☽~☾ Kyo ☽~☾ Kyoya was beginning to grow impatient by the time that Del finally emerged from the bathroom. He noted how she purposefully avoided him, but he took the chance to look at her amazing body once more. He was glad of his choice of undergarments, liking how the blue lace fit her perfectly. The white silk robe was a nice match and when she picked out a lotion that she liked, he smiled. "That one is my favorite." Kyo grabbed the bottle of lotion from her and set it down on the edge of the dresser which they were in front of. He began to slide her robe off of her shoulders from behind, kissing the tender skin of her shoulders and neck. Once the robe was off, he tossed it to the side and then put lotion on his hands. He began to rub her back with the lotion, massaging her gently. He took his time, making sure to gently work every muscle and make sure every inch of skin had lotion on it. He even went under her bra strap, but knew that she wouldn't mind it. Once he was done with her back, he did her arms, moving in closer so that his breath tickled her neck. Finished with her arms, Kyo moved on to her torso. He got more lotion and rubbed it sensually over her stomach. He began to kiss her neck, nipping at it gently while his hand dipped low. His fingers just barely brushed the inside of her panties before he pulled back up. He did the same with her breast line, wanting to tease her slightly while being sensual. He took his time with her torso, wanting every touch to be remembered. After he was done with her torso, he moved onto her chest, moving to the other side of her neck to tease. Finally, he had her sit down so he could do her legs. He kissed along the length of them before he lotioned them up. He massaged her legs gently like he had her back and once he was done, he slid between her legs while kneeling. He was just an inch taller than her while kneeling and he wrapped his arms around her before his lips found hers. He kissed her sweetly and gently for a few minutes before he pulled away and looked into her eyes. "Welcome to your new home."Out. Of. Choices:

Ðelmar Delmar stood still as he came over to her, a bit confused as to what he was doing. When he took the lotion from her and gently began to rub it into her neck and shoulders, standing behind her, she smiled a bit and let herself relax some. His hands were large and felt good against her muscles, tight from nerves and strain. Her eyes fell shut while he worked, letting him do as he would, but always making sure she was aware enough in case he decided to try anything funny. When he slipped his hands down, she opened her mouth to object even as a shiver went through her, but he pulled away before she had the chance to say anything. So the mermaid relaxed again, realizing this was to tease her and maybe make her feel good as well, and let herself not worry about what he was going to do for once. It was soothing and something no one had ever done for her before. And while there was certainly a sensual thing to it, it felt more soothing than anything else. By the time he had her sit down, she felt like she was going to melt anyway and was more than happy to do so.
Watching him as he massaged her legs, she was curious about him. Why he was doing it, why he wanted her in the first place, why he wanted a slave when he could most likely have any woman he wanted - plenty of things that she wanted to ask him and thought about. But Delmar didn't want to spoil the peaceful moment with a potentially-hurtful question, so she stayed silent. Her eyes widened slightly when he moved between her legs and put his arms around her like he did. Finding him kissing her, she melted against him, her arms going around his shoulders as she leaned into him. The soft lace of her bra rubbed against his chest as she moved a bit against him, her cheeks flushed by the time he pulled away.
"That's an interesting way to welcome someone to their new home," she murmured after a moment of looking at him. There was a faint smile on her lips, as if she were privy to a joke only she knew. "Not that I'm going to complain, mind you." She felt more relaxed than she had been since they had met and she was practically putty in his paws at the moment, relaxed against him. Delmar leaned forward and gave him another slow kiss, savoring the moment.

☽~☾ Kyo ☽~☾ Kyoya closed his eyes, holding Delmar gently against him as they kissed slowly. He enjoyed the feel of Delmar against him and was again glad that he had picked out the undergarments that had for Del. They fit her well and he liked the way they felt against his chest, even if he did have a shirt on. He ran his fingertips over the skin exposed on her back and continued the kiss for a few minutes before he pulled away and looked at her. His arms were still around her and he liked how the faint smell of lilacs filled the air. "I wanted to make you happy and comfortable so I arranged all of this for you. I noticed how many bottles of lotion you had on your nightstand back at the hotel and I figured that you would like it if I pampered you like this. I can do this for you every once in awhile if you like." Kyo brushed Del's hair away from her neck and then kissed along her jawline. He nuzzled against her neck and then looked up at her. "I want to make you happy."
