Kynε

◢ ♞ ◣

His foot slid back into a strong stand in preparation for the small girl. She moved much quicker than the one before, so Kyne had little time to adjust the amount of power in his throw. His legs bulked with power small stones around Kyne's feet stood to barely touching the ground. The instant her claws dug into his hand, a shock wave was released. The ground already cracked now exploded into a crater with Kyne at the bottom. With her sharp claws, he shot her through one of the flying vermin. What she did from there was an acrobatic marvel.
Kyne turned to great the serious one's impressive display of magic. She had tremendous potential if it was not realized already. The numbers began to drop faster than they could be restored. Kyne focused on the flames that encased them and expanded them outward in a single burst. Several dozen demons were charred in an instant. Kyne then used his strength to leap on top a nearby building. The demon horde they had been fighting was but one of many. More and more spouts began to open in the sky and produce hell spawn. No..
Towers crumbled in the distance as fires ravage the once beautiful city. Kyne remembers briefly on all the people he had met on the train the past few days. How everything had changed so quickly. I... I don't think there is any more we can do here... Kyne wiped a tear from his eye before it could take shape and jumped back down to his allies.

Fast and determined to do this, she was quiet glad that the muscled man agreed with her plan. He seemed more in-tune with it then with the previous attempt with the other girl. Leaving his hands she heard the shock wave at his feet crack the ground around him. Kee'Da couldn't watch however as she was intended on her goal.

The flying beats over head were many and with them slower, she could easily leap between them with aerobatic mastery. In her initial powerful ascension into their mist she sliced and cut with her medal talons and toes. Unleashing lightening to those too far away to reach while leaping from the back of one demon to the next. She twisted and turned mid air, her hair a bloody banner behind her.

Kee'Da didn't want to waist a second of this magic that slowed their enemy down, She wanted to slay as many as she could before the spell gave out and time returned to normal around them. She kept moving seeing the number twiddle but there were still plenty to go. The young woman did see the rest of the city under similar attack around them though; more demons then she could fathom starting fires and slaying innocent lives.

"Focus..." she told herself as she slit the throat of one scaly beast she road at that moment.

Rúna Ridus

Far beyond the hazy borders of my heart
I can see a place
It's something like this
Every now and then I don't know what to do
Still I know that I
Can never go back

The flames around her expanded and funneled, they soared and they scorched as the fire bender killed by the masses and left behind ashes, above, rained the dead bodies of the shredded by the woman who was even more agile that Rúna. Rúna did see the extra demons still coming from the skies... and even she was beginning to wonder how on earth this world could survive such an invasion. Since when did demons come from above? As each of them continued to fight, one at a time an orb of misty light would pop from their body and and shoot back to one of the living demons - "Time is only borrowed i guess" Rúna said to herself almost as if it were a curse.

Bringing her foot down on the ground she let a crack open up on the ground, it rushed towards a demon before erupting with energy as it soared up into the sky and fell back down with a mighty thud. Slowly, these demons were coming back to their normal speed, and soon they would be equally matched once more. She could hear fires... she could hear buildings breaking, she even though she heard the sound of an Arcane crystal explode nearby. Then she heard thunder roar, it was metallic and sounded light lightning was striking thousands of times at one. Looking up waiting for the worst, she was shocked to find a blue light, like water almost, extending over the city. Flinging her arm beside her she let magical daggers fly into the throats of some demons coming towards her as she looked around for more help, looking down one of the main streets she saw statues come to life, robots... hidden in plain sight. The city was coming to life, the Grid was protecting the city like it always had done. Then she saw the stream of arcane magic feeding the magical barrier growing around the city, there was a man atop Merlin Academy in the middle of the city, not too far from here, she couldn't make out who it was but she heard the words "Protegum Maxima! Circumus!". The voice was old, it was strained, but it called out into the sky as his magical essence gave life to the barrier as it completeed above them, each funnel of darkness from above hitting the barrier with no avail. More streams of arcane energy were lighting up from Merlin Academy, "Wizards..." she said to herself, dodging the swing of an axe, tripping the demon up and then burying her fist in it's stomach. maybe we do have hope she thought.

Now that the demons would no longer be swamping in, and that the security Grid was doing it's job, it was time to finish this. Holding her fist up she let a magical power pull the surrounding demons close to her, before they all got to her she jumped into the air and threw the light down to the ground. When it hit them, they were all forced into the ground as the floor cracked against their skulls.

