"Hey why is your picture bigger?" "Why because I am the meister here!"   Hal Chaotic and Lucy Solari Hal smiled a bit at Adriana's attempt to open up as they bickered. "She honestly didn't look like all that. We could've taken her out in like two hits anyway. Right Luce? Lucy sighed at the overestimation of her abilities but nodded to give Hal confidence in her. He rarely acted like this, mainly because he didn't trust most people, but it was nice when he did. In all honesty, Lucy had turned away a few people to keep Hal in a good mood. Not because he would beat people up if he wasn't in a good mood, she just liked seeing him smile carefree like he was right now. "I just realized that with all the commotion and moving around, we never did go to the park, did we?" Hal's jaw opened, then closed. He must have just realized it too. The pair then began to laugh at each other's reaction. "Well there will be other days, where all three of us can go without distraction, right?" He nudged Adriana, implying that he had wanted her to come too. He decided that he would help his fellow stray person, and he would try really hard to become her friend not just in title. "I think that's crap and you know it!" "But your name goes first... Hal! Calm down! The wall is innocent!"

Adriana the Black Blood Adriana nodded contentedly at the invitation, and she forced her hand away as she smiled again, probably wider than either Lucy or Hal had ever seen. "I've never been to the park," she said quietly, but in a pleased tone. Maybe being normal wouldn't be so hard after all. "I'm sure it's very nice." She suddenly felt quite excited to go, but knew it would have to wait for another day. She knew her caretaker would be most displeased with her leaving the school unannounced twice in one day. As Hal nudged her, she actually felt an odd warmth in her cheeks. Strange indeed, but she shook her head and dismissed it as perhaps getting a virus while in town. Yes, that was probably it.

 Xyeek IchinisanXyeek looked over to the three friends as they converse over going to the park. He returned his gaze to the Death City, admiring the view of the scenery. He excited to start his first day. "I can't wait to start my first day. I wonder who'll my meister will be." he thought as he continue to stare at Death city. Xyeek then, stuck his right hand out as decided to practice a little with his elemental abilities. A small, circular current of air formed above his hand. It was very noticeable to others. He then, molded the current into the shape of a star by moving his fingers.

"Hey why is your picture bigger?" "Why because I am the meister here!" Hal Chaotic and Lucy Solari Lucy's face snapped toward her black blooded friend as she sensed a change in her soul. Not a bad one, in fact a very nice one. Lucy beamed, glad that she had finally gotten her friend to smile for real. Hal was too busy staring at her and blushing like an idiot. She was cute, and the smile didn't help. Neither of their smiles did. Lucy noticed it first. "Well maybe we should dress nice when go. Hal's blushing. Look." Hal immediately snapped his head forward as took look at the view, hoping that the sun would help block out the redness on his face. "I am not... That would imply that I have a heart wouldn't it?" He chuckled at his dark attempt at self-ridiculing humor. Lucy just grinned a little and whispered to Adriana, "He totally thought you were cute right there." Hal tensed as he hunched over to bury his face into his arms, only helping Lucy's plans move along. Although, he moved it there to hide the previous blush, seeing as he didn't hear what Lucy had whispered in his friend's ear. But he was curious as to why Lucy was giggling like an idiot. "I think that's crap and you know it!" "But your name goes first... Hal! Calm down! The wall is innocent!"

Adriana the Black BloodAdriana was merely confused by the odd shade of pink on Hal's face, and by Lucy's comments. She wasn't exactly educated on cultural things like blushing and cuteness, so it blew over her head like nobody's business. Finding it best not to voice her confusion, she just let another light chuckle escape her lips. "Cute?" she said through the tiny amount of laughter. "I can hardly believe that. Just this morning he wanted nothing to do with me." This she said in a light tone, as if to say "it's in the past, and I'm glad things are a bit different now." She certainly hoped that message had been conveyed, and Hal didn't end up taking it the wrong way.