Kyo kissed her neck gently and then lifted his head until he was face to face with Del once more. He could only imagined what Del was thinking and looking into her eyes almost relieved some of her thoughts. He had known what it was like to wonder about his future and why he had been chosen for something. After a moment, Kyo cleared his throat in order to speak. "Del, I haven't explained everything of my past and I will with you soon, but I can understand a little about what you might be feeling. I wanted to take you home because you remind me a little of myself and I know what it's like to wonder 'why me?'. I don't like seeing people caged up and I figured a life with me would be better than a life in that hotel. There's something about you that I can explain, but it makes me drawn to you and not because you're a mermaid and I'm a cat. It's something else." Kyo caressed her cheek and looked into her eyes sincerely. He wasn't lying about feeling drawn to her and he was hoping that she would understand what he was trying to say.Out. Of. Choices:

Ðelmar Oddly enough, she felt more comfortable like this, half-naked and kissing him, than she had in plenty of other places. Even when she was trying to get the affections of the man she'd loved, Delmar had always felt awkward and out-of-control, as if being swept along by the tides with no say in what was happening. Here, she felt like she had some control, that she could direct what was going to happen to her, at least a little bit. Perhaps it was foolish of her to think such a thing, but she did anyway and didn't care about the rest of it. She hummed softly as he ran his fingers over her skin, the touch soothing like the rest of it, and looked at him with lidded eyes as he pulled away and talked to her. A faint smile appeared on her lips when he said he'd noticed her lotions - not many people would have, or they would have wondered why she had them at all. Kyo seemed to know why she liked having them and using so many.
Her eyes fell shut for a moment as he nuzzled her neck, leaning into him with a soft sigh. His words, however, made her heart stop in her chest for a moment, though there was no outward sign that anything was wrong at all. She was simply still against him as his lips brushed her neck before he raised his head and continued to talk. I want to make you happy. Those were the words she'd wanted so desperately to hear from him. That, and I love you - a phrase Delmar had decided that no one was ever going to speak to her and she had given up dreaming about it. Instead the best she could hope for was just a kind person who wasn't going to make her do tricks for their benefit and it seemed Kyoya was that sort of person, much to her relief. Though why he was...well, hadn't he just explained some of it? He hadn't seemed the giving type, however, and his words about her reminding him of himself confused her more than anything. Looking into his eyes, though, she knew he wasn't lying and that just confused her more.
So...he hadn't wanted her because she was exotic or beautiful? Not that such a thought insulted or bothered her. Rather, it confused her, as that was what she'd been told was her main attractions. That was what would make someone buy her, the money going to the witch who had stolen her fins from her. Although, one could say she'd lost those on her own, out of stupidity and naivete, though she didn't like to think that. It made her uncomfortable, thinking on how stupid she had been, and maybe still was, so she pretended that it wasn't that at all. Biting her lip, the mermaid looked back at him and thought on what to say. Part of her wanted to revert back to the flirting and teasing - it was what she knew, was more comfortable with. She felt too exposed right now and swallowed, the rising panic obvious in her eyes as he looked at her, though she wasn't aware of that.
"I didn't think you were such a selfless sort of person, Kyoya," she remarked after a few long moments of silence between them. Whatever moment had lingered between them was brutally brushed away, like lingering cobwebs in the corner of a ceiling, and Delmar had a moment of regret. But it was for the best. "But I do like all the lotions, I can't stand my skin feeling dry," she told him with a small smile.

☽~☾ Kyo ☽~☾ Kyoya watched the panic rise in Delmar's eyes and in that moment, he knew that she wasn't ready for that type of kindness yet. She was still far too hurt from her experiences and Kyo knew that he would have to slowly warm her up to the idea of him being kind to her. He didn't mind that she swept away the moment that they had had together because he could always create more moments with her. After a moment, he smirked at her comment. He wasn't as selfless as she thought he was. Kyo leaned in and kissed her sweetly and slowly for a moment before he pulled away. Standing up, he leaned down and kissed her forehead gently before he stood straight. "If you want, you can explore the house. I'll leave you alone so you can get used to your room."
