Well that escalated quickly as the knee found its home right into Ryuu's chest causing him to falter a bit off to the side, collapsing to a knee as his free hand went to the area struck with a cough. It was worth noting that his hand was still clasped to Alastor's .. now seeming like he was tethered in the meantime until he could mount some sort of retaliation.

This man simply wouldn't let go of Alastor's hand, one could say he had a deadman's grip with it being clamped down. Regardless, this just meant more for Alastor to capitalize on, with Ryuu falling into a crumple state from his knee, The Noble Jaguar attempted to wrap his leg around Ryuu's locked arm, and twist attempting an armbreaker.

If that didn't get him to release his grip on Alastor's hand, nothing would. A sharp pain would jolt from the impacted area right up his arm and actually a bit into his left trap as he recoiled his arm and held it to himself, rolling away to put some distance between himself and the hungry opposition. He tried to shake the arm out just a bit, biting down on his bottom lip as he went to use the ropes to get himself back to a stand ..

Getting up from the armbreaker, and Ryuu's escape from it. Alastor kipped up, and started clapping to get the audience pumped. It was too quiet, though it was probably due to it being absolutely freezing outside. Winding his arm up and shaking his wrist, he got the sensation back into it from Ryuu's death grip.
Ryuu had a target on his arm now, he made it obvious. The old Alastor back in his Velocity days would've gone out of his way to make that arm useless by the time the match was over, even training the Clepsydra clan children to think like that. Certainly being the guy to put Ryuu out of commission would look good on his resume
but...
He was here to put on a show, not a disaster flick. "Ikuze!' he spoke motioning to his opponent, they were two showy stars and it was time for them to outshine the entire roster with this match.

It was a rare sight that an opponent would let up on an obvious target such as an arm or a leg. Ryuu respected it, no doubt .. but if the tables had been turned, one couldn't be too sure that Ryuu would have given his opponent a pass so easy.
But if anyone knew about entertaining and outshining, it was Sakamoto himself. Getting back to his feet, Ryuu rang out that arm once again. Cautiously eyeing Alastor, Ryuu circled up once again with the opponent before eventually looking to lock up with his opponent once more, cinching in for a collar and elbow tie-up!

A collar and elbow tie up, with Ryuu's arm weakened the advantage would go to Alastor, even without taking advantage of it. However, remembering what happened the two locked up, Alastor had other plans..
Being the moment the lock up was in, he'd attempt to drive a knee into the gut of Ryuu.

Smart move on Alastor's part to avoid repeating history as that knee drove into Ryuu's midsection, causing him to double over with a grimace ..

Attempting to lock in the downed Ryuu in a double arm hold, if successful the Nobel Jaguar would attempt to strike the Sexy Strong Stylist rapidly in the chest with knee strikes.

Stuffed down momentarily, Ryuu cringed as a couple of those knee strikes found home in his chest, body jolting upward a bit after each one. Taking too many of those was hazardous and his response was to charge forward, attempting to sandwich Alastor into the corner behind him. If he could take some wind out of him, it'd buy Ryuu a moment of separation.

The momentum of Ryuu's charge did indeed send Alastor into the corner, and the turnbuckle to the back was quite painful to say the least but not enough to have his grip broken, Ryuu had a death grip on him prior. Alastor didn't quite have death grip that Ryuu had, but he did have leverage, and Ryuu in an underhook hold.
"Not enough...' the Nobel Jaguar exclaimed as he attempted to prop his feet onto the ropes, to climb the turnbuckle with Ryuu still in tow.

Sure Alastor managed to hold onto those double underhooks. But the idea of him raising his center of gravity off of the mat allowed Ryuu to get lower and essentially made it easier for Sakamoto to counter at this point. While Alastor stood onto the ropes, Ryuu grit his teeth and attempted stand upright, looking to flip the Jaguar forward onto his back as he went to bridge for a quick pinning attempt. If successful, Alastor would have to choose between getting pinned, or releasing the hold.

Alastor wasn't entirely sure how Ryuu got him in a pinning predicament, but for an entertainer it must be so. Somehow the pinning predicament happened, Alastor's foot was on the ropes nullifying the pin but out of respect for Ryuu he'd break the pin... But respect could only go so far, and he twisted his body slightly or rather the hold he was in giving swift turn to Ryuu's arms!

( When you say underhook I'm thinking of the double underhook used to set up a Tiger Driver or Pedigree. All Ryuu did was backbody drop him into a bridge pin for a counter. )
Alastor managed to do the minimum to break the count, which played into his advantage as it meant he could save some energy. The snow on the canvas was making it tough for Ryuu to maintain the bridge anyhow as his footing was beginning to slip on it. Sakamoto from here attempted to move into a more advantageous position, looking to roll over backward into the full mount position on his already grounded opponent.

((Didn't look right in my head, that's all. It might be logical but it's fine))
Letting go of Ryuu, Alastor slowed his breathing down. It was a high paced match, and there was significant damage done to both of Ryuu's arms now. Given the cold weather, Alastor took a deep breath and slowly exhaled until his heartbeat was next to nothing. Make Ryuu exert himself more than possible, the smarter man was the one who was able to have the energy to continue.

Weather was becoming a bigger factor in the match the longer it went. Gritting his teeth, he began to seethe a bit, not so much out of anger but because he sought to keep his airways as warm as possible. In the dominant position now, Ryuu had his weight firmly sat over Alastor's chest. He'd learned to take his time in maintaining this position as he looked to batter a brutal elbow shot into the opponent's forehead!
