Madoka blushed at Iris's comment not knowing what to say. When Darren asked a question she quickly glanced at his mark and back to him. What are we gonna do about this mark? She thought to herself. She stayed quiet when Iris explained everything. She glanced at Mahogany wondering if Darren was gonna tell him. She sighed when Mahogany called himself a monster. "Your not an abomination. Your unique and no one seems to notice that. Just because your different doesn't mean your a monster." She said smiling at him. She stayed quiet while Iris talked about her weapons. She already explained hers so there was not need for Madoka to explain them again.

Mahogany let their words go through his head. You're my friend, to the very end. Just because you're different doesn't mean you are a monster. It confused him a lot more. He didn't know how to cope with this. He thought of a way to fix it, to make everything go back to normal. His mind stayed blank trying to find an answer. There...was no answer to this. It was so unexpected. "B-but I insulted you...tried to hurt you...I don't get it...I don't get it..." He said and shook his head but slowly the blanket slid away. And the girls could get a real look at him for the first time. His ears, his tail, his hair, his eyes. "Why are you trying to be friends with me...being friends means trusting...and then getting that trust abused..." He said, still panicking.
