 Kilian shook his head as some of the others bumped into Divya. How could they be so clumsy at a time like this! The eevee surveyed the area while he followed his leader. He was quite bored since he lacked doing much thus far but at the same time.... He was overheating a little bit but he'd never admit it.. He looked to the others and noticed some looked rather tired. Kilian looked over to Divya and politely asked, "Do you think we could take a break? I-we all seem a bit tired."

He didn't notice right away that Idan had joined up with them again, having been too focused in following Divya. Fravashi made a point of not bumping into the fiery lady, though he didn't want to be too far to miss any action should it occur! Glancing over his shoulder to see how the others were fairing, he was mildly surprised to see Idan.
"... Huh. Not as weak as I thought." He muttered, tail twitching and nose wrinkling.
The houndour was careful of the falling rocks as he padded along the hot ground - not that it bothered him too much. It was a little warmer than he usually liked, but nothing too extreme.
And this was boring.
Weren't they supposed to be looking for something and fighting off enemies to achieve it? Do something cool like that to brag about later?
Easing back just a little, Faravashi looked ahead and behind him. Then lowered his nose to the ground like he was sniffing something, moving steadily more to the side. And when he was sure no one was looking, the houndour broke from the group. Screw that! He'd find his own path and prove he was just as competent as Divya!

Fizzle didn't mind walking. With how many times he'd been in the dungeon on his own, he was getting very used to walking around and keeping to himself. So he was comfortable hanging out in the back with the other confused members of the team, wondering where they were heading.
Really, though, he wanted to do more. He was a little annoyed at the slow pace, and being tolerant only lasted him so long when he was a young fire type brimming with energy.
It seemed like he wasn't the only one getting a little stir-crazy.
Then, a young Eevee asked if it would be alright to sit for a moment, and the young charmander was faced with a decision. Move on ahead on his own, or wait with the group. While it did seem like striking out on his own would yield more reward, he didn't want to abandon the opportunity to get to know more explorers.
"A sit does sound nice," he offered lightly, "if it's not going to get in the way of things too much."

"Oh, thank you!" Brynd said with a smile as he was given more water. He was not going to complain about that! He was more than happy to take what help he could get, considering his type disadvantage here. And his general aversion to burning to death.
After what seemed like an eternity of walking, the bulbasaur heaved a sigh.
"I definitely think a break might be a good thing," he said with a grunt, though he was not sure anyone was listening. He watched someone else darting off, though he frowned and did not think that was the best idea.

[ a ] - You get tired of walking and ask if you could sit down for a while.
Zoë was tired. Although she didn't like to be vocal about her feelings and opinions, she was tempted to ask for a break, as she couldn't handle the heat— but thankfully, the other pokemon around her spoke instead of her. She agreed with the others, but did not voice her opinion. Instead she looked at the others, nodding her head fiercely and then looked to the heads of the group, pleading for a break.

Naka trotted along, looking at the cave around them. There sure was a lot less pokemon than the other times he'd come in here, though the rocks falling probably explained that. That hadn't happened when he was in here before. As he looked around, he spotted his teammate Jubilee and his face broke into a grin. "Hey Jubilee! Good to see you! I didn't know you were coming, too," he said, eagerly waving to the Togepi. He dropped back a bit to march along with his buddy. [c]

Jubilee was considering moving up in the group, but she slashed the idea out of her mind when she spotted Naka coming her way. "Hi Naka!" The togepi greeted back with obvious enthusiasm. He skipped a bit for a few steps, "It's great to see you here!" she sang, "This expedition is already off to a great start, huh?' [c]

You get annoyed that you haven't done anything but walk for a while, and break off while the group isn't looking.
All this walking was getting on Fetcher nerves! He wanted To do something! Like Fighting! Or Battling! Yeah that sound fun! Anything but this carp! He saw an opening to leave and go find some fun and he took it!
(What are you doing Fetcher! You are going to get hurt LOL)

Pleased to see the guy perking back up, Runi gave him a happy little smile and a delighted thank you for the additional water.
continuing on with the group, he looked amongst the others, and kept a vigilant eye on the falling rocks, and the bubbling lava. a break did sound nice... but this didn't seem like the place to do it.