And oh, I know, the world of Real Emotion
Has surrounded me
I won't give into it
Now I know, that world
It is the only way my heart can go
I hear your voice calling out to me
You'll never be alone

If from time to time
It's an upward climb
All I know is that I must believe
Cause the truth I'm seeking
Always was inside of me

A light bright with magic lit the darkened skies. Kyne's eyes, well adjusted to the shadows, blinded in the flash to the display afterwards. He would only notice the demon spawn begin to pile on some sort of force field miles above the burning city. The smoke soon created a ceiling to the small world of mayhem. The numbers where now limited.
And of those left outside? I need to end this. Kyne thought for a moment of the consequences of his next move. Release Dragoon There wasn't much hesitation, before the heat would collect around his body slowly at first. I was hoping to use this against Kole. Release Álfar
With the time slowed down, his transformation was almost instantaneous. The embers that kindled around him moved all at once onto Kyne and in the second they touched him, he was gone. All that remained was a rune of several zeroes on the floor. Flash of light flashed around the city as if street lights were flashing followed by a loud snap. Closer and closer the flashes came down every streets, the snaps growing louder and more frequent. Kyne's image flashed landing a massive blow on a nearby demon and disappearing once more. A loud snap of the body reacting to the attack would be the only signal of Kyne's image reappearing at the next demon with a heel crashing into its head. in a matter of seconds, demon after demon, his image would make it's way to the other end of the city. His rage growing stronger and power gained momentum.
Finally reaching the other edge of the force field that encased the city, Kyne's hunger for blood had grown out of control and would not be sated here. Letting out a roar, he charged towards the wall no longer invisible to his eyes growing darker and redder. The demons once failing at attempts to regain entry into the city now backed away from the invisible walls. Release Elfira
The explosion sent several of the closest demons flying into the crowd. The dirt clouded around the new exit and the bravest and biggest surrounded. Release MeteoraAs they stood there, cowards among them attempted to escape, and as the dust settled so would the rest. Kyne had been running up the vertical wall of the shield he was now diving back down in a ball of fire. Exploding back to the ground, everything held down by gravity around him was airborne. Kyne flashed his way through the flying demons and into the hole were time is distorted in another way and endures trials of hell before returning only seconds later wounded. The holes in the sky begin to close and Kyne's body free falls as he loses consciousness. His body becoming sparking kindle, he explodes into ash on the floor. His body reappeared were the tune was left, still unconscious.

She battled in the skies with determination and viciousness. The ones above were just like the ones above; gradually coming back to full function and time. Which made things a bit more difficult and Kee'Da would have to eventually work harder. So she kept slicing and jumping while she had the time.

Before she knew it she was fighting fully moving and no longer essentially slowed down enemies. Which meant she had to not only kill the creature she was crouched on but also the demons in flight around her. Her back no longer covered and her advantage gone, Kee'Da was at a disadvantage. But then a barrier began to show up, cutting the demons off from the city and only leaving those within it to be killed.

"Things could be looking up," she breathed as she leaped from one demon to the next without touching the ground while still managing to kill two demons mid flight.

Course her landing paid this time was a big ugly sucker; birdish head and face but looking like it crawled out of a nightmare. A thick hide covered it as if snake and bird had a very nasty looking child. Her long medal talons dug in slashing and twisting as they tumbled through the air; its cries of pain easily heard.

"Die damnit!" she snapped at it racking her claws down its back cutting tendons from its feathered and membrane wings causing them to drop like dead weight. That was when the fire came up, vibrant and vicious then before which caught Kee'Da's attention and she watched it with her cyan eyes and realizing it was the guy she fought with. Keeping her eyes on him she watching with a sense of awed shock as he began to tumble back as if unconscious. "Oh come on..." she breathed out knowing she had to at least attempt to make his fall less painful.

Course in watching him she forgot herself and a demon came out of no where diving at her full strength. Kee'Da dodged enough mid air so the strike wasn't fatal but even as the beasts blunt weapon met her side, her armor making sure it was a minor injury...though Kee'Daw was sure she felt ribs break as she lashed out at the thing. Her goal now though was to get to her team mate essentially even if she didn't know his name. Leaping from one demon's back to the, as fast as she could, the redhead sprinted and leaped managing to leap up and across from the big muscled guy to help his decent lessen.

Snatching him up by the collar of his shirt or armor more like, Kee'Da gripped tight as she used all her might to dig talon and claw into the side of a near by building. Their combined weight making it very difficult and painful; her fingers protesed just as her newly injury side did. But her goal had been achieved as they fell fully only a few yards down; it hurt but it wasn't fatal; least to them as he was Scarred as well.

