...and inevitably, the beauty becomes lost in the chaos." __________________________________________________________________________________Edgar wiggled his nose a bit, not really feeling anything too unpleasant. He started to protest her help at first, but then the ointment the lady had put on him felt absolutely lovely so he said nothing. She was the nurse after all, and the pain from his ankle was barely noticeable now. "Nah, not really. It probably just got banged up a bit, nothing too serious. Thank you, miss." He thought back to the events that had come to pass. A nap in the library, a need for adventure, which led outside the library and right to... "Ah, well, it's kind of funny actually. Well, funny to others not to...me because I'm pretty used to this kind of thing happening." he rushed the second half of the sentence by her really quickly, either trying to hide his embarrassment or trying to get to the point more quickly. "You know the hallway outside the library? It has this really, really gorgeous design on the molding near the ceiling~ Unfortunately it also has this really, really long staircase at the end of the hallway which I managed to trip down at a terrible angle and then-" He smiled lamely and gestured towards his bandaged ankle. __________________________________________________________________________________ -Edgar H. Slightly Amused/Sympathetic  When Edgar told her he didn't feel too much pain she smiled relieved a bit it wasn't broken. At least she wouldn't have to hold him any longer than she had to. Kurori motioned for him to continue while she went back over to grab just a couple more things: A small zip lock bag-let, a little ice for it and two long stem swabs. She continued to listen while he explained the incident wheeling over a small stool for her to take a seat on. She offered him the ice to place on his nose and kept the swabs between her fingers while he finished his story. It was pretty funny that all this came about from a sudden enthusiasm for adventure. Boys will be boys after all. She wouldn't laugh aloud but mentally imagining it certainly helped her maintain her smile.
"Geeze, that trip down the stairs is certainly adventurous in its own right. I would tell that story with some ninjas, an alien, and a couple of pretty girls. It'd make for a pretty sweet story with your friends." At least she'd think so. Then again she was an older woman with the sense of humor of a fourteen year old. Some thought that was pretty attractive. She held up the swabs for him when she finished joking with him. "Here, be careful with them. You're a big boy so i fgured you'd rather clean your own nasal cavity. It'd better to get the blood out this way instead of blowing. You'll just agitate the blood vessels. So, since i'll have to give your ankle time to rest before i can release you. Wanna tell me more about yourself? If you want you can ask me some questions in return to be fair."

He grinned warmly. "The aliens seem rather unnecessary, but sure I could say I was admiring the crown molding and suddenly I was stepping on something squishy, the body of a dead ninja. But who killed this ninja? Was it the alien? The hot babe standing suspiciously in the corner? No, it was..." At this point he noticed the lady was handing him something and stopped in the middle of his musing monologue. He looked a little taken aback at the cotton swabs. Clean his nasal cavity? He never did that before after a nosebleed, since there never seemed to be a need. The blood wasn't getting in the way of breathing anyways. He took the swabs and held them in his hand, then chuckled a bit at the thought of two swabs sticking out from each of his nostrils. "Thanks, I'm alright now. Hm...well I finally arrived here a day or two ago. Anything else you would like to know about me?" He responded, never letting his smile fade. Bittersweet Kurori couldn't help but maintain a smile as Edgar took her suggestion into consideration. It was very amusing to listen to him as he started to piece the tale together. When she gave him the swabs he seemed to be honest when he told her he was fine so she didn't press the matter as she just sat to converse with him. So he was only around for a couple of days...that was interesting. There seemed to be quite the crowd with the new batch of enrollments.
she perked up when Edgar asked her about why she became a nurse and she got remained quiet for a moment. Her eyes were always closed to it was difficult to tell why exactly. "Well, To be honest. It was just a much better career change from my previous profession. I went from a career as a bit of a mercenary who was trained deep on the mountains of japan to this. I kind of snatched this gig because being trained the way I was since i was a little girl i am far too familiar with how the body works. I figured if i could use that knowledge for personal gain why not get personal fulfillment with helping people instead of hurting them? Not to mention i have the biggest soft spot for children. I truly love them and i always see myself as a big sister figure to a lot of the students here. Perhaps i'm just at that age to where i want a child of my own. Who knows? I'm not exactly in a situation to have one so i give my affection to you guys when you come to me for help. Does that make sense?" ※Thoughts※ Well It's the truth at least. I can't exactly tell him the whole truth though...

