"I...guess I could try talking to him," Fluttershy conceded upon Adriana's and Spike's comments. "But I really just think he might be lonely. Sometimes just having one friend isn't enough, right? And I get so busy with the animals most of the time that I can't keep him company."

Upon the little dragon's return from the library, however, the shy pony gasped. "What? Are you sure?" she questioned. "But who could have done such a thing? It couldn't have been Discord, could it? I thought Celestia's spell was still on them."

"Oh, come now, that's just plain rude," Discord sighed, shaking his head and 'tsk'ing at the unicorn's comment. "No need for hostility." He smiled and held up his talon and paw as Scorching Quill used his magic to release the pegasus, offering up no resistance whatsoever.

The pegasus, on the other hand, seemed more terrified than ever. He suddenly seemed to find his voice. "W-W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" he yelped, frantically struggling, eyes wide with fear. "P-PUT ME DOWN!"

"Dear me! That's right; since you're new here, you didn't know Gypsy was afraid of magic, did you?" the trickster laughed, turning to lie on his slender stomach in the clouds. "Just as much my magic as unicorn magic. He's rather prejudiced against unicorns, actually, from what I understand." He studied his claws patiently. "I really think you've gone and made things worse. As they say, 'no good deed goes unpunished', mm?"

Gypsy was yelling so loud by then that Discord was almost having trouble speaking over him. Indeed, as good as Scorching's intentions might have been, there seemed to be some truth to Discord's words.

Scorching Quill, meanwhile, had his hooves more than full. He hadn't had the time to react to Golden Gypsy before another pegasus had appeared, then disappeared just as fast. He diverted his attention away from the younger one and gripped Adrianna with his horn, his front hooves dangling off of the edge of the cloud. He had lunged to catch her before she fell out of his range, and nearly fallen off the cloud.

For pony's sake, get up here! He groaned, trying to pull his head up. A blue mist began to float off of his horn as the strain increased. It wound down to her in a long tendril that solidified into a blue rope.

Gypsy shot up through the clouds as Scorching Quill directed his magic elsewhere. When the piebald pegasus recovered from his fright, however, he realized that there was another pony in trouble. The unicorn seemed to be doing his best to help with his magic, so Gypsy Gold didn't think he needed to interfere. Just in case, though, he kept an eye on them all, hovering close by. There was a reason he didn't trust magic.

((Awful lot of characters to control, eh, Wasibru? I've been there before, it's tough. I commend you! Lemmie warn you, I won't be on tomorrow, in all likelihood. Mind having Discord zap me outta sight for a little bit?))

Seeing the balloon, Scorching Quill, shook his head. He swung Adrianna back and forth, as well, and she gained a little momentum. He grunted again with the effort, leaning even further off of the cloud to make sure of the trajectory, then let go. He watched her drop through the air and into the balloon, then gripped his head as his horn exploded in a shower of sparks, the rope shaddered into smoking shards of energy, and he slipped through the cloud that he was standing on. As he fell, his still-badly-sparking horn exploded again, creating another rope that left him hanging below the balloon.

He seemed to take a moment to collect himself, then started climbing, hoof over hoof, upwards. His horn now seemed to have worn off its red color as if it were only a layer of makeup, exposing a dark blue underneath.

Darn it, Discord! Look at what you made me do!

((@Eclipse - Well, that's...4? XD I've done more before, so it's not so bad, but thank you. If anyone else thinks I'm hogging too many canon characters, I can always stop playing one or more, but since we have so few people to get the rp going, I felt the need to take on more roles.

Also, thanks for the warning! It's completely fine; take all the time you need. And I'll do what I can regarding the 'zapping out of sight' bit. ^_^; I need to think of a reason that he might do that.

I hope to hear again from you soon! I'm interested in learning more about Scorching Quill/Pennington Inkwell. <3 Seems like an intriguing character.))

"Moi?" The Dracoequus gestured to himself, pretending to seem offended. "Why, I didn't even lift a talon! Honestly, I know I tend to get a little restless from time to time, but this is free entertainment right here." He lay back as if relaxing on a few clouds and folded his mismatched arms behind his horned head.

"You ponies are doing all this on your own. I hardly even had to set anything in motion. Don't you realize how much fun we're having already? So much chaos and I've just been an innocent bystander. Or 'byflier', if you want to get technical."

He grinned at Gypsy Gold, who was still hiding behind a couple of clouds. "You see, Gypsy? You were right all along! You can't trust those tricky unicorns; this one's no different." Discord pointed his tail at the writer. "He's obviously hiding something. What business has he got in a pegasus place like this, anyway? He doesn't belong here."

Grinning at the ponies in the balloon, he sat up on his makeshift cloud lounge. "Nor do the rest of you. You want to fix everything so badly? Why not keep order and start with staying where you belong as earth ponies? On earth."

With a sharp, playful jab of his eagle talon, Discord punctured the hot air balloon so that it started deflating rapidly, flailing about in mid-air as it descended in a zig-zag motion across the sky, gradually drifting toward the ground.

"DISCOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRD!!!!!!!!" Adrianna was now keeping hold of the balloons fabric at the top. First, she was yelling at Discord to give her back her wings, which were still gone, to hurdling towards the earth at crazy speed. Then, she hit the ground, but couldn't see anything. She was surrounded by darkness. "S-Scorching? Forest? She called out.

She couldn't understand that she had just now blacked-out and was on the ground, unconscious in front of the balloon. She was scared...alone...cold...hurt...and hungry, all while in a dark room. She began to cry, for the though of being alone in the dark had scared her to death, since it was her biggest fear and all. "P-please...somepony...anypony answer me...I-I-I can't s-s-stand the d-darkness a-a-and the t-thought of b-b-being alone. H-H-H-Help. Puh- Please!" She said in between sobs.

"AUDRY!" Spike had been under so much stress that he began to break down into tears at the sight of Adrianna's hit to earth. He knew that she was unconscious , and he began to worry more than ever before. "Let's take her to a Hospital! No, Fluttershy! Can you take care and heal ponys like you can for animals? Please! She is seriously injured right now and she might die! HELP ME SAVE HER LIFE, PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE!" He begged everypony around him, still letting some tears flow in worryment.
