 I live to Serve and Protect▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ ❀xxxSuke smiled lightly as she blushed, a slight pink dusting his cheeks before chuckling as he listened to her. He just chuckled and rolled his eyes. "Well, someone has to be the voice of reason." He said with a small smile as she laid down and passed out. Chuckling again to himself he shook his head. "Like I said. That was enough. You are already drunk enough." He said as he watched her for a moment. She seemed so peaceful in her sleep. Without really thinking, he reached his hand over and moved the hair from her face before letting his hand run down her cheek. Catching himself he quickly removed his hand and set it back on his lap. He sighed as he looked around, wondering if the other captain had passed out drunk as well. She had been really quiet during their exchange. His attention was slowly drawn back to Shu as she slept. A rare expression of tenderness crossed his features as he watched her sleep. She was even more beautiful when she dind't have anything to worry about and was peaceful.▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ ❀For I will always be the one to save you in your greatest time of need

 S н υxxxF ē n gxxxH ι r o ѕ н ι▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [ Captain of the Fourth Division ] ▬ Shu fell asleep almost immediately, as she was done for the rest of the night. She was unaware of Suke's hands gently touching her face, but when the moment happened, a light and warm smile could be seen on Shu's face, as it brought her an unknown sense of comfort she didn't know for quite some time. She yawned after a few hours, as she woke up and saw that she was all alone in her own quarters once more. It was around five in the morning or so, as she realized she was on the floor and yawned, as she got up and decided to take a short walk along her garden.
"Wonder where the other two wandered off to?" With some curiousity, Shu remained with her uniform on, as she walked around the division grounds. She eventually stopped and sat down on the backyard deck, as she decided to relax and watch the sunrise and enjoy a few more hours to herself before another long day was before her. She was able to enjoy the sunset for a while, before her assistant would shortly arrive, debriefing her on her day. Shu stopped her assistant and asked him for a rather peculiar request. She asked that he pulled her third seat, Sagishi out from the U.H.C. and bring him directly over to her quarters so she could have a word with him.

Meanwhile, Akarui had downed her 6th drink and sighed in a great content. She had noticed Suke walk inside, and was a bit disappointed in the lack of greeting. 'Hell... I'm a captain, aren't I...?' The girl disregarded the fact for a moment and saw the little moment happen between the two others in the room smirking as her subordinate had passed out. "Boy, oh boy, *hic* poor Hiro-chan didn't even make it to the celebratory of our Shogi game! *hic* ......More for me!" Taking another shot of sake, she slammed her hand on the shogi board, knocking all of the pieces off into a clatter. "BENTO! *hic*" she exclaimed in a happy shrill voice as she began to get up. Unfortunately, as soon as she rose, she fell, and Akarui couldn't help slumbering in the nook by Shu's door. ~~~~ A small couple of soft steps stroke by her as Shu went outside. Feeling rather weak from the drinking from last night, Akarui didn't bother to budge. Instead she groaned loudly in regards to the splitting headache she had obtained. "...in my own fire." ⚫〰⚪〰⚫〰⚪〰⚫〰⚪〰⚫〰⚪〰⚫〰⚪〰⚫

Clay had made a full recovery after being looked after, although his body is healed, the scars and burns remain. His eye wont be coming back but that doesn't bother him, his senses were heightened so he didn't even need his eye. He stepped up to the captains door and knocked on it
"Ello? Captain Shu, are you in? Its Clay, I was hoping you had some time to talk, maybe over a drink or something?"
he said in a friendly tone, it was because of her and her team that Clay was alive and breathing but never got the chance to say thank you face to face.

 S н υxxxF ē n gxxxH ι r o ѕ н ι▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [ Captain of the Fourth Division ] ▬ Shu relaxed as she awaited for Sagishi to arrive in her backyard, as she enjoyed the peaceful environment that was her home. She spared no expense when it came to renovating the place she grew up in along with her mother and father, who were both gone for the most part from her life. "Oh mom how I wish you were her today..." Sighing, Shu still thought back about her mother constantly, as she missed the woman to this day.
Though thankfully she had a visitor, as she lost focus on her late mother, as she turned around and said gently, "Who is it?" Smiling, she got up and walked over to the front of her house and waved hello to her fifth seat Sword, Clay. She was familiar with this man, but was a bit surprised to see him visiting her own personal quarters. Then again, when wasn't she being visited by someone?
"Please! Come on inside! Though I'm going to have to pass on some drinks. I'm still a bit hungover from last night..." Shu was still having a hard time trying to recollect what happened last night, but she had the feeling that she owned Captain Akarui a week's worth of bento. "So what brings you over dear?"

