hanako7 Omigah hanako7 Omigah Just wanted to express my confusion about people who hate St Valentines day. I mean, I've been single every Valentines day yet, I used to dislike it for vt hat, but then I realiased it's an international day dedicated to expressing love to people you care about, not just love interests. I don't see anything wrong with it, but I'm a loving person who expresses their love every day so maybe that's just me? Don't worry not all ppl like Valentine's day. Most ppl celebrate with their family. Some celebrate with their true love. Even preschoolers celebrate it. It doesn't force u to celebrate it either. Valentine's day came from the ancient romans celebration of Lupercalia. A three-day celebration to ward off evil. It was done on Feb. 13-15. And ppl have other ways of thinking of that day. Wow really? That's so interesting! Thanks for sharing that with me biggrin Ur welcome! Did u know that there is also another story for that? St. Valentine was actually a man that saved these Christians from a jail. The roman general found that out and put him to jail. But he soon fell in love with the jailer's daughter and before he died he wrote a letter to her and signed "from, your valentine" which is now used by some lovers in this modern day. smile That's adorable! Beautiful x Mayhem redheadsrule13 There's this guy I think I like right now. And our school is selling flowers for valetines day. Well two of my friends who are selling them, had told me I should send him one even if it's just anonymous because I'm shy. I'm halfway thinking not sending him one because i think it'd be obvious (that I sent it)because his cousin kept yelling out that I liked him and that we should get togther. And the other half is saying go ahead the only bad thing is that he might know, or it might make him happy. I'm not even sure if guys like to get roses either. so yeah. I say, GO FOR IT! ^_^ thanks smile

Well I actually bought a flower for the guy, and well he knows its either me or my friend who got him one. I had given it as anonymous. Plus I have no idea what his reaction was to it.
It's making me really nervous because I'm not the type of person to go out and do something like that especially for a guy, and i'm shy.
My friends sort of pushed me to get him one though, but now i'm sort of regretting it because i think it'll make it more awkward between the two of us even though he's not like my best guy friend or that we talk alot.
I've never had a boyfriend and I have no idea how to deal with a stupid situation like this. stressed sad

So, I guess I can tell a bit of my story here.. I went out to karaoke with my friends and crush on Valentine's Day. The whole time my friends and me were being completely obvious that I like him, but apparently he still doesn't know. This was the second time everyone was obvious, but he just won't catch on. I think the only way he will know is if I actually tell him, but I don't know if I should. We are friends and hang out with our group of friends a lot, and I don't know if telling him will ruin that and make it difficult for my other friends... I really don't know what to do...

Well I'm glad you're feeling more relaxed. I don't have much experience, but I find that if you have a go and are more open with a guy you like, you feel much more at ease. I spilled all my little embarrassing feelings for a guy I'm into and he keeps sneakily referencing to it without others noticing and does this cute smile thing. If someone knows where they stand with you, I think it gives them a little push to make some sort of move. Good luck. xx
