"My thanks," Daniel nodded, and tucked in to his food, however being perfectly restrained. He'd made enough slip ups in company for today. "Ha, yours sounds like it might be a bit of a handful," he laughed lightly at Sibuna round his mouthful. "And maybe that's a good idea..." He tapped the knife handle against his wrist thoughtfully, crimson eyes narrowed behind the glasses. "I know I'd like to know more about my little guy, and to be honest it'll do me no harm to know about the others. After all, while he's growing up, he'll want to understand more about the others, since they are the only ones who'll likely understand his situation." He took another mouthful, the wisp balancing on the end of the wand leaning close to his ear in a tiny draught, or perhaps through affection.

Sibuna smiled at Kierla's suggestion, dipping her head in a nod. "That's a wonderful idea, Miss Kierla." She confirmed, feeling much more at ease. These people didn't seem too spazzy, which always set her on the edge, so she was more than willing to travel with them to the library. It'd also be a great experience to bring her other child there. She'd been started by the choking, but it seemed to be alright now.
"You're welcome, Mister Daniel." She quickly shook her head, though, face darkening just a little bit with a blush. "I really hope that doesn't have to happen! Not in public, anyway." She was sincerely hoping the man was going to pay for his meal at the moment, though. As much as she'd like to give him the meal, she couldn't. "Miss Kierla, do you have any advise on making the little...um... wisp come out?"

They said it was a wonderful idea! That was good, right? Kierla decided to take it as a compliment. (Though I don't really know how it can be taken otherwise..) "Yes. Someday, I suppose. That would be...fun." The word sounded strange coming out of her mouth, so she tried it again. "Fffffun? Funununfun."
Her experimenting was interrupted by the bothersome requirement of answering a question. What tiresome things, they were, questions. "Advice. Well, I don't really have any tips or anything; when the wisp came out, I was just sitting, talking to myself and the wand. I really don't know what makes the wand wisp." Kierla turned her eyes on Daniel: "Hmm, do you?" Good, good. Turn the question on him.

Swallowing his overlarge bite Daniel looked up. "Hmm.. well, I just... kept it around me, you know?" He looked over at the little wisp, still balancing against his shoulder, and grinned. "Then one day I was sitting by the fire, and just... well, I felt like I was almost communicating with it for a bit," and he grinned sheepishly. "Perhaps because we were near the fire? Phoenix, fire, it makes sense..."

"Yes, fun." Sibuna nodded with approval. She listened as Kierla gave her answer- which wasn't nearly close to the one he was looking for. She herself had talked to it now and then, though she hadn't really had much of a response. When the question was turned, she stared expectantly at Daniel.
"A fire? I see... I haven't really tried taking it through the trees yet. My backyard is big. And just over the fence is more woods. It should be a good place to grow up." She nodded, then looked to Kierla again. "You sure there's nothing I can get for ya? I bet I could sneak some pie." She felt kind of bad the girl was just sipping water. Oh, jeez. Motherly habits were already surfacing. Sibuna, why don't you just mind your own damn business?

"Well, then. Perhaps mine works a little differently, considering I can't exactly go talking to Pegasus. His noble self probably wouldn't shine his hooves in my lowly presence." Kierla felt her face flush ever so slightly as she attempted the joke; she always was uncomfortable and awkward at humor. "And no, no, truly, I'm fine. I'm...not hungry. Thank you, though, for the offer." Kierla took another sip of water.

"Always worth a try though," and Daniel waved his sandwich cheerfully at Kierla. "Or by reading it stories, or something." He finished off the food with a few more quick, neat bites, and wiped his mouth fastidiously. "Thankyou very much, and compliments to the chef," he grinned to Sibuna, tucking once more clean fingers around the wand stave that was Bennu.

She had stared at Kierla for a moment, unsure if the woman was serious or not. Seeing the flush tipped her off though. She shook her head slightly, laughing nervously. "I thought you were pretty tall..." Another lame, cautious attempt at a joke. She simply nodded at the negative response for pie. Well, she'd tried.
"That's true. As soon as I get home, I'll take it through the woods." She resolved. As he finished, Sibuna picked up his plate. "I'll be sure to tell him. Thank ya, hun. Is there anything else I can get you or would you like you check now?"
