The waiter didn't want to go back to that table. He really didn't want to go back to that table. It was like a circus act waiting to happen over there, with the Strongman and Old Man Gypsy. And when there were a few too many weird people in one place, there was always going to be a monster around the corner. Or under their table, if he was particularly unlucky.
But the manager was prodding him. There was food to deliver. Needless to say, it was some of the quickest service he had ever given, with the mumble to let him know if they still needed anything barely even heard. He was lucky that what they ordered was relatively easy to remember -- big guy with the entire menu, magical man with the sliders. There was almost a slip-up on who had ordered which fries, but as soon as that had been fixed he made a beeline straight back to the counter.
Kurma made an immediate grab for the tabasco sauce and began dumping it all over his tiny sandwiches. "Sounds like you got most of it right," he was saying, as he made another generous pass of his favored condiment over his fries.
"From what I've heard, the Moon royalty were a powerful force in the fight against Chaos -- what the Negaverse calls Metallia around these parts." It was a slow-spoken explanation so far, at least, since the man felt the compulsion to pause and enjoy more of his food every sentence or so. "There's Li'l Moon... Sailor Chibimoon... around now, but she don't got the same power. And the other Moon folk ain't around. So there were senshi looking for 'em, but it didn't work out." He shrugged. It didn't really matter much to him. The Serenities had played their role, and it wouldn't be continued today.
"And as for that other thing, that's kinda weird... isn't the Earth its own place already?"
