"I don't think I could make it back through all alone. I'd get lost in here without some sort of light and my eyes don't glow enough for me to see." he knew he had strange sorta glowing eyes, but they didn't work well for illuminating really. They were brighter in the light, like sun passing through ice and all. No light, no glow. Like now.
"I'm okay...I did hear something but it was my breathing bouncing back off the walls, and I scared myself." how sheepish he sounded but it had been an honest mistake.
He strained to see the light and thought he did see a glimpse but he still didn't speed up, no sense in falling this close to the end after all! That wouldn't be good at all. "Food for my fuzzy friend is good! I hope you have lots, and lots to eat."

"But your eyes are so pretty.. But I think I understand.. " Though he said that.. He really didn't. He had thought that because his eyes glowed, he could see, but from this angle, he couldn't see the other's eyes. It was all good though! Soon enough, they'd be out and the sun would be shining again..
Unfortunately, he was getting sleepy.. Lack of food, how warm and cozy he was, and how quiet it was all contributing to this feeling. There was a fight starting, the little fuzzy bug and the sand man, and it felt like the sand man was going to win.
"We have to hurry.. I want to sleep, and that's not very good, you'd be lost, and I promised I'd keep you safe too.." The light at the end of the cave was drawing closer and closer, and he could now feel the breeze from outside against his furr.

"Thank you Fuzzy." he smiled down at his friend, though hearing he was getting sleepy...that wasn't good...so Pyry went quicker, he could see the light, and he could see enough of the floor to see it was a smooth path and nothing to trip on.
As they got closer to the light Pyry's eyes started to glow again, though still dimly since he wasn't in the full light yet.
"Almost there Fuzzy!" Pyry's voice was louder now as he drew closer to that light and...there!
"Ohhh...so bright after the dark cave! Careful you don't hurt your eyes Fuzzy!" he carefully shielded his friends eyes from the sudden bright light. "Where do you want me to set you down at so you can eat?" what did fuzzy Joltik's eat anyhow? He looked around slowly.

The more and more this boy called him Fuzzy, the more and more he found himself enjoying the little nick name. Maybe he would ask his mommy and daddy if that is a good name when he met them. He could feel the movements of his friend quicken, and the light of the outside world slowly got brighter and brighter. It suddenly became bright all at once, and the world on the other side of the Cave seemed to blossom before him as if it were a flower in spring. The light did, indeed, sting his eyes, and the joltik murmured a soft thank you as the other protected him. The soft glow of the sun crept between Pyry's fingers, and with that, his eyes began to adjust to the new bright world before him.
"Wow.." The cave came out somewhere he had not quite seen before.. Oddly shaped structures seemed to line up in a row, and tall poles of sorts poked up out of the ground.. It was there where his little body felt that he could find food. There was a weird box thing, next to a large metal pole, and it seemed to be like some sort of Magnemite, but really really tall. There was no life on it, from what he could tell, so he was fairly certain they were safe.
"Those things.. those tall things.. It's filled with electricity.. I can just tell.. Have you seen one of those things before? They are so big and High up.. But I think I can make it.. Can you take me over there?"

It was likely that no matter what name the Joltik was eventually given, and able to later tell Pyry, 'Fuzzy' he would stay to the boy. One of those friendly nicknames in the end.
Pyry's eyes blinked a few times adjusting to the sun and light, and he looked around in awe shaking his head slowly. "I've never seen such things before no. I don't know what they are." he looked very, very stunned really.
"Okay I'll get you over there Fuzzy!" and the boy all but ran towards the tall things looking up head tilted back. "I'll lift you up as high as I can so you have less to climb." and here Pyry uncovered his hand, and held the two together, arms stretched out as far as he could.

The Excitement that the little Joltik held inside of him felt overwhelming, as he and his friend raced towards the tall towers. Even being the base of the tower, he could feel the electricity coming off of the lines above their head. He didn't even need to climb that high really, just the little boost that Pyry gave him was enough to grip firmly the pole, and move just a bit to reach the power box that was about halfway up.
"I feel so much better!!" He called down from where he was, pausing inbetween words to suck up more and more of the delicious energy from the pole. It didn't take very long at all to fill him up, perhaps only about 30 seconds, being as tiny as he was! Being full, and so full of energy now, he scurried down the the pole once more, using a sling shot to catapult himsef onto his friend's shoulder, and rubbing his head against the other's cheek. The little joltik's entire body was in a state of vibration, and he couldn't stop it! Though there was no reason why to, after all! Being so energetic was a feeling he had missed!
"Thank you thank you thank you!! There's so much food here! I don't think I'll ever go hungry again!" Even his voice sounded thankful for his dear friend's help!
(Hehe, by the way, they were power lines! XD Power lines on the edge of the woods!)

Pyry watched as his friend scurried up the pole toward the power box, fascinated by him apparently drinking the electricity, his hand shading his eyes from the sun a little so he could watch him closely, a smile on his lips.
"I'm so glad Fuzzy!" he was very glad his friend was feeling better, he sounded better to! The little bug landing on his shoulder made Pyry smile, though he giggled at the nuzzling. "That tickles!" it wasn't a bad thing though.
"I'm really glad you're not going to go hungry again Fuzzy, it means I don't have to worry about you after I leave here in a little bit." because unfortunately he couldn't stay.
"You take care of yourself Fuzzy, and hopefully I'll see you again someday. I know where you are to come back. Me and Escher we live at the top of a really tall mountain that has no name. So it's harder to find me, than it is to find you." Pyry reached up and gently ran a fingertip along his new friends back.

Aww.. His friend was going now..? That was okay though.. After all, they did have a bit of fun together? Well, maybe fun, maybe not so fun, after all, he was so hungry.. But they were friends now! And that meant they were connected! The bug shifted, giving the boy's fingertip a little bit of a chew/kiss, before hopping back onto the pole, going up a little bit, before turning around, smiling down at him and giving a little wave.
"I will take care, and I'll come back here when I'm big and strong! And then we can actually do something really really fun! Thank you again, Pyry! Hehe.. Next time, I'll have a nice name for you too! Oooh, and don't forget the bells too! I'll have something special and I'll share it with you then! Okay?!" Tiny legs scurried up quickly to the top of the pole, figuring that traveling to where these ended would be the best bet on finding more of his kind! It was hard to resist so much deliciousness!
"Bye!! Bye bye bye! I'll see you soon okay?!" The bug's voice carried down to his friend's ears and he gave one last wave, before hopping onto the black line that connected this pole to the next. So many exciting things were to come, for sure!

"Goodbye Fuzzy, take care! I hope you find your mommy and daddy! I'll make sure next time I have a bell to show you!" he waved to his friend, watching him scurry away before he looked around and headed in the opposite direction.
He was supposed to be out here to train a little, not goof off. So thats what he was going to do!
Pyry just hoped he and his new friend really did get to see one another again soon. He was so nice!