He smiled at how surprisingly human it was to want to fill a need with the next best thing. It seemed rather upsetting that someone who cared so much couldn't have children. Was she perhaps infertile? It didn't make sense that the reason she didn't have children was because she couldn't find anyone. Or it could be she did have someone, but that person died and she refused to find someone else. No, that couldn't be it. If she really wanted children there were plenty living around the streets to take in. Edgar knew this all too well. She did say she wasn't in a situation to have one. Well, it did make sense with work and all that it would be cumbersome to take care of a child. No wait, didn't she take this job because she loved children? That was only part of the reason, Edgar thought. Probably just an added bonus anyways. He thought it rather stylish to have a job that helped people. "I understand. Depressed Kurori expected him to be curious as to exactly why she wasn't allowed to be with child. She crossed her arms and tapped at her fore arms a bit as she thought about just what to say to him. The truth was she just wasn't allowed to because of who or rather what she was. Especially since she was technically imprisoned within death city and always under watch by the other teachers. It was a rather depressing sad way to live but she was just grateful to be alive. "Well, I'm just not really able to. It's a little hard to explain." She nodded as she spoke.
"I know it's not much of a reason but lord death just thinks its best i do not have children. It's very unlike him to alter the course of someones fate. He is death after all but he feels that if i were to get pregnant I, my child, or the both of us would perish...So i don't want to disobey for fear of my child being still born due to my own selfishness. Even if the baby survives the birthing...i 'm sure I wouldn't." Her voice was riddled with a tone that expressed profound sadness. She absentmindedly began to trace her fingers above her womb. "To never see my child's face or to force my baby to live in a worth without it's mother is cruel...Yet its probably my just desserts for all my sins..." She tried to force a smile but it wouldn't form in a convincing manner. "Is there anything more you wish to know?"

"Hey why is your picture bigger?" "Why because I am the meister here!"   Hal Chaotic and Lucy Solari If someone paid really close attention, they could hear loud footsteps and a voice. Hal had dashed throughout the school, while Lucy was attempting to calm him down. "Hal, don't you dare-" Her voice was cut off when he kicked the door open with a loud bang. "She needs help. Fix her." While his expression of normalcy didn't change, the girl in his arms and the look in his eyes told a different story: Something along the lines of 'I don't care, what you do, but I'm begging you, please help her! Although, he wouldn't admit that out loud. "I think that's crap and you know it!" "But your name goes first... Hal! Calm down! The wall is innocent!"

Adriana the Black Blood Adriana hung limply in Hal's arms, completely unaware of where she was, or precisely who was carrying her. She was so out of it that she had to think really hard to remember how'd she'd been knocked out in the first place, despite the fact that it had happened but a few moments ago. Whoever was carrying her, she decided, sure seemed to be in a rush. The motion alone was enough to elicit a feeble sound that was somewhere between a whimper and a meek cry for help. All she knew for sure was that her head was throbbing, her body ached all over, and the erratic motions were starting to slow down as they entered the Nurse's office.

 Xyeek IchinisanXyeek followed Hal and Lucy to the nurse's office as he rushed along with them to the doors. He stopped next the two with Adriana in Hal's arms and the doors kicked opened. Despite hardly knowing this girl, Xyeek was really worried for her well-being. It doesn't matter if he hardly knows anything about her, when someone was in trouble the young weapon would be there to help. Xyeek looked up to Lucy. "I followed you here to see if she's alright." The boy said to the meister.

While waiting for Edgar to respond to her once more she heard the door behind her burst open. My, what a busy day...She stood up to face the students with her arms crossed as she examined the girl in the young boys arms. Judging by the frantic look in his eyes he seemed to be rather close to the girl, though she could be wrong. She motioned for him to place her down on one of the free beds and walked up to lucy. "Your friend seems to be rather upset so i won't bother him just yet. Perhaps you can tell me what happened to that student."
Kurori turned away from Lucy expecting her to follow and explain. When Xyeek entered the room she put her hand out for him to stay put. "You stay there. She doesn't need a lot of people crowding her and i''ll need room to examine the student."

