I pop in, but rarely post. If a topic interests me, I'll post. And in my other guilds I post more only because I they have a million contests to win each month. XD I think more contests would be better. 3nodding
EDIT: I also like participating in events (such as the Valentine's dating game one) <--That one was really fun! <3

So sad that you don't roleplay, as that could have been positively adorable.No, I understand it's hard to collect prizes and not everyone has the gold to be as extravagant. Maybe start a donations thread to help with prizes? But honestly, having monthly contests that require you to post every day will bring a lot of activity. And the prize doesn't have to be very big. And yes, I've seen the "Quest for fish" contest. It's interesting... but not really my thing...? I don't like bump contests so keeping track of my bumps and plays are really annoying. I do plenty of both, I just don't like logging them. Once in awhile I'll attempt to log my bumps for one of my guilds, but I always get tired of it within the first 10 bumps. I know I'd be done maxing my booty grab an hour sooner than what it takes me to log it. sweatdrop And someone will always bump more than me anyway. Yeah, and sorry about that. sweatdrop I LOVE reading adorable roleplays that OTHER people make... but I HATE participating. XD

I think you actually might like the contest because of that, the quest for fish contest. You don't need to log a ton of bumps, or compete with other people. You pick a goal, and then logging ten bumps a day for a few days will get you that goal, meaning you don't have to do it all at once. It can go rather quickly. There will be other contests, but I love a contest that doesn't have to do with chance, but actually has to do with creativity or hard work.

But for those who are lazy (like me), the random chance ones are quick and easy since they only require 3 posts out of your day, or whatever, it brings on more activity. I get bored with simple "if you hit this random # you win insert cool fish here" ones. But the Bingo, or other such creative ones/board game type ones, really get me interested and looking forward to playing them each day. I participate in random chance occasionally, but I tend to be more invested, more loyal, and more excited from anything that requires some mental gymnastics. And I love smaller community guilds, where you can get to know who you're playing with.
I like writing contests, oddly enough. A friend is trying to get me more confident in them. Or contests where I can tektek, or in some other way express creativity. I've done a few banner contests, too. Over all...I think the people just need to be kind to make a contest good. Really personable, available guild leaders, for instance. People who care, and talk to everyone, and show no favoritism...I really like the motto of this place. It makes me smile a bit.
We'll see if I find one. My hunger is extreme.
Let me know if you ever want to pull that cute character back out, though.

You shy? o.O You were my very first friend on Gaia who taught me about booty grabbing ^_^ sometimes, yeah. i actually never post in any of my guilds XD just outside threads. i think guild kinda feel like exclusive clubs to me and i feel afraid of being judged. i was! i rememeber that :3 and look how well it turned out for you XD <3 yup ^^ thank you my mentor ^^ And you have nothing to be worried about being judged here. ^_^ :3 XD im glad i found you in the newbie thread. yeah, i know, youre the boss here and youre really nice, so if anyone was being mean i know it wouldnt last :3 but its just that irrational fear after being in high school i think.