Kyo looked at Del for a moment before smirking and then walking out of the room. He wondered down to the kitchen and got out a can of cat food and brought it over to the small side table. Artemis was waiting patiently, his tail swishing behind him. Kyo grabbed a spoon before he opened the can of cat food and began to feed Artemis. They had made an agreement long ago that he was to be spoiled if Kyo ever left him alone for more than a few hours at a time. Keeping true to his word, Kyo stood there and fed Artemis until the can was empty. He even gave him a small bowl of cat milk before he sat and petted him. "What do you think of her, Arty?" She's not so bad. At least she acknowledged me and gave me attention. You know I can't stand people that ignore me. "Yes I know. I have high hopes for this one. How are your injuries holding up?" Better. I should be able to join you again within the next week. "Good. Keep an eye on her during that time and just make sure that she's comfortable." Of course. "Good cat."
Kyo petted Artemis for a few more minutes before he walked into his room and stripped down. Walking outside, he went straight for the pool. Transforming into his human form, he dived into the deep end of the pool, submerging himself in the warm water. He loved his saltwater pool because it stayed warm year round instead of being frigid like other pools. Once winter hit, he would be transferred to his winter location in a warmer place which was different every time. He would have to talk to Del about that and see if she would be okay with travelling. Kyo rose to the surface and brushed his wet hair back from his face. He really was a sight to behold as he climbed out of the water and was draped in moonlight. He looked up at the moon before he jumped back into the water and started doing laps. After a while, he put his arms on the sides of the pool and rested in the corner, looking up at the stars.

Ðelmar It was something of a relief when he stood up and didn't press her for more. The mermaid gave a soft sigh as she was left alone in the room, suddenly feeling something close to empty. Shaking it off, she got to her feet and put the robe back on, the silk cool against her heated skin. It was short, barely reaching her thighs, revealing her long legs as she padded around the room a bit more to get used to it. There was already a full closet, which surprised her still, and she gave herself more time to go through them and curiously look at them. They were all very pretty, she had to admit, though some of the styles didn't suit her at all. Still, it was the thought that counted, she supposed, thinking about changing and deciding there was no point. It was just her and Kyoya - and his kitty - after all. So there really was no need to bother getting dressed if she didn't feel like it, which she didn't today. Deciding to explore the rest of the house like he suggested, Delmar left her room and headed down the hall. She ignored Kyoya's room and poked around the others, almost stepping on Artemis when he walked in front of her as she was leaving the study. "Oh! Artemis, I almost squished you," she scolded him, bending down and picking up the large black cat to cuddle as she walked downstairs. "I'm not used to having animals around, I'll have to keep an eye out where my feet are going," she mused, more to herself than anything, as she held the tomcat in her arms. He didn't struggle to be put down, which was nice, because she liked carrying him.
She heard the sound of water easily and perked up. He'd mentioned a pool - and since she lived here, he couldn't complain if she decided to go swimming, she reasoned. Kissing the black cat on the top of his head, she carefully set him down before wandering off to where she could smell the saltwater. It had been so long since she had and her heart hurt, thinking about home and the ocean. It was dark out, parts of the pool thrown into the long shadows of the trees around them, and she didn't see Kyoya as he sat in the corner so quietly. The mermaid was focused on the water anyway and almost threw herself in dressed and all, considering how long it had been since she'd been able to be in anything remotely like her home. Instead she managed to strip off before diving in nude. She didn't have to hold her breath, of course, and stayed underwater for what seemed like a long time to anyone watching, simply basking in the feeling of being surrounded by water again. It was magnificent, better than anything she'd ever felt, and she let out a sigh in the dark water before coming up and surfacing.
Delmar pushed her hair back from her face as it clung down her back, what was in the water floating around her like a cloud. She let out another sigh of pure pleasure, bobbing easily in the water, and looked up at the moon. If she closed her eyes and thought hard enough, she could almost pretend she was in the ocean under the stars, far away from land and humans and heartbreak. But the moment couldn't last and she looked away. Glancing around as a matter of habit, her eyes widened slightly when she saw Kyoya there. The mermaid was hardly embarrassed at her current state of undress, but disliked being taken by surprise. How was someone able to be so quiet? "I didn't know you were there," she remarked, staying out of arm's reach as she relaxed in the water, eyes growing heavy again as she relaxed, once the initial surprise had passed.