Clay walked in and took off his hat in respect
"Thank ya kindly ma-am, I personally wanted to come by and thank you for having your people fix he up, I was starving, weak and had a lot of broken bones, but now i feel better then i have in hundreds of years. My only concern now is that i can repay your kindness by pulling my weight around here as your fifth seat sword..or that's what the papers tell me...I was actually hoping you would honer me with a sparing match, back when i was starting out we always challenged the higher ranks to keep them on their toes and in good sport, but if your not feeling up to it then i understand, don't want to be rude by showing up and asking for a fight when you just fixed me up"
Even though it was a surprise when he saw the captain being as young as she was, he didn't want to be rude treating her otherwise, it was because of her that he was up and running. Plus he knew better never to underestimate one wearing a Captains uniform.

"There's no need to flatter me with words Clay. Here at the Fourth we're always in need of new members. You thankfully have proven to be a worthy asset for the division, and for that I must thank you for picking to stick with the Fourth Division and the elite ranks of the S.S.I."
Smiling, she then heard his last piece of words, as she couldn't help but grin after hearing what he said. "Well if a spar's your game, I cannot refuse! However, we will not use our zanpakuto's for this spar mister, okay?"

Clay put down his backpack that he usually keeps with him
"But of course ma-am, don't need no one getting to badly hurt...well don't need me getting to badly hurt that his hahahaha"
They went out into a opening and they took each wooden practice swords, since clay was use to wielding his unique revolver short-sword, he stood with his sword forward and ready "When ever your ready ma-am, I know your skills far surpass mine, that's obvious, but i dont want you to hold back...I wont get better if I'm taken lightly"
Clay was no stranger to abuse and pain, he knew that these blows would hurt. Clay was able to learn on the fly that his spirit pressure could be used to lessen the blow of a strike, so to prepare his body glowed with a rusty colored pressure for the fight that was about to commence

The rules for this match were pretty standard, as the goal this time around was to simply knock an opponent down first and come on as the victor.
Shu simply closed her eyes and got into a proper stance, as she opened her eyes and looked directly at her fifth seat. Her eyes changed from being more kind and welcoming to a more cold and focus expression. She charged at her fifth seat with no warning, as she raised her sword in a overhead position, as if she was ready for an overhead cut, as she suddenly tilted slightly her left hand, causing a diagonal path. She had planned to strick Clay from his right shoulder and hopefully knock him down with one simply blow. However, she was hopefully that her fifth seat would be quick enough to dodge her move with his bokken.

Clay wasn't surprised with the speed and accuracy of his captains moves nor the fierce look in her eyes.
Over the many years of being out in dangerous territory taught him to have quick reflexes or die.
He could see the change in her move from the overhead cut to the shoulder cut, with a quick flip of his weapon holding the blade down deflected the blow and pushed it back, using the opening he thrust his blade towards her left shoulder, he knew better then to hit a ladies face.

Shu grinned, as she ducked down, avoiding Clay's attack, as she swung her sword in a horizontal fashion, as she aimed to hit his Achilles tendon in an effort to knock the man down.

When Clay saw her duck he knew she was going for something below him.
By sending spirit energy to his feet he was able to propel himself flipping up onto his hands dodging her attack for his tendon. Using another burst of his spirit energy he spun on his free hand and tried again to hit her exposed shoulder.
Even though he knew this was training, his mind was having a hard time focusing on that single thought. So much of his life revolved around fighting to survive that holding back his full strength was something he was having difficulty controlling, but luckily the person he was fighting was of captain level. He knew full well that even using his most powerful strike would do little to a captain.

With a simple gasp, Shu pushed herself back with her left hand, as she went back a few inches, avoiding Clay's attack, as she performed a backflip, as she got back up on her two feet.
She slid across the floor a bit before gaining her footing once more. "Dang, he's good." Shu was impressed at Clay's current skill level, as she was glad to see someone of his skill placed within her division. She gave him time to get back up on his feet, as she was getting herself ready for her opponent to make the next move, as she was keeping an eye on his style of attack, and keeping an eye out for any weak points in his form.

Clay knew she gave him time to get ready once more, he took it and got back on his feet. he flipped the sword around were the point was facing her.
"Well Captain I hope I'm not boring you now, would hate to waist this opportunity to spar with a captain only to let her think it was time wasted" he charged bringing his sword low to do a uppercut swing, hoping she would jump to either side, using a quick flick of his arm to get a small jab in

She didn't hesitate, as she stepped back the first time to dodge his attack with his bokken, as she then noticed his arm coming right her way, as she moved back once more to avoid his attack. He was fast, that was for sure, as she still remained observant for any opening and flaws in his technique before making her next offensive.