Laying their holding her side, Kee'Da cringed and panted wanting to get up to fight but her body telling her to do the opposite. "Damnit..."

Far beyond the hazy borders of my heart

Every now and then I don't know what to do
Still I know that I
Can never go back

Rúna was running out of ideas, her battle style was better-suited for small groups or one-to-one combat, not hordes of armies. She was even beginning to sweat and breath heavily under exhaustion. The barrier growing above them was some worry off her shoulders however, and the defence system in place at Entei would hopefully be able to protect it for as long as possible. Judging by how the demons attack, if they can't get to where they want the raid should cease and the clouds above will stop giving birth to more demons.

Looking around, she saw the woman, but could not find the othe rman. But it only took her some more moments to find flashing fire darting across the city, she couldn't believe it, she could even feel the power of the ability from where she stood - and Rúna was not that magically gifted. When Kyne's monumental attack was over, she realised that it was him, and Kee'da was already ahead of stopping his descent from being all too damaging. Runa was too far away to be able to do anything to help, so instead she killed off the few demons along the way. When she got there she watched as Kee'da fell to the floor, she wa sin agony, and Kyne hit the floor like a pile of ashes, until - like a phoenix - became new once more, yet not as graceful for he was still battered and bruised, like all of them were. Feet coming to a sudden stop nearby the lady, Rúna said "we should get you to the hospital" hoping she wouldn't mind her suggesting such a thing, some weren't keen on hospitals. "HEY!" Runa called, hoping one of the robots would find them. The city was silent now, all that remained was the quiet hum of the magical abrrier surrounding the city now, and the stomping feet of robots, as well as the occasional wail of a dying demon.

Rúna was still coming to terms with the man's powerful performance, her own ability left her mind tired and muscles aching, she dreaded to think how long he would be recovering from such a feat. And judging by th elooks of the woman, she gathered there were some broken bones in her chest.

Kynε

◢ ‰ ◣

The touch from the Scarred woman awoke him and when he reappeared, Kyne only wished he had the strength to return the favor. As he could only watch the young woman in pain, the serious woman must have been recovering from the shock of it all. His muscled ached all over and his eyes blurred the image in and out. Kyne was not only thankful that the demons had ceased, but more so that he had survived the ability. The steam emitting from his skin was not heat, but his body rapidly cooling back down. *cough*
A light off in the distance signaled the sun peaking over the horizon. Dawn had broken and the light burned away the dead meat of thousands of demons, like burning paper. The small kindle taking flight as the shield was lifted and the breeze carried them like fireflies to new heights. The smoke rose all at once into the atmosphere, revealing the morning stars once more, the sky a canvas of dark blue fighting the rays of orange and pink. Kyne laid on his back regaining his strength thinking of what a beautiful contrast to the horror committed below.

Withering in the pain of at least cracked ribs that were probably along the lines of three if not more. Her armor had done its job and though in pain and would have been more then happy to have avoided it, Kee'Da knew if her armor hadn't acted as it had she'd be suffering a broken rib-cage and probably a punctured lung. Once the redhead wasn't moving as much and was gradually getting her breath in order, the pain was lessening; though still painful.

The other woman found her way to her side, well their side, managing to turn her head with a slight cringe Kee'Da was able to see the big guy was awake. When that actually happened she wasn't sure, but he was in his own way, in a whole lot of hurt...they all were; her's just happened to be more of the physical nature.

At the mention of a hospital though, the redhead was glaring at the woman as she called over the robots for help. "NO!" the outburst was so strong and instinctive that Kee'Da started to sit up which only made her cringe in pain. Through clenched fangs that were barred for all the world to see; her cat like eyes glared up at the dawn. "No...No hospital...I'll heal on my own, its just a few broken ribs; I've had worse."

In which she had.

Kee'Da was a Scarred, the girl may be able to guess at it at that point. They weren't taken kindly too even the nice ones like she was. The last time she was in a hospital, they had poked and prodded; endless questions and interviews, frustration and disappointment endless when all the scholars and researchers learned she knew nothing of her cursed heritage. Since they couldn't learn anything there...they attempted to make Kee'Da their guinea pig...she booked it quiet out of there and had a sense of tread of hospitals ever since.

Rolling over onto her side and gradually pushed herself up with one arm while the other cradled her bruising middle. She managed to swallow the pain and remain relatively neutral. "Looks like we won this battle...I have the distinct impression that this isn't the last of them..."

