Fer Costas The kid sure was stubborn when it came to calling himself a knight, even a knight in training. Maybe the boy wanted to be a knight at one point in life but wasn't cut out for it? There were probably a myriad of reasons that the boy could have been adamant about calling himself a knight, but that didn't really matter in the long run because Fer didn't really believe it despite the pleading the boy had done. Fer took a seat curiously when the Bartender boy asked him to do so. He sat in an Indian style, not entirely sure what he should be expecting.
The boy began to lift Fers shirt, and Fer twitched oddly... he wasn't used to being touched. He realized he had a wound but he wasn't sure if he wasn't moving due to shock of someone touching him, or if it was because he expected the bartender boy to wrap up his cut. The boy tightly wrapped cloth with an ointment around him. Fer shyly put his shirt down when all was over and done with. The cloth was obviously visible under the tight fit of his shirt. Fer took a deep breath and let out a relieved sigh. He stood as the boy gathered his things and set off with the horse whom had returned from the depths of the darkened woods.
Fer stay silent, deciding not to make any mention to the bartenders comment of him insisting on coming. The band of three made their way into the cave that weaved its way under a waterfall and into the mountain. There was one spot of the cave that had a section broken away that gave view to the forest. The deep ambient sound of the waterfall crashing upon the earlier sections of the cave. The sound echoed throughout the halls of the cave and made for a very beautiful sound to listen to. It was relaxing upon the ears and to the mind.
The bartender stopped upon the ashes and remnants of travelers past. She started a small fire and set himself up with an iron stand and a bunch of items used to make food. Fer wasn't sure exactly what he was trying to make but he didn't feel like it smelled all that delicious or enticing anyway. Sitting back and relaxing to the sound of the distant waterfall, Fer leaned back against the wall and stretched out his body while the boy continued to make an attempt at cooking. Fer closed his eyes and listened closely to the environment while trying to push focus away from the throbbing of the cut on his abdomen.
Fer opened an eye when the sound of his name being said reached his ears. "Hm?" He questioned himself. "Connor Erabus, hmmm,,,the baby knight. Sounds kind of fitting." Fer lightly chuckled at his comment. "You want to know life in the village is really like? I thought you lived in the village, why is that a question you'd have to ask me? Shouldn't you know that answer for yourself?" Fer sat up and opened his other eye finally. He stared at the boy for a bit like he had just heard the strangest question in the world.
"I guess i can give you my opinion on the village... i guess. The village is a village like any other, its got its good places and its bad, its got its bright characters and its shady." He shrugged a bit then continued. "There are problems though. the poverty is an unnecessary poverty. More of those people were born into being poor that wish they weren't, then i think you could imagine." He looked up at the formations of the ceiling. "To put it simply, the Royals sit upon their lavish thrones where as the normal people live and die trying to keep themselves in a comfortable state."

◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ Kara Elexion: Princess of Eukasia OOC;; She frowned when he made that smart-aleck remark of Connor being a baby knight, but ignored it slightly as she then mumbled: "I can only go out at nighttime, I have duties during the day so I can only come in during the night...hence why people only see me at the bar...some already assume I am some forest boy." She chuckles at that as well before giving a sad sigh: "Unfortunately, realities a b***h...." She then took a look at her pale, almost feminine hand as she felt bad being a royal while others had to work....it just seemed.....unfair like he said.
"If we let the Queen rule, then it will become much worse. That is why I need to find the rings, because the Queen plans to assassinate the Princess & the King in order to get the throne and have everything she wants. I had to put the Princess in hiding, that was when she told me how she got you to steal the rings since she refused to marry. Now the rings are our only hope to make things better. I may be lecturing for no ********' reason, but I want the kingdom to be better than it was.....so that the ones I see will end up having a fair chance in life and not be stuck to poverty because of stupid nobles. I just want to hear what everyone thinks so I fully understand what's going on."
"I may be a baby knight, but I am not letting the place I grew up in go up in flames from greed."
She then starts serving the soup into two bowls, she first tries the soup with her spoon to test-taste the thing and sees that now she made it perfect. She made sure that each of them had enough vegetables in their soup before giving Fer his soup & his own spoon. "This is my first time making it, so....hope it's bearable." She then starts eating hers since she didn't have any breakfast, and she was dead hungry. "I normally don't cook...well..knights don't normally cook. I only know how to fish and grill them...This is the first time making soup with natural ingredients..." She then starts feeding the extra vegetables that she didn't use to her horse as it's food, since they don't have Hay or Foddler as of yet for her friend.....She felt bad for leaving her horse with no food, so alas Midnight was fed Vegetables. "If I remember right...E-Clair is the closest town from here....not to mention they have a path to get close to the border. I haven't traveled much...unfortunately I didn't have that much money like everybody else." ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ Artist of the fallen snow

Fer Costas "Oh please." he said with a slightly annoyed tone. He sat and stared at the soup curiously, unsure if he really wanted to eat it or not. He didnt find the look of it too appealing. "Not having money never stopped me from doing what i wanted..." there was an awkward silence following his statement. Fer was thinking long and hard about the possibility of the princess and the kings life being threatened and the other possibility of war breaking out. There was so much that this boy seemed worried about.
It was true Darnvia and Eukasia were always on edge with each other, but it never seemed like it would break out into a full fledged war. When you were a thief, your everyday problems were a bit different, hell maybe a war could provide with some amazing pillaging opportunities. However this whole huge convoluted story seemed a little far fetched to completely believe, so Fer still had a reasonable amount of doubt within the subject. War, and mutiny seemed all too common throughout the world, but on the outside of Eukasia, it didn't seem anywhere close.
"Personally, the problems of Eukasia, are your problems aren't they? That place matters to me no more. Maybe if you knights took better care of the place there wouldn't be such internal trouble." He sat oddly sulking and still looking at the soup. "Im staying with you until you get to e-clair, then im gone. Saving your life was the first and last thing i do for Eukasia..." Fer stood looking away from the boy and he looked longingly at the view of the forest from the opening in the wall.
"Forest boy, knight, royal yourself, I don't give a damn about what you really are." Fer lifted his shirt and pulled the cloth off from around his wound. The bleeding had stopped so it was better for his movement to have it off. He dropped the cloth to the ground and leaned himself against the opening of the wall. "Sorry to bad mouth the place, but it never really did me any good to sweet talk the place either. " He turned to the boy and gave him a stern look. "Whether it stands to live for another hundred years, or it burns down violently to the ground tomorrow..i wont be around to watch,"

◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ Kara Elexion: Princess of Eukasia OOC;; She nods as she then just decides to put the soup in an iron container which would keep the soup's freshness and it will be protected from dirt. She nods as she then just packs up, getting ready to travel once more. She shrugs as she heard his response about it being terrible for Eukasia in general. She did need to get them and finish off the queen before Darnvia dared to think of invading. Connor then sighs: "I then must thank you for taking me this far. Once at E-clair, I will try to get some supplies that the thieves have stolen from me and everything will be taken care of from there." She chuckles a little as she then takes the rope around her hand so she can control the horse while he would ride her. "It will probably take until sunset to reach the town...by walking anyways."
Connor couldn't help but look back at the kingdom one last time, no longer be able to get the luxury until she fixed the problem she created. She was now out alone for a VERY long time with very little money in her pocket. Hopefully enough for a hotel tonight. As she walks down the path, almost at the exit, she couldn't help but feel some anxiety within her. A sort of feeling she got once and that was when the marriage ceremony was being planned. She sighs as the bright light of the afternoon sun now reached onto the two adventurers that have a goal on getting things fixed. One was a royal, a princess [unknown to the boy though], while the other is a thief who lived on the streets, a temporary comrade until E-Clair is reached.
Connor wasn't thinking when she all the sudden stepped on deep mud on one foot, letting out a small yelp as her foot and lower leg went through the mud, leaving her barely hanging onto the robe around Midnight and her hand now a little scraped. She gets back up immediately and keeps on walking...but now her left leg was covered in mud. Great, now she has to pay to get them cleaned...or somewhat. She squints in annoyance as every-time she took a step, a 'squish' sound can be heard. So after many squishes, they finally made it to a hotel. And thank god, the stables are free. So she then gets the horse at the stable but not before eyeing the thief. "Thanks for accompanying me. May your life be changed for the better." She then shakes his hand, not realizing her hand was a little softer than normal before reaching the hotel.
When she gets in, she was lucky to get a good room, with a nice bathroom. She then gets upstairs to then decide to wash her clothing. She leaves the other clothes hanging on the hanger in the bathroom as now she can only do is take a nice bath with the door locked. She does a soft sigh as the hot water soothed her sore body. She now has to think about what to do tomorrow and also what is the best thing to buy
After a long bath, she washes most of the mud on the pants leg as she was stuck with wearing linening that only went to her knee and also a long-sleeved, collared shirt that hung down all the way to her butt....almost like a dress. But she knows men have shirts that long so she wasn't worried about it], With her night clothes only being the ones over her 'commoner' clothing, She came out of the bathroom with her hair somewhat wet and her eyes showing that she was exhausted. A small towel was wrapped around her neck so her short hair won't soak her back by getting the white shirt wet. She yawns a little. She lays her back on the bed in the room as she was just ready to get some sleep....the walk took a toll on her. Her legs and feet were sore and throbbed every second when they did not move. She sighs and then lays on her side, getting the covers over her.

"You mean she left?"
"My condolence, I last saw her this morning. She was last seen going to her room. When I entered, her clothing was spread in the room with a door open."
The queen muttered those words, repeating them inside her head before replying back: "She does not have such a strength to do so. So this is a kidnapping." She bites her nails a bit, not even knowing that Kara actually took knights training as a child in secret [only her father knew]. "The King is gone and now so is my daughter. Why is this happening?" Before she could answer herself, the maid......who told the madame her opinion spoke again:
"I only heard rumors, but I know Darnvia planned to invade our territory to gain control of more land. Do you think that maybe-?"
"-Must be an attempted kidnapping for ransom!" The queen retorted, standing up immediately. "Fetch the general!" She ordered in an instant, and as soon as the maid took off, the man then appeared from the darkness. "Is it really true that dumb individuals from Darnvia would dare come through here without being caught?" His dark voice mimicked Satan as he flashes his white pearls from his mouth. The queen stood there silent, as if in a trance before responding: "Your right, maybe she has escaped, figuring out that we planned an 'untimely' fate. Her father met his, now it's time for her to meet fate itself. She should be easy to find, go fetch her." The man cackled before letting darkness consume him.

That was hours ago, according to the assassin's mind. He had found a few men who witnessed someone with the princess' description leaving to go to a town called E-clair. He knew that town wasn't far if the horse cantered all the way so he did just that, reaching it in the virgin night. He knew he would have to go check at every place, but it would seem suspicious...especially the escapee princess.
So upon reaching it, he sees a man with white hair and blood eyes walking away from E-clair, maybe he knew something. So the assassin made his way toward the man, not knowing his name was Fer Costa or the fact he was the thief who stole the rings. "My good man." He then steps out of the horse and then shows a flyer with the picture of the princess. "The princess has gone missing and I have been ordered to retrieve her...do you have a slight hint of her presence?" ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ Artist of the fallen snow