☽~☾ Kyo ☽~☾ Kyoya was relaxing under the stars when he heard the back door open. He knew who it was, Artemis already having informed him of what was going on. Kyoya stayed in the corner, quiet as he observed Del. He could tell how happy she was and watched as she undressed before she jumped into the water. He stayed where he was, watching her as she stayed under the water before surfacing. The way the moon surrounded her and reflected off of her wet skin was enough to get anyone excited and Kyo pushed down his feelings so he didn't frighten her off. He waited until she was relaxed again to speak, noting how she stayed out of arm's reach. "I was enjoying the night while I could."
Kyo moved away from the corner and snaked his arms around Del, pulling her to him. He wrapped her legs around his waist, but didn't try anything. He held her in his arms and began to walk around, simply drifting around the pool without losing his footing. He looked into her ruby eyes, loving the emotions that played across them. It was hard for him not to lean in and kiss her, but he didn't want to ruin the moment. He knew she would have a hard time just staying like this anyways and he wanted to gain her trust. "Tell me more about yourself. What do you enjoy doing? What is your favorite kind of food? Tell me things I don't know about you." Kyo felt Del's hair floating around them, enjoying the way it felt. Kyo kept his arms around Del and continued to walk around the pool. He figured he had a limited time with her in his arms like this, so he was enjoying the moment. Neither of them were embarrassed of their nude status and Kyo found that it was going to be interesting living together. He looked at the water running down her skin and his want for her was overpowering. This time, he wasn't able to push down his feelings and they made themselves known as the result brushed against her thighs. "I promise no funny business. I won't try anything beside just holding you and walking around. Do you trust me?" Kyo was curious of what the answer to his questions were, but he knew better than to have high hopes. Out. Of. Ðelmar The mermaid's eyes went wide when her master came over and scooped her up like that, their bodies tight together. She wasn't used to intimacy of this sort at all and her instinct was to run. He moved her legs around his waist, however, and her arms automatically followed to go around his neck when he began to float around in the pool, treading water and not trying to do anything, not kiss her or anything. Letting out a slow breath as she looked up at him, Delmar pushed aside the urge to shove him away and swim away, listening to his words and asking about her. Surprisingly to her, color rose in her cheeks when she felt something against her thigh, not used to this sort of situation. Swallowing down her anxiety, the female tossed her head just slightly and chewed her lip for a moment. No funny business, he said. Well, she didn't believe that at all, actually. Why should she? He'd tried it before and to her, this was just another attempt at 'funny business'. At his question about trusting him, Delmar shook her head. "No, I don't," she replied bluntly, but she didn't move away. Not yet. She wanted so badly to give him a chance, for things to be different than she thought they might end up being. Even if that ended up in disappointment.
"How come you ask me so many questions about myself, but you don't volunteer any information about you?" Delmar asked him, looking up at him. The moonlight reflected off the water, off her ruby eyes and wet skin, making her look like she was glowing. Some mystical nymph coming out of a magic pool. She wasn't aware of the effect, however, and wouldn't have cared if she did. "There are plenty of things you don't know about me. Telling you all of them would be long and tedious and boring. I don't stay for boring," the female continued, not a hint of teasing in her tone. She was being honest with him, not seeing any reason to lie. The mermaid had no reason to stick around if she was bored and she'd slip away from him as easily as a shadow. Or at least she would try to, as she had no idea what he was or what he did, how he managed to be so silent and still she didn't sense him in the water, her own element.
Looking around, Delmar decided she'd let him hold her long enough and pulled away from him grasp. She moved around back from him, the water barely concealing her breasts as she slid through the water, looking at him with both curiosity and suspicion. "You didn't act like this in my room, when you bought me," Delmar told him. "Do you have many different sorts of masks to wear around people? One for every mood that suits you?" she continued. He had gone from cold and seductive and playful at the hotel to almost affectionate, almost loving, at his home. It was only another reason for her to be suspicious of him and his motivations for taking her, bringing her with his home. What was his true motivation for bringing her home? It seemed impossible for her to figure him out and that worried her. Usually the mermaid was easily able to read those around her, figure out what they wanted, use it against them for her own benefit. Not with the neko in front of her and she wasn't sure why he made her so nervous, so anxious, and so curious all at the same time.