Far beyond the hazy borders of my heart

Every now and then I don't know what to do
Still I know that I
Can never go back

The sudden outburst made Rúna jump, almost taking a step back with wide eyes as the feline-like woman glared back up at her. As they exchanged their glances she could almost sense some kind of trauma of horrific memory in-bedded at the back of the woman's skull. "I-" Rúna began, lifting a hand in defence "I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you...". She was cringing in the pain and Rúna could see it, she was thankful that she only suffered being tired and had managed not to get wounded too severely except for some bruises maybe and some nasty cuts. She thought maybe this lady would want to at least see the elves of Shard City for healing of some kind but maybe that would lead to another outburst. That was when the eyes really got to her as she explained she'll be fine without the hospital. It was a strange feeling that those eyes gave her, she could have sworn she didn't notice it before, it was almost... unnerving.

Kyne in that moment had stood up, holding himself similarly to the other two with steam joining the now-missing wind going through the city. The barrier remained over the city but for the moment that it seemed it was lifted, light broke through the clouds as Lucifial's power thinned out for some minutes. It gave them time to remember what it was like to see the light of day, something no one has done in several days now. Not since he reign of darkness began. But then, the deception was handed to them on a plate of lies. With a rumble, the black clouds quickly envoloped the sky again and the barrier was more than visible as Lucifial's voice echoed across Entei, he threatened them, almost egged them on, he said "You've impressed me mortals" with a guffaw to shortly follow. His voice thrummed across the skies explaining more of his plans as he went on with "Did you enjoy seeing the light of day? It's amusing how easily the mind is clouded with lies - its yet easier to make you betray" he laughed once more in his own pleasure. "You can try all you like to defend your precious cities, but soon enough Hell will be opening up to engulf your world and these petty portals can be forgotten." and then, finally, the voice in the skies stopped and Lucifial had left them once more with a message. Rúna sighed and looked to the skies, "Someone needs to do something to stop Lucifial - I hope the Guildeam know what they're doing..."

And oh, I know, the world of Real Emotion

◢ ‰ ◣

The sun's rays warmed his face as Kyne lay there resting. The giant ball of plasma in the sky was the Primordial that first taught the dragons to breathe fire. This child's tale always came to mind when the sun's rays recharged his flames. The steam whipped off his skin in violent wisps with the raging winds from the dark clouds above. An ominous voiced boomed from out of nowhere alerting the rag tag team of some impending doom happening sometime soon. It threatened and degraded them, and even dared them to challenge the forces of Hell themselves. The ego and grandeur of this greater demon gave him a strange feeling of disappointment and hopeless rage. He looked up to the darkened skies and clenched his fists tight.
Kyne Embers, he said to the other two. I... Images of his brother came to mind. Days long past of the two young twins in the cold streets. A rain beaten alley way as they walk in opposite directions. The thunder giving a flash of Kyne's face in tears; Kole's sharp toothed grin and eyes glowing with crimson. The tales of the ancient Dragon Lord Almualim fresh on their young minds. The power of no equal in exchange for the release of a blight to Non-Magic Earth. A power that could save millions, could also make their destruction inevitable. The power that may be weight that would tip the scales of a futile war.
I would never have thought this morning things would get this bad. Kyne didnt mention the trump card infer of any personal opinions. If anything, they would never need to resort to such drastic measures. Knowing his brother, Kole would also be somehow involved with this mess, he would be distracted from Almualim. Kyne shook the thought from his head, What do we do.

"Not offended....just don't like hospitals..." droned the young woman at hearing how put out the dark haired girl was. Clearly her outbursts was a bit more angry then she intended. Course as Kee'Da started up at the gradually building sunlight, she could easily smell the nervousness coming from the fellow woman.

It wasn't surprising but still sort of made Kee'Da feel guilty and self conscious. Pushing herself to her feet still panting and cringing in pain, the Scarred young woman started up at the darkening sky with a narrowed gaze with her unnerving eyes; a snarl on her lips as Lucifial's voice rang out. Things were way worse then Kee'Da ever expected. Grumbling to herself about how egotistical and arrogant the king of hell was, she pulled her creamy hood back up covering her blood redhead and blocking out her eyes.

"This sort of thing doesn't happen over night or so spontaneously...bet'cha signs have been going on for a while; building up...it would have caught many people's attentions...guildium included if not others."

