Actually, I could see this happening. If they're planning to make Lupin III (With Jim Carry, woohoo!), Dragon Ball Z and Akira into live-action movies, why not Gungrave too?

Easy. most of the those movies you mentioned are all speculation. It's also a matter of market. How many people can you go up to and say "have you seen [DBZ], [Akira], or [in rare instances Lupin III]?" and they answered yes? more than Gungrave. There's rumors of them makin' a Freakazoid movie, also starring Jim Carrey. but these are all the crazy rumors of the internet. Who even knows if they're valid. They're just teases to get our hopes up only to realize it's bull crap. As most of the Internet is.

Freakachris Let's face it, a Gungrave live-action film won't happen. But, for the sake of humor, what if it did. I'm thinking the only person fit to direct this movie is John Woo. Many directors could make it a beautiful movie, but for the gun slinging action it needs, John Woo without a doubt. But I want to leave the actors, actresses, everything else, up to complete discussion.

Anything but. Atleast for the Akira movie, it's a fact. I've even seen pictures of the props being used in the movie (such as a motorcycle built).

Plus keep an eye out for the Trigun movie coming out this year, it's an animated movie and it is definetily coming out in the later part of the year. So be ready.

Beware clebs names shall be hacked.
Big Daddy- Tom Hanks. He's older now and you know he's voice would be good for it. If not Tom Hanks then make Robert De Niro.
Brandon-Toby(spiderman) just dye his hair black and he's good to go.
Harry-Tom Cruz (I mean the dude is insane so why not)
Grave-Hugh Jackman (X3 rocked go SEE IT!)
Bob- Louie Anderson(the fat dude from Life with Louie and Family Fued. He has buck teeth.)
Lee- Jet Li. xd
Bunji-Johnny depp.
Bear- Either a fat Samuel L. Jackson or Wesley Snipes. Yeah I know they are on the thin side but the bigger actors I can think of do comdeies stuff. I wouldn't say Cedric or Anderson. That would be odd.
Sher-I want to the older girl from Bernie Mac but she's too young. How about Gabrielle Union.
Maria- The lady that does the voice Princess Fiona. (I can't find the DVD)
Mika-The Main Harry potter girl. I don't know her real name.
Randy- Joe Pesci <--- perfect comeback role for him. If this next movie flops.
Yeah that's all I can think off right now.

He has no emotion when he's being interviewed or whatever but when he has a role to play he does it dead on!!! That's the only reason why i think he would be good for Bunji.