☽~☾ Kyo ☽~☾ Kyoya smirked when Del blushed before she said she didn't trust him. Well that was to be expected anyways. They had only just met and after all, Del was a victim of slavery. She wouldn't be willing to trust him so easily and Kyo was aware of that. After all, he didn't trust people easily either. "Well we'll just have to change that." Kyo watched as the moon reflected off of her skin and eyes and made her glow. She looked like a goddess in the night and in that moment, Kyo almost could have been in love with her. he didn't say anything as he watched her, feeling her heartbeat through her skin. In that moment, Kyo felt most complete and it was a scary notion. He had never felt like this before and he wasn't even sure what it was and that scared him the most. He didn't let it show on his face and he continued to float around with Del in his arms. After a few minutes, she left his arms and he was disappointed, but he wasn't going to admit it. Kyo watched as she swam around him, asking about his masks. Well she had a good way of putting it after all since he did wear a mask for his job. It was almost ironic that she used that term, but he wasn't about to admit that.
"There are always many sides to people that are not always shown, but only in certain places. People have layers to them and different sides to them. Sometimes it just takes a little longer to see all sides of them." Kyo swam in opposition to Del so that they made a circle almost and so that he could still see her. He loved looking at her glowing in the moonlight and it truly was something magical. He realized that he had forgotten to answer one of her questions and knew she was probably waiting for an answer. She did have a point when she said that he asked questions about her without giving out information, but it was something that was natural to him. He wasn't supposed to be personal with people. "I generally don't like to talk about myself because I don't think there is much interesting to talk about. I work at night and make a lot of money which allows me to go out and have fun. I have a cat that I take care of and a beautiful house that I love. There isn't much to tell about my past and I think I've already told you a little about it before, but you'll get to know all of it soon enough. It's boring to find out everything about a person all at once because then you'll never be surprised or interested when they tell you something new about themselves."Out. Of. Choices:

Ðelmar Delmar thought his words were amusing, considering he was asking her all the questions at once, as if he were trying to find out everything about her at once. Smirking slightly, she paused in her movements and for a moment considered showing him her mermaid form. Well, her freak form, she thought bitterly, a sour look briefly crossing her face. It faded for a moment and she decided against it. Well, it wasn't as if she was going to tell him everything about herself right away either, she thought smugly. He could just wait to see things about her, find them out. And then he could have those surprises he just spoke of himself. "Well, now I have even less incentive to answer your questions," the mermaid pointed out, sinking in the water a bit until it went to her collarbone. "After all, then you won't ever be surprised with me and you'll lose interest. And then it'll be boring and I'll have to go somewhere else," she remarked with a shrug of her shoulders. She reached up to flick some hair off of her shoulders, letting it float behind her as she stayed in place, sighing softly to herself at the thought. It was nice here, she had to admit, and she didn't want to leave if she didn't have to. Not so soon, anyway.
Deciding to tease him a bit, Delmar slowly moved back over to him and went behind him. Her fingers trailed up and down his back before settling on his shoulder, beginning to massage the muscles near his shoulder blades. She let her body brush up against his back lightly, just enough for him to feel her there, before moving herself away from him again. "I'm surprised you like the water so much," she remarked quietly. "I was under the impression cats didn't like the water." He didn't have his cat ears or tail out for her to tug on playfully or tease and she pouted slightly, the expression lost as she was behind him. Her hands continued to move over his back, working out the knots she found. It was a bit of a surprise to feel them there. He looked so relaxed and at ease, like he had control over anything and everything, that she hadn't expected to find any tension at all. The idea that she and her nude body were the cause of any tension didn't occur to her, once again because he seemed to have so much self-control. "But you seem to like it. I'm glad you don't have chlorine in your pool, I hate the smell. And it makes my hair feel weird," she added, wrinkling her nose at the thought.
