every album is awesome, its hard to choose, but I would say that The Black Album would have to be my favorite of all Metallica albums, and if you hate St. Anger then get out of the Metallica Guild, no true fans can ever hate a single song by Metallica. I hate any one who ever says they hate anything about Metallica, Metallica ROCKS!!!

Tuonela I could NEVER choose. They are all really good. true, i love all the albums alot, couldn't really choose which is best, but black album does have better songs!

Antics Its funny; many people hate St. Anger, but call themselves 'fans of Metallica'. You cant be a fan, and hate a CD they put out. You can dislike it, but not hate it. ..That would be like hating all of TV just because they show 'All My Children' on channel 4 and you watch channel 56. neutral I think I would have to say Reload is my favorite; or maybe S&M even though I have only heard about 4 songs off it. Thank you Antics I've been saying that for a longgg while now! And i think i vote Ride The Lightning... but dude no ...And Justice For All?
