Katharine watched him and let him finish before she smiled, "I'm Katharine. I'm your best friend." She said softly.

"ka. . . th-tha.. . .rine. . . ." He said slowly and winced, leaning his head against the concrete floor as his memories were fighting to return "y-your. . . .your. . . .v-voi. . .ce. . . . .f-familiar. . . . . .r-ringing. . . .in m-my head. . . ." he groaned before he looked up when the scientists came in, grabbing his shoulders to lift him up "n-no! get o-off me!!"

"Yes.... Remember me Loki." She then gasped when the scientists came in, "Let him go! Don't hurt him!" she screamed and kicked her leg out to hit one of them.

one of the men slapped her to try and keep her under control, but it made Loki snarl and lash out, biting into his neck and ramming him into the wall when he got onto his feet. The other scientists race to try and pry off the ghoul "I've never seen that before" the head scientist said as he came in "it seems he's become attatched to you miss Katharine"

Katharine had cried out when she was slapped then looked up at the man in fear, "Why are you doing this to him?" She asked watching Loki struggle.

"Because it is my job to study the strange or in his case, the monsterous. But we have been trying to any type of reaction for a long while now. you're the first thing he's reacted to" the man said before walking out as Loki struggled, looking up at Katharine before the doors closed on him

Katharine looked at them before hanging her head and crying. She had no idea if it was good that he was reacting to her or if it was bad. All she knew was that her life was not in her hands anymore.

another hour came and went before Loki was dragged into the room, his head hanging down as they dropped him and rechained him to the floor. he had burns on his head as stirred and opened his eyes again ". . . ka. . tha. . .rine. . .." he muttered out before coughing

In that hour Katharine had tried to rest as much as she could. When the door opened she jumped awake and looked down, "Loki. Are you alright? Did they hurt you?" She asked getting worried about him.

Katharine laughed softly, "Yeah.... Four months ago. I broke my arm. It hurt and I was crying. You told me that if I cried anymore you would break your arm so I wouldn't be alone anymore." She said softly.

He said quietly before laying back down, letting his hair cover his eyes as he curled up against the cold floor "I. . . want to. . . .remember. . . .w-who I. . .was." he muttered before falling asleep out of exhaustion. two men came in seeing that katharine was still alive and whole and let her down, letting her rest in the unused bed with her hands still bound

Katharine didn't struggle with the men. When they left she got up out of the bed and walked over to Loki unafraid. She sat down near him and pulled his head into her lip with her hands bound. "Its ok Loki... you'll remember one day.... until then... I'll be here..." she said softly petting his hair.

he breathed slowly in her lap but turned his head, leaning into her hands and curling into her despite his body being bound in the jacket. he seemed to relax with his hair pet as he slept soundly until morning came around.
when the sun came in through the barred windows, Loki groaned and his eye fluttered open lightly to see where Katharine was

Katharine was sleeping her head above his. She still had his head in her lap and her hands were still in his hair.