"Do you have a lot of visitors here?" she asked, although she was mostly fishing for a different sort of visitor in mind. Did he have lovers coming in and out of the house she would have to put up with? He seemed the sort to...what was the human phrase? Love 'em and leave 'em, she thought. That was the last thing - well, one of the last things - Delmar wanted to put up. After all, if he had plenty of playthings, that made her redundant and no one wanted to be that. Making another face, she ran her hands down to the base of his spine before going back up to his shoulders, her fingers kneading the muscles there. She had thought he was skinny at first, but seeing him without a shirt on made her realize he had a swimmer's sort of athletic build, muscular and lean rather than bulky.

☽~☾ Kyo ☽~☾ Kyoya relaxed as Del began to massage his back. He wasn't expecting it and it was nice that she was getting all the knots out of his back. He let her massage him and listened to the questions that she asked. He had gotten used to her presence and the fact that she was naked, so it didn't bother him entirely when she brushed up against his back. He was a sexual being and it was hard for him to have control, but he was getting better at it. He chuckled when Del asked if he would have visitors, knowing that she was thinking about any sex friends he might have. "Don't worry, I don't get many visitors besides the mailman. Besides, I highly doubt that you'll ever let things get boring." Kyo stole a peek at Del over his shoulder but continued to let her massage his shoulders. It felt nice and he liked her hands running up and down his back. He waited a few more minutes before he decided to speak again.
"Cats don't like the water but I don't mind it. I mean I do take showers after all and most cats refuse to bathe unless they clean themselves with salvia so I consider myself a little more sanitary than that. But I like the water. It's calming and its a nice way to relax after a long night at work and I agree about chlorine. It's nasty and I have to keep my hair looking as good as it does." Kyo turned in the water and looked at Del before he gently pulled her to him. He pressed his lips against hers, licking her bottom lip and tasting the salt there. He pushed his tongue into her mouth and kissed her deeply before he pulled back and let go of her. It was getting late and as much as Kyo wanted to stay up, sleep was starting to call him. "I'm going to shower before going to bed. I'll see you in the morning." Kyo winked at Del and then climbed out of the water. He leaned down and scooped up his clothes. The moonlight shimmered on his skin and his muscles rippled with the movement. Standing up, Kyo tossed Del another wink before he headed inside to shower. He didn't like keeping the salt on his skin.Out. Of. Choices:

Ðelmar She could feel him relax under her touch, as well as all the knots she was working out of his back. Honestly, he seemed so relaxed and laid-back that the mermaid was surprised he had so many and was obviously so tense. At the laugh, she made a bit of a face, knowing that it was directed at her, but she was mollified when he said he didn't have many visitors at all. Good, she wasn't the sharing sort and she didn't feel like having little human tarts prancing around the place when she was just getting settled in. That hardly seemed fair. Huffing a bit as she continued to give him a massage, she smiled a bit when he said he didn't mind the water. Good, because she couldn't put up with someone who didn't. Delmar made a disgusted face when he brought up cleaning himself with his tongue - ew. That was just disgusting and she didn't need that mental image. Shaking her head, the mermaid had to grin a bit when he said that the water was calming. That was how she felt about it and she was glad that he used saltwater. At the remark about his hair, she snorted, hearing just how vain he was. Men.
When he turned around in the water, she looked up at him in surprise as he looked down at her. Then he pulled her against him and was kissing her, more deeply than she had expected. Del groaned a bit as she kissed him back, her fingers digging into his biceps as his tongue slid into her mouth. The mermaid found herself pressing up against the neko almost desperately. He left her breathless and flushed as he pulled away. She gave him a pout, knowing he had to have done that on purpose when he winked at her, and tossed her head a bit. She couldn't help but watch as he climbed out of the water, biting her lip and pretending she wasn't looking at him when he gave her another wink before walking off. Arrogant cat, she thought spitefully, stretching. She swam around for a while longer, not very tired and feeling calm in the water, a feeling she hadn't had in years. Letting out a soft sigh as she floated around, Del wondered what her life was going to be like, now that she was in this place. Hopefully it would be as good as it seemed and he wouldn't suddenly turn into some creepy, abusive person she'd have to drown. But she would if she had to.