I know it must be very hard to know that...." he told her sympathetically. She truly seemed to love children. How beautifully tragic. His attention turned sharply to the approaching footsteps and yelling voices. "Looks like you have more patients to take care of~" The door banged open, and in came a girl with bright blue eyes and boy carrying another girl with long black pigtails who obviously seemed to be in pain. A meek looking boy with lovely goggles on top of his head came rushing after them as well. What had happened? Well, the girl seemed almost unconscious, high agony, possibly a blow to the head, Edgar reasoned and eagerly awaited the diagnosis. Xyeek IchinisanXyeek nodded to to Kurori when she told him to stay outside. "Ok, but can you please let me know when she's alright?" He asked the nurse. The young boy walked outside office and stood by the door, waiting for any update on how Adriana is doing. Xyeek was certain the nurse can help her. She is the school's nurse after all.

Hal Chaotic and Lucy Solari If Hal could ever feel more pathetic in his life, he might as well be a tumbleweed; something that floats about and no one cares about it. She had seen that he was visibly shaken by the fact she was hurt, and that had slightly irked him because he didn't hide his expression well enough. He walked slowly over to the nearest available bed and laid her down gently, then sat down in the seat next to it, not bothering to look away from her for a moment. If he were faster, maybe if he was in a different form, he could have stopped this. Even though she hadn't died, this was the first time a friend of his was really hurt, and not even the 25 souls he had collected from it was satisfying. Meanwhile, Lucy was shocked at Hal's lack of energy. He never acted this way, save for when he wakes up in the morning, so it shocked her that he was acting so... lethargic. She was pulled from her little reverie when the nurse walked over. When the nurse had asked the meister what had happened, her expression changed to a little grimmer than it had been earlier. "We were attacked by a Kishin Egg not to far from the school, and she... I don't know when it happened but she must have went flying and hit her head. We found her unconscious lying next to the boy from earlier, the one you sent outside... And poor Hal is beating himself up over that." Given the fact that Hal was showing real emotion, she would've been happy, but this situation did not call for happiness unless she was alright. "I think that's crap and you know it!" "But your name goes first... Hal! Calm down! The wall is innocent!"

Kurori nodded to Xyeek while she listened closely to what Lucy was explaining to her about the girl's condition. That was really odd...There was a kishin egg so close to her and she didn't catch onto it? She must've been too deep into her own troubles to realize it. Great, she would never hear the end of this from the old man. Actually where the hell was he while the students were being hurt? Some 'three-star meister' he is. Kurori started to check the girl out and her breathing seemed to be fine aside from being a little irregular from pain. Under normal circumstances Kurori would have scolded them for moving the girl instead of coming to get her first but due to the situation it was probably better to get her out of harms way.
She slowly pointed to Hal trying not to alarm him. His silence was a little troubling so she figured she should ask him for assistance to try and make him feel better. "I need you to do me a favor. Can you hold her head steady and straight? Don't try to force it or you might hurt her neck and if she already has an injury there that won't be good. Be gentle with her. Can you do that for me?"
While she waited for Hal to assist her she brought her attention back to lucy. "Do you know this students name? I might need you to grab her medical records. If i need to give her any pain medication I'd like to know if she isn't allergic to anything. Any thing you know would be of great help."

As he listened to her instructions, he merely nodded and got to work on holding her head. He figured it was most likely a vertebrae issue or maybe just to stop her from squirming when they stuck her with whatever needle. But that didn't matter to him; all that mattered was that they would fix her up. He wouldn't be able to live, knowing that he failed one of his first friends. "No squirming, or I'm pinching your nose, you got that?" He muttered so that only she could hear him, assuming that unconscious people actually do hear everything going around them. Lucy, meanwhile, was answering the doctor's questions. "Her name is Adriana Verosith. She's a black blood, just in case that's important. Um... She isn't allergic as to anything as far as I know..." Lucy bit her lip while concentrating. "And that's all I know off the top of my head... Oh! Are the files in the same place?" She pointed to a file cabinet in the corner, while walking toward it and then attempting to open it. "I think that's crap and you know it!" "But your name goes first... Hal! Calm down! The wall is innocent!"