Not because he was still blushing, but because they were making fun of him. It didn't help that they were now talking about him and pointing out very obvious things. Jeez, he shows emotion for two seconds and this is what it gets him? He has decided it isn't really worth it anymore. But the double meaning behind her words make him smile nonetheless, earning him another chuckle from Lucy. He opted to ignore her for the time being. "Hmph. If this is what I get for being nice, I might as well go on being a jerk." His tone could reflect the joking mood that he was in though and Lucy sighed; he could never be true to himself for very long, could he? "Well if you continue being a jerk, we won't have breakfast for dinner." He slumped somewhat in defeat, realizing that she wasn't kidding around when it came to his favorite food. "I think that's crap and you know it!" "But your name goes first... Hal! Calm down! The wall is innocent!"

Adriana the Black BloodI nstantly, Adriana stopped her chuckling. Her face turned apologetic as she didn't quite process that he was kidding. As reassuring as the smile was, she still felt the need to make amends. "I'm sorry, Hal," she told him, her voice a meek murmur. Then again, it was rarely anything different? She cocked her head to the side, her uneven pigtails swaying a bit, as she was a bit interested in Lucy's notion of having morning food in the evening. Her caretaker had never done such a thing, after all. "Why would you do that?" she finally questioned, looking puzzled. "Why is it anymore special to eat later in the day than earlier?"

Hal Chaotic and Lucy Solari Hal raised an eyebrow at the young black blood as she apologized, even though he had tried his hardest to make it sound like a joke. Sighing as she suddenly became very quiet. "It was a joke, Adr- Ana. I think Ana sounds better. Anyway, it's this magical thing called sarcasm, a form of humor." He then gasped in mock horror as she questioned the glory that was breakfast for dinner. Lucy giggled and answered the question for her shocked Weapon who couldn't speak. "Well Hal doesn't wake up early enough to make breakfast on most days when we have supplementary classes. Other days, I have to drag him out of bed. But I think he likes it the most because-" She stopped herself, not wanting to bring up bad memories for Hal. Not that he didn't remember every detail of his life, she just didn't want it to be at the forefront of his mind. "I think that's crap and you know it!" "But your name goes first... Hal! Calm down! The wall is innocent!"

Adriana the Black BloodWhile Adriana wasn't really a very culturally enlightened person, she did manage to pick up that it was a delicate subject, though she didn't understand why. Still, the fact that it was best not to talk about was good enough to make her nod and fake that she did understand. She couldn't help but smirk at all the nicknames she'd been given- Adri by Lucy, and Ana by Hal. Really it was just the two halves of her name split apart, so she didn't get why she liked it so much. Either way, she was contented by this; probably more contented than she'd felt since she was first welcomed to the school, and she no longer had to fear a lonely life. Being the blunt person she was, she couldn't help but basically blurt all this out. "Thank you both so much," she said with a sweet smile. "I'm so indebted for your kindness and friendship... and there's so little I can do in return."

"Hey why is your picture bigger?" "Why because I am the meister here!" Hal Chaotic and Lucy Solari Hal caught on to what Lucy was going to say, and thanked her silently for not saying it out loud. He would tell people his own story, the same way she would tell hers to others when she was ready to. He was too busy enjoying the view to really care though, but he did wonder what would have happened to him if he hadn't walked to the next town that day, if he never got here, never got to meet these two people who made it okay to trust others. So when she thanked them, the smile on his face got a little wider as Lucy squealed and hugged her friend. "You don't really have to do anything, silly goose. As long as we're friends, just hanging out like this is enough." Hal agreed with that wholeheartedly. "Just take your time. You don't have to open up right away, there's no rush after all." He repeated the same advice Lucy had given to him the first in Death City, where he would always be avoiding her, always afraid to speak to her. After she told him that, he slowly began opening up to her. He hoped this would help his friend too. "I think that's crap and you know it!" "But your name goes first... Hal! Calm down! The wall is innocent!"