That thought settled in her mind, Delmar pulled herself out of the pool. She didn't bother putting her clothes back on, picking them up and padding back inside. Heading up to her room, she rinsed off the salt. It wasn't because she disliked it on her skin - she was a mermaid, after all - but she didn't like the salt drying on the bed and on her clothing. Not that she was going to wear anything to bed. Coming out of the shower after toweling her hair off, the mermaid went over to the vanity and began to rub the lotion into her skin. She hated feeling dry and would usually put lotion on a few times a day if she could, just so her skin didn't dry out as it tended to do. It was part of the curse, part of being a mermaid stuck on land. Finishing up with it, she left her hair loose to dry and straightened up, stretching a bit. Delmar spotted something near her bathroom door and walked over, scooping up the black kitty without much thought at all. "What are you doing in here, Artemis?" she asked him curiously, kissing his head and scratching behind his ears. Heading over to her bed, the mermaid climbed into it and cuddled up to the cat under the blankets. "Good night, Artemis," she murmured, glad to have something to cuddle up to.
Delmar fell asleep not long after that, exhausted by the day's events. Her dreams were dark and dim as usual, memories of home and her family, her friends, everything she had given up just to be with a man who'd rejected her. Being in the pool had stirred up all her old longings and brought them to the surface and the mermaid had a few tears roll down her cheeks while she slept, thinking of what she'd lost. She was a fool, she knew that now, but it was too late to change everything. Del just wished she could get back in the ocean, just one more time.

ஆ I felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down, The kind of dark that haunts a hundred year old house, I wrestle with my thoughts I shook the hand of doubt, Running from my past I'm praying feet don't fail me now! ஆ
☽~☾ Kyo ☽~☾ Kyoya showered rather quickly since he was mostly just rinsing the salt water off of his skin. He was out of the shower in no time and he dried off before he stretched for a bit, wanting to make sure his muscles were nice and loose. He remembered the way that Del had pressed herself against him when he had given her a goodnight kiss and smiled. He was looking forward to the day that he would be able to convince her to sleep with him. That body of hers was simply gorgeous and he wanted to make Del his in every way possible. He also thought it was cute how she pretended that she hadn't been watching him get out of the pool. Sighing, Kyo put on his red bandana and transformed into his cat form. Slinking out of his room he winked at Artemis whom rolled his eyes before going to hide in the office. Kyo made his way up to Delmar's room and watched as she got into the shower. He walked silently over to the bathroom door and peeked in before he watched with luminous eyes as Del showered. He slinked into the shadows as she passed by and then sat by the door, his tail curling over his toes. When Del noticed him, Kyo's ears perked up and he meowed when Del scooped him up and kissed his forehead. She thought he was Artemis which was exactly what he had been planning for. After all, Artemis and Kyo were identical when Kyo was in his cat form.
Kyo purred as Del snuggled him under the covers. He liked being held by her, even if he was being sneaky about it. Once Kyo was sure that Delmar was asleep, he transformed back into his neko form. He watched her sleep for a moment before he kissed her tears away, not wanting them to stain her precious skin. "I'll make you mine entirely and you'll be happy with me. I'll make sure of it." Kyo whispered to Del in the dark, knowing that she wouldn't remember this in the morning. He leaned in and very gently and sweetly landed a fluttering kiss on her lips. He slipped out of her arms carefully and nodded at Artemis as he took his spot. Kyo looked at Del one more time before carefully brushing her hair away from her face without waking her. He slipped out of her room, shutting her door quietly behind him. Heading back to his room, Kyo sighed, not sure of what he had gotten himself into. It was true that he was lonely and that he wanted someone to share his life with, but if anyone found out about her, there could be some serious trouble. Kyo sighed before he climbed into bed. He spent about an hour staring at the ceiling and thinking things over before he finally drifted off into sleep.Out. Of. Choices:

Ðelmar Unknown to Del, that situation repeated itself every night when she cuddled up with the black cat. She needed the affection and wasn't going to make herself look weak to Kyoya by trying to cuddle in bed with him. Besides, she was sure that if that happened, there would be a lot less sleep and a lot more something else going on and she didn't want that. He'd leave her, she was sure of it, and attachment was bad. Still, after a week with him and Artemis, Delmar couldn't help but start to enjoy herself. What with the pool and the freedom to do as she pleased, and the pampering by her new master, the mermaid was starting to relax a bit, her jaded attitude not quite broken, but there were moments when she was softer than she realized. He knew better than to bring it up to her or point it out, so she didn't know to harden herself back up. It was a shock, going from her home to the slave market with a broken heart, to a place like this. It wasn't what she had expected, or had told herself it would be, and so the female wasn't really sure how to react to anything at all. Well, except the neko's advances. That was easy to toy with him and then push him away. It was a game they kept playing and it wasn't clear who would win. Certainly he thought he would, she was sure of it, but Delmar was more stubborn than anyone realized. What other girl would give up her fins, her family and her home, just to be with a man? Betrayal stacked on loss made a shell that was hard to break, but Kyo kept putting tiny cracks in it without her even realizing it. Perhaps he didn't even realize it.
