the pilot and repairs needed to be attended to. Chances are Zero would be quite angry about the damage his reckless planning has caused the Demon.
The brown haired male simply closed his eyes as he sat down onto the table, letting her deal with the bullets that were inside of his body without much of any complaints. Mostly because he felt bad that with everything going on, the Doctor was wasting her time helping him. If she looked at his side, shed notice probably about 5 more holes where bullets once where, and he slowly muttered," A few. " Without much of a wince, his pain threshold must indeed be pretty high, not that anyone would know why but the Asari werent the nicest of Scientists, so if he is ever asked theyd probably get a ' Im used to feeling Pain' response, but probably in a more vague and confusing phrasing.
Ethans eyes opened as a familar voice appeared in the area, his green eyes looked around the room before finding Gwen and he couldnt help but shake his head and say," You should see the other guy...or you would if he hadnt gotten essentially vaporized. I got to take some of the cereberus stealth gear though..... " He then looked to the figure she had sat down in the Med Bay, and blinked."Looks like Im not the only one who was finding injured people and bringing them in." He watched Gwen at least until she peeled her shirt off, his eyes darted away. And brought a small twitch from him as doing so caused his head to ache. Moved a little too fast to escape the sight of his crew mate. But, he did notice the scars that had been on her body. Everyone had scars, but those were surgical...Had she been experimented on as well?
That was when the Commander came too, the brown haired male climbed off the table and began to sneakingly get dressed. As if not wanting to be more of a burden on the main Doctor that the Demon had on board, and snapped his armor back onto his chest. Before bowing his head," Thanks. Im going to go rest elsewhere, let someone who needs the space have it." Before trying to make his escape out of the Med Bay, this was his least favorite part of the ship after all.
