Here's another idea that I've thought up as well.
It's a world where seven kingdoms have been at war with one another. Each has their strengths and their weaknesses. It would be a medevil-type environment where magic is the deadiest of technological advancements ever to be perfected. However, a strange evil emits from some unknown source and a new war is created. The demons and undead creatures scour the lands of all the kingdoms to destroy them all. Enemies of enemies join forces to destroy what threatens them. Their efforts are noble, but the terror that's let loose upon the world is too great for them and they must summon the seven legendary warriors of each kingdom to save them. Each warrior possesses tremendious destructive powers that are unhuman and unnatural.
It's just a vague idea right now, but it has a little potential. I'm just the type of person that loves action in storylines and stuff. =P
