Emperor of Ruin Morbid Curiosities Aw jeez it seems like WonderCon might be here for awhile : Even I can't stand LA weather; it's far to sunny and humid. Even in winter it's around 70's to high 60's degrees most days, which is far to warm for winter. Though I haven't been to San Fransisco yet so I can't compare Maybe I'm biased but San Francisco has the best weather I've ever experienced. It's really mild and almost never humid (except for this past week, which has just been disgustingly hot AND humid). When I went down to LA last year I came back with just... respiratory gunk from the bad air too. Not looking forward to coming back with it again. I want it to come back soon just because I miss going to it. SoCal already gets the better Anime con in terms of industry guests and stuff, it's unfair to hog all the comic conventions too. whee Mild weather sounds so nice right now crying I haven't been able to drink a lot of tea lately because of this crappy weather. The bad air is something you have to grow up with to get used to haha Plus side to SoCal, we get a lot of great cons wink (brb trying to stop my pile of books from destroying me)

Morbid Curiosities Mild weather sounds so nice right now crying I haven't been able to drink a lot of tea lately because of this crappy weather. The bad air is something you have to grow up with to get used to haha Plus side to SoCal, we get a lot of great cons wink (brb trying to stop my pile of books from destroying me) Same! It's been in the 90s+ and I just haven't bothered with my tea. And I usually mainline tea like my life depends on it. We have a bunch of good cons here too, but Fanime doesn't really get industry stuff, and I like working for the industry? AX is actually too big for my liking and WonderCon was also too big, but I enjoyed going to it regardless. I grew up in Michigan and always hated humidity, so living where I do now is incredible.

Morbid Curiosities I know the pain man! I think that's why I like AX because it's big and you get to meet different people from around the country. Actually I was going to go again to AX this year but unfortunately didn't have the funds, so I'm just going to help my friends on their cosplays. Dang dude you've been all over the place! I miss my tea! My electric kettle looks so dejected. Fanime has my favourite con size and atmosphere, but it's strictly a fan con so they disallow industry which pisses me off. They don't really get good guests because of it. This year at AX I'll be working with Kazuhiko Inoue (and last year I escorted Yuki Kajiura on stage! heart ) and I just don't get that option at Fanime. I just don't do well in large seas of people and it tires me out really quickly. Last year I had a staff badge and could bypass most of the crowds by taking the back ways around the con center. This year I can't. gonk Aww, I'm sorry to hear that.

It's not like it even has good fan panels either. If it wouldn't keep me awake I'd do it too! It's finally cool enough. Morbid Curiosities I haven't read/ watched Book of Friends yet, but it's on my list! You have a good point but I still feel that the size would increase, not by a lot but enough to notice a difference. I prefer the anime to the manga just because the voice cast is great and the adaptations are spot on. Eh, it's already gotten big enough that hotels sell out within a half an hour so it doesn't really matter. Heheheheh I'm still totally awake. I started playing booty grab because I wanted to get to 500k tonight and I'm so close. Then I gotta do my laundry. Luckily my flight is on Thursday morning, I'm just still trying to reset my sleep schedule.

Emperor of Ruin I'll be honest, if Mads were going to be on the panel I'd probably start selling body parts to get my hands on a ticket and hotel room. whee I imagine there will be pretty good coverage of the panel, someone will probably film it. I'm hoping it ends up on youtube that same day!

People better take lots of videos and upload them to youtube so I can watch haha. Same here! My friend wanted to go, but I said no. This was all before Hannibal came up. Now I am kicking myself. She's not going now either. That was the problem. She wanted someone to go with her but all she was going for was the one panel for Once Upon A Time. And I would have been going to everything and would have wanted to cosplay, and she was like "No, that's not why i'm going." so it just all fell apart because she's not into anything else.

The thing about Comic Con, is that you can practically find anything you are looking for there.