Hearing Kyne give his name...she no longer acknowledging him as 'big guy' or 'fireball' in her head. "Nikee'Da...but I prefer Kee'Da," she replied she could at least give them her first name...last name usually unnerved people more. "As for doing something...do what you like."

The redhead wasn't planning on getting involved, it spelled trouble...in more ways then one; it was hard to resist however. Kee'Da only fought because she was there at the right time and place...plus if she didn't she'd be dead regardless. Plus glancing around, city guards among other city officials would be out and about looking for any last demons and or enemy like people; paranoia was about to peek considering Lucifical and threatened the whole world. It wasn't the safest of placed for her to be right now...specially wounded.

Far beyond the hazy borders of my heart
I can see a place
It's something like this
Every now and then I don't know what to do
Still I know that I
Can never go back

To her comment about the Guildeam, the woman went on to explain how this thing would have been building up for a while. It was true, The attacks started a few days ago when the Darkness first fell upon the land. Before that the storm swamped the surrounding land on the borders of Zakernand. Who knows what else has been happening beneath the light of man's sight until now. But she was also right that the Guildeam would have noticed when signs became obvious. Unfortunately many of the leaders where misguided by their own belief that peace was still upon them and ignored important signs earlier on.

That was when it appeared they were sharing them names. His name was Kyne, and it turned out the woman's was Kee'Da, finally she could put a name to their faces. "Rúna" she added before Kyne went on about what they should do next, and Kee'da appeared to have no intentions of staying or at least doing anything with them. "We survive - that's all you can do" Rúna said without looking at them and walking ahead. She stopped at some rubble and looked up at the train lines, they'd all stopped, she turned her gaze suddely to the other corner and knew by now the Zeppelins would be halted too. I need to get back to Neutral City... she thought to herself, cursing under her breath when she realised she was trapped in this forsaken city of the wizards.

Rúna realised that then she would have to stay here and find out something, she knew the big guy behind her would probably follow her too if she was to go anywhere of use. Kee'da seemed to be having her own ideas, but she wasn't going to bother her. She didn't want to hang around with someone anyway, a team made her efforts too slowly usually. Over her shoulder she said "Kyne, I'm going to the Star Well to find out what's going on. I feel as though you would like to follow..."

((I'm not sure what you guys want to do now, but I'm taking Runa to the Star Well. It's the only place she knows that she could find someone important or Guildeam related at the moment))

And oh, I know, the world of Real Emotion
Has surrounded me
I won't give into it
Now I know, that world
It is the only way my heart can go
I hear your voice calling out to me
You'll never be alone

If from time to time
It's an upward climb
All I know is that I must believe
Cause the truth I'm seeking
Always was inside of me

Kynε

◢ ♞ ◣

A flashback of what had happened only moments ago replayed itself within Kyne. This would be something tragic to the entire planet and he was now somehow involved. He even went as far as to question if this was the evil event him and his brother could feel pending for so many years. That voice so malice and full of detest, how it beckoned him to give in to the dragon lay resting deep within his soul. Kole always had the unsightly horns.
Kyne listened intently to Rúna, and nodded in response. Agreed. You fight well and I see no others who wish to fight for the sake of billions of innocent lives. He turns his head slowly and snapped his gaze at Kee'Da, who was still obviously wounded from the encounter. Taking several steps closer, he bent over to her height and put his cheek close to hers. Into her ear, I know, he leans back and gives her a wink then leans forward again,I share your concern and you are wounded for now, so we can casually leave this area and give you time to think about coming along with us.
The wind caught his cloak as if to pull Kyne away from her. He takes steps backward back to his original position and turned back to Rúna, Shall we take our leave? With a slight bow and a gesture to proceed, Kyne waited until after Rúna had passed him to give Kee'da a sharp toothed grin and placed his first finger to his lips. Kyne no longer held any quarrel with allowing his race to be discovered, but out of respect to her secrecy he kept it so.

She knew all to well the rules of survival...and all the choices that went with it. It was her old friend...good ol' survival. This incident was just another point in her life that survival became necessary and damn everything else. Fortunately she had other people to watch her back and her their's; not many times did Kee'Da need that, but the few times she did it was close calls.

Rúna speaking up about the Star Well drew Kee'Da back to the present and less from the past. Cyan colored cat eyes drawn to her and though curious about what the hell was going on here, the young woman didn't think she was that stupid to go into a horde of potential enemies to quench that curiosity. Kyne though did seem more interested in going.