 Scout madly fluttered through the caves to catch up to the group in front of him. He wasn't exactly sure how he missed the whole herd of Pokemon heading into the mountain, but he did.
It was a bit insulting to his name!
The small pidgey looked around the group and the surrounding dangers. Was this really such a good idea? Plus, what was going on anyway? Clearly he missed something important.(c)

The heat rapidly reaches levels only Fire types would find comfortable. If it weren't for those vials of water, you'd be boiling, and even within the protective barrier, condensation forms on its walls as it grows increasingly humid. Calling your discomfort to Divya's attention only earns you a glare. "We've got to keep moving. Do you really think a break -- especially in here -- is going to make anyone feel better?" To the team members lagging behind, she barks, "Hurry it up, rookies! We don't have time for Skitty-footing around!"
It seems odd that Divya, of all Pokemon, would chastise anyone for laziness. Her slothful nature is legendary, after all. It's almost as if she's decided that if she has to be responsible, so do you, and the sooner you find some treasure, the sooner she can go back to lazing around the guild. When the Flareon's tail flares like the lava bubbling around her, you feel disinclined to argue.
That is, unless you decide to find your own way. Idan is about to speak up, maybe even convince Divya to let everyone rest, when he notices two Pokemon breaking off from the group. "Hey!" He yelps. "Where are you going? It's dangerous!"
You run from the main path, Idan at your heels. The ground trembles. Ahead of you, there's a long sloping tunnel, and you bound through it, Idan's calls echoing wildly off the cracked stone walled all around you.
"Follow them." Divya mutters to remaining half of the group.
At the other end of the tunnel is an outcropping of rock hanging over a boiling lake of lava. There's another platform within jumping distance, followed by several smaller ones. Altogether they make a broken path to the other side, where you can see stairs leading up to the next floor.
To the east side of the lava lake is an isolated island. Oddly enough, flowers seem to bloom from the broiling soil, but their petals flicker and shift like fragments of flame. Divya's eyes light up when she sees them.
When you look back to the platforms, there's a tiny blue light hovering on its own. That's strange. It wasn't there earlier...
"It's probably just the steam." Idan says warily, following your gaze. "Or, well... I don't know... that thing looks suspicious..."
Choice:
[a] Jump across the platforms to reach the stairs.
Go to the island to get the fire flowers.
[c] Examine the blue light.

After getting lectured for a bit, Zoë sighed. She felt a bit guilty now— it was true, even if they stopped, everyone would be dying of heat. The small gothita pursed her lips and followed the rest of the group, trailing a little behind the rest but not too far that she broke off from the rest. Looking at the three branching choices ahead of the fairly large group, the shy pokemon sighed. The stairs seemed like the more logical option... But Zoë saw the glimmer of want in Divya's eyes when she saw the fire flower. Wanting to make it up to the flareon, Zoë quickly walked tot he closest she could get to it, it and instead of jumping over or touching the flower, she focused and used a weak telekinetic force to try and bring it over.
(I'm pretty sure this is the wrong choice but Zoë really wants to make it up to her!! x) )

He happened to glance over his shoulder, noticing another pokemon growing bored of following the flareon as well. He snorted, flashing a grin towards Fetcher, before turning his attention to the new path. Nose wrinkling, Fravashi picked up the pace, sniffing around until he heard Idan's voice. "Whoops~" The houndour didn't spare a glance back again and took off, not really knowing where he was going but he was going this way. Even if the ground was trembling under his paws.
See? This was totally more fun and badass!
When he emerged from the tunnel, Fravashi slowed to a halt, ears upright as he took in the new space around them. Stairs across the lava lake. Something that looked suspiciously like flowers off to the side. And a glowy thing-
"What the heck?!" That had not been there before! Fravashi glanced at Idan, a look of doubt on his face. "Steam? I dunno, mate." He looked back towards the light, ears twitching as he debated on what to do next.
With a little more caution to his step, Fravashi moved forward to examine the strange blue light. It was bound to be more interesting thing some flowers.
