After he had stuffed his face with many berries, wiping his face, he realized he had the gunk all over his face, beard and armor. Drawing his canteen he was himself with the water. Then put it back on his side. "I am sure you will find what you seek." He said kindly as he grabbed her hand quite softly. "Though it won't be here! Don't worry, I already know a good place we can look! I here white kingdom is a very fair place! Along with a few rumors of strong fighters passing through!" He thought of what adventures he might have with this wonderful blade. "If you want on the way. I can sharpen you up, so that you won't look so chipped and bent when we get there."

He let go as he assumed she wanted to travel in her human form. "Then onward! To new adventure!" He said as he marched off towards White Kingdom (3 day hike. we can make another post somewhere in this domain or the white castle to show time passage.) Then to make sure she was still following. He turned his head, then waved for her to come after.

After half an hour of wanderig through the crows of standed families, fallen buildings, and other miscellaneous things, they arrived at the gates of a park. Rowan pushed the gate open and walke inside, looking around. The trees were charred, and the grass dead. The fountain in the center was broken, all except the statue in the center. It was pretty messed up. But a good place to train. She turned towards Frederick. "This will do." she said.

She nodded. Rowan thought for a moment, seeing his swords. "Would you mind if I borrow one?" she asked. "The first spell is fairly basic. It requires a degree of concentration, however." she said. "I'm certain you will learn it."

Rowan took the sword, struggling a bit once she did. It was heavy! Rowan examined the sword. "Magic is a special energy source within most living creatures. It's Arcane. There are two things required in order to cast a spell, focus and drive. If you tap into that energy source withig you, you can manipulate it. First, you send your energy towards the sword." she said. Rowan focused her energy, yet her sword remained the same. "Next, you try to expand that energy as much as you can. Once you do, comes the second part. The strongest spells are cast because of immense motivation. Imagine your purpose for casting the spell. Who you want to protect, how badly you want to protect." she said. The sword glowed faintly as Rowan spoke. "Next... You take all that energy and change it. Imagine it become a shield at your comand. Expand the energy into a bubble aound you all at once." she said. Rowan took a small breath. "Escudo!!" the energ expanded into a clear bubble of swirling energy around her, protecting her. She looked towards Frederick and called it off. "Now, you try." she said.

Rowan smiled once the shield rose, and nodded when he finished. "Excelent! It did. Just try to hold it a bit longer next time, if you have the energy. It's meant to last up until five seconds." she said. "It should be able to protect you very well from any attack." she said. "Want to test it out?" she asked.

"It will just drain you of Arcane energy." she said. "However, everyone has a limit to how much Arcane limit they can use. Once you reach closer to that limit, your body will begin to take the toll. It's crucial that you don't go pas that point, or you'll be in risk of developing summoner's sickness. Summoners sickness can lead to death. It hapenes when the user uses more energy than they can afford. It comes in stages. The first are painful, but tollerable. The stages after that have irreversible conditions. But I don't think you can get it if you use this spell, unless you use it a couple dozen times with no breaks."
