WolfBlade24 Charizard wil always be my number one favorite. Some of the others I like are: sandshrew, growlithe, haunter, cuebone, typhlosion, houndoom, skarmory, tyranitar, sceptile, aggron, rayquaza, garchomp, lucario, zoroark, snivy, axew, and genesect. You like some pretty awesome pokemon! 3nodding I use quite a few of those myself. What's your favorite type of pokemon to use? biggrin

 I've been playing Pokemon since Red/Blue, but so far the 2nd generation is still my favorite. It's possible that X/Y might manage to upstage it, but for now there's just something about the Johto region that really strikes a chord with me. The remakes certainly didn't hurt.
The closest I have to an all time favorite pokemon would be my Charizard, Fluffy, as the most recurring pokemon I've used on my in-game teams, named after my plushie Charmander that's been just about everywhere with me at some point or another, although these days it mostly just sits around in my room with the rest of my stuffed animals. It's nostalgia more than anything.
Otherwise, I typically experiment with different line-ups in every game I play, a habit I got into in response to the Battle Factory really testing my ability to battle with unfamiliar pokemon. This has proven invaluable when training my collection of shiny pokemon since they don't necessarily have the best nature/ability for their species and I have to figure out my own way to use them.