It didn't involve her, so Kee'Da concentrated on her broken ribs; poking along the bones to find just what was broken or fractured and if they needed to be bound. This distracted her till Kyne's shadow towered over her and the redhead found him looming over her, and before she could say or do anything leaning in close. Though not touching, she could still feel the heat off his cheek, his hot breath on her ear and tossing her hair a bit. The words 'I know' made her nervous, surprised and curious...and maybe a little mad.

Still Kee'Da was clueless on what he was talking about as she remained stiff in such close proximity to him; she didn't exactly do physical contact very well these days. His words just even more confusing for her as he turned and began to walk away with Rúna.

Then it was all explained; a fang filled grin and a finger to his lips.

"No way..." sh breathed disbelieving and staring after them both. It was so rare for her to find a fellow Scarred that wasn't evil, wanting to kill her or in league with the normal demon spawn they came from. Taking a deep breath and concentrating she was able to pick up his scent that still lingered around her. That close and that strong, there was no mistaking it...it was Scarred alright. "...damn...right under my nose too; literally..."

Growling in her throat, Kee'Da knew she couldn't just throw aside this rare opportunity. The cat like curiosity that always getting her into trouble was clawing at her insides again...and with this new discovering there was no fighting it. So the redhead would follow but doing so while in the shadows; sneaking along as their invisible shadows. And that started with taking to the roofs which was a pain, but she did so with little issue all the while keeping the woman and Scarred in sight.

Rúna Ridus

Far beyond the hazy borders of my heart
I can see a place
It's something like this
Every now and then I don't know what to do
Still I know that I
Can never go back

Kyne spoke like a man that knew nothing more than the ways of battle, it wouldn't surprise Rúna if metaphors went over his head. She thought abou the first sentence he said, she guessed that was what she was doing, not completely intentionally but someone had to do it. The last time she met the soldiers of Asmodius they were a bit... dense. She stopped in her tracks, hearing a change of footing behind her as Kyne went to speak with Kee'da. Rúna had no idea what they were speaking about, but Kee'da's lot expression at the time made her wonder if it was just something pointless and confusing. She missed the expression of realisation as they began to leave. Looking behind her a few minutes later, she saw no one "I guess she left" Rúna commented.

As they neared the Starwell, which was within one of the largest towers of Entei, the source of the force field become apparent. It spiralled like a magical web from the top of the unfathomable tower, feeding the barrier. There was a staircase before them before they could get inside to where the Star Well sat. Reaching the top, they were abruptly stopped by an armoured wizard and his staff "The Star Well is out of bounds until after the city is safe"
"I want to know what's going on" Rúna insisted, not one to drag a conversation further than needed. "Can you not tell?" the wizard asked with a sarcastic tone. She rolled her eyes, "No. I want to know how much the Guildeam knows and what they're going to do about this. They can't keep Occulas out of the know-how."
"Let her in!" came a foreboding, elderly voice. The wizard looked behind him and it was none other than Professor Magus-bane. The greatest wizard to have ever lived since Merlin himself. He wore old blue robes intricately patterned with silver, he had an old staff and long white bear. He was pretty much exactly what you'd expect of a typical wizard from all the old stories being told in Non-magic Earth.

The wizard stepped aside and let them pass. Once inside they were in a giant dome-like room, the floor lowered as you got closer to the Well itself, which was not in its normal state. It was surrounded by kneeling wizards, praying almost to the well, channelling their control to protect their city. The room was decorated, or almost littered with books, scrolls, shelves, rugs, tapestries, you name it. The well however... that was different. Usually it was be a perfectly still circle of water, liquid that was deep blue and never-ending. It was glimmer any light like stars sparkling int he far distance of it. And sometimes if you stared deep enough you could see the cosmos. But now it was always rippling. It was like miniature waves on the beach reaching the edge and being channelled through small crevices in the floor. The ripples were being caused by the water of the well defying gravity itself, lifting from the well in small droplets, or sometimes creating funnels towards the high ceiling. When the water, whatever its shape, contacted the ceiling, it would join a shallow layer of water that covered the Arcane Crystals built into the ceiling. They glowed vigorously and devoured the energy before transferring it to the barrier.

After having a gawk around, she saw Magus-bane on the other side of the Well, he stared at them with beady eyes and on his shoulder were a crimson red and yellow flickered phoenix.

And oh, I know, the world of Real Emotion
Has surrounded me
I won't give into it
Now I know, that world
It is the only way my heart can go
I hear your voice calling out to me
You'll never be alone

If from time to time
It's an upward climb
All I know is that I must believe
Cause the truth I'm seeking
Always was inside of me