Adriana the Black BloodAdriana stiffened in surprise when Lucy suddenly hugged her again, but relaxed much more quickly this time, and even managed to pat the girl on the back, smiling softly all the while. "Saying that doesn't stop me from feeling like I owe you," she chuckled quietly, a small blush appearing on her cheeks. It may have been faint, but against her pale skin it was quite flamboyant. She glanced up at Hal and nodded appreciatively, but her face had gone a bit blank as a few painful images flashed before her eyes. She repressed a shudder, and kept her emotion constant, so as not to worry her friends. Huh... it felt nice, that word in her head. Friends. Had she had friends in her old life? She shook her head, not wanting to think about it, but the look on her face was noticeably more stoic than it had been a second before. "So, what do we do now?" she asked, clearing her throat a bit before she got all choked up. "I mean... what do friends do...?" She felt silly asking it, but she couldn't afford to just assume things in a position such as hers.

Hal Chaotic and Lucy Solari Lucy smiled as she pulled away, glad to see her friend smiling, even if she appeared to be slightly embarrassed. "Well I didn't do anything special, but Hal kinda did." Hal frowned at her with a glare and responded with, "You know I can be friendly too, ya know. I just don't like most people." Lucy grinned deviously as she turned Adriana to look at Hal. "So you're saying you like her, huh?" Hal just about blew steam out of his ears as he turned to view the Death City skyline. "Friends make fun of each other like this, but we mostly just hang out, like we're doing now. It isn't the hard, no reason to over complicate things... unless making fun of Hal." He glared at her, the blush fading from his face. He really needed to stop getting flustered like this. "I think that's crap and you know it!" "But your name goes first... Hal! Calm down! The wall is innocent!"

Adriana the Black BloodAdriana smiled, then stared at her shoelaces for a moment or two. Adriana was glad that Hal liked her, definitely. At least, that's what Lucy had said, and who could've known him better than his partner? "Oh. Well, if it's that simple, I can't possibly mess it up," she mused lightheartedly with a nervous little chuckle... no, it's pitch made it more of a giggle, which was something she'd never done, in her memory. This sent an especially thick rush of heat into her face, but she tried her best to ignore it. She faked a cough and held her balled hand over her mouth in an attempt to hide the flush as she continued. "... Would you mind if... sometime... I came to visit you at your home? I live here at the school... but it's so quiet after Miss Yukino leaves to return to her own living quarters," she told them, in order to direct attention away from her burning face.

"Hey why is your picture bigger?" "Why because I am the meister here!" Hal Chaotic and Lucy Solari Hal sighed, noticing that Adriana did not get what was implied in what Lucy was saying. It was fine with him, but if the young black blood didn't get the teasing, it just made him feel uncomfortable; which he wasn't okay with. He smiled when she made a noise similar to a giggle, and then responded to her previous statement. "It seems easy, but if it isn't with the right people, it becomes difficult, even for Lucy." She sighed at the thought of all those pervy people that attempted to take advantage of her kindness. She shook the thought out of her head though when Adriana started to speak to hide her blush. "You can come whenever you want. As a matter of fact, we have a spare room, don't we? Maybe we can get permission from Lord Death and you can stay with us!" She clapped her hands together with her great idea. "Besides, that way you can see Hal whenever you want and he can see you too. Hal glared at his Meister as she continued on. "After all you two totally like each other!" Hal facepalmed as Lucy looked like this piece of information was actually viable. "I think that's crap and you know it!" "But your name goes first... Hal! Calm down! The wall is innocent!"

Adriana the Black BloodOnce again, Adriana found herself confused with all the secrecy and past-references. Still, two things stopped her from asking- her respect for her friends' privacy, and the fact that it'd make her quite the hypocrite, as she was wary of revealing more of her own shady past to them just yet. Then a bright look of hope dawned on her face at Lucy's offer, and this time she could neither repress a wide grin, nor even think about hiding it with her hand. "Really...? You'd do that?" she murmured, awed by their generosity. As much as she wanted to take this offer right away, seeing as being alone at night in that dark, soulless school scared her out of her wits, she wondered how her caretaker -practically her adoptive mother- would react. She would surely need to be consulted, but that was a matter that could be dealt with later. "... I would be honored," she finally added, biting her lip to keep herself from smiling too much like a giddy fool.