She had begun to grow antsy, however. While she wasn't bored with the house, she was tired of being in the same place constantly and had begun to pace around more than usual, carrying Artemis - or Kyo - around with her, talking to them and looking out the window longingly. So when he announced he was taking her out on a date and to dress nice, she perked up and immediately went to shower and pick out something to wear. She'd never actually been on a date, or at least that's what he called it, and was curious as to what exactly it might entail. Humming happily to herself in the shower - every mermaid could sing, though she didn't anymore, her heart not in it - Delmar didn't bother wrapping up in a towel as she stepped out and went to put lotion on, massaging it into her skin. She thought it was Artemis watching her as she did so, her hair clinging damply to her back as she moved before she pulled the water from it and tossed it out the window onto the flowerbeds below. She found something to wear and dressed easily, leaving her hair loose to hang down her back in thick waves. Going over to the cat watching her intently, she scooped him up and kissed him on the nose. "Who's a fuzzy kitty?" she cooed, indulging only this sort of silliness with Artemis. Or Kyo. Whichever one happened to be getting loved on at the moment.
Setting the cat back down, she stretched before sashaying off down the hall to go find Kyo. "I'm ready!" she called, sounding just a touch impatient. Weren't men supposed to get ready quicker than women? She'd heard that somewhere and had thought it sounded about right. "Are you done? Where are we going? Are you going to tell me yet?" she continued, full of questions. It was really the only way to gauge how excited she was about something - the more questions, the more she was curious about it. And for Delmar, curiosity was just as good as excitement nowadays.

☽~☾ Kyo ☽~☾ The week that ensued was comfortable. Kyoya felt more easy around Delmar and every night he would turn into a cat to sleep with her. He liked being able to cuddle up with her, but he would remain awake to sneak out before she figured out it was him. If he fell asleep, it wasn't guaranteed that he would stay in his cat form. Every once in awhile he would go out on missions, leaving Artemis and Del behind. He would return extremely late at night to find Del in bed already with Artemis at her side. Those nights, he would simply kiss her forehead and whisper a few words to her before leaving the room and going to sleep. He had only gotten two missions that week so he wasn't as busy as he usually was. There were times when he had been in his cat form and Del had been carrying him around that he noticed her staring out the window. He could tell that she was getting antsy and he didn't want her to get bored and leave him. One night when he was that she was particularly antsy, he announced that they were going on a date. He chuckled when he saw how excited she was and decided to change into his cat form to watch her shower. It was a half and half bet between if the cat she played with was Artemis or Kyo, but Kyo was happy when he caught special moments. He meowed sweetly and loudly when she kissed him on the nose and called him a fluffy kitty. Beginning to purr he watched as she got dressed and then contained his sigh when she began to look for him. Ducking into the shadows, Kyo snuck away in his cat form before racing into his room without getting caught by Del. He transformed back into his human form, deciding to stay in his human for the date that night.
Kyo got dressed in a pair of slacks, a black dress shirt, and his gray vest. Making sure to put on his red bandana around his neck, Kyo headed out into the hall and almost bumped into Del. He had heard her calling out and asking questions on her way here and seeing her in front of him, he stopped to appreciate what she had picked out to wear. "You look absolutely beautiful Del." Kyo pulled her into his arms gently and kissed her sweetly before he released her, settling for holding her hand in his. "I managed to get us a reservation at a very prestigious restaurant in town so we're heading off to dinner first. Then, we'll go see a movie. After that, we can walk around town for a bit or we can come back here and I can spoil you with dessert and a massage. So the ending of our little date is ultimately up to you."Out. Of. Choices:
