She darted out of his reach, snickering as he stumbled. She felt a bit bad, but he was just so funny! He was doing the unbalanced cat thing and it was impossibly endearing. She knew she wouldn't be much better in the same condition but shhhh let her have this.

"Well if you insist Mister Zebo!" she sing-songed then went in for another pass.

Zebo's head finally cleared, but as he was hit with another U-Turn, dark spots appeared in front of his vision. What was wrong with him? This was quite possibly his worst battle; he'd hardly done any damage and already he was running out of steam!

"Scratch!" Zinnia shouted.

Zebo turned and jumped after Jael, claws unsheathed. "Slow down, girl," he said; he couldn't help but laugh at the entire bizarre situation.

Zebo's claws raked across her belly as she flew by and Jael hissed at the pain. He was much quicker when he wasn't disoriented. This was so exciting!
She pushed the pain to the back of her mind and laughed as she swept back at Zebo.
"Sorry Mister Zebo, no can do! This bird's gotta fly!"

((If only Jael had taken 100 more damage, this would be the perfect spot to forfeit. xD Ah well. Nice battle! Zebo and I got our butts kicked.))

Jael struck Zebo square on the crown of his head, knocking the large feline back. His vision went dark for a moment. Bird, huh? he thought to himself. She's strong, for a bird.

"C'mon, Zebs!" Zinnia encouraged from the trainer's box. "Don't give up yet! Swagger!"

Zebo smirked. It was a bit late to be changing strategies, but at least it'd give the flying furball something to remember him by, for better or for worse. She wasn't bad, for an opponent.

"Nice fight, little one," Zebo said while pacing. "I won't underestimate you again."
