FortMinor_LPDisciple Amissa FortMinor_LPDisciple Amissa What's up with cats? I was just thinking about this and I was wondering if cats have some kind of enhanced psychic ability or what. It's just that there's a lot of mystery behind them. In movies and mythology they are often seen as very connected to the spiritual realm. I've also heard that they're immune to demon possession and stuff like that. Cats also have a very active third eye chakra. So what do you think? Why are cats so special anyway? 'cause dogs sinned and lost thier powers to the cat Are you serious? Where'd you hear that? You aren't teasing me are you? stare i was just kidding Lol I knew it rolleyes

Amissa Shore_Angel_Rebirth I was just thinking tho, why do neg entities dislike cats but don't mind dogs so much? That's what I've heard, but I've never had a dog. My cat's a jerk, so it's perfectly understandable why no spirit would want to mess with him. Most living people don't want to mess with him... But I think dogs can be guardians against those kinds of things too, depending on the dog. My house is surrounded by forests and there's lots of scary things that come out of there at night. Even my dad who doesn't believe in ghosts won't let me out there when it's dark because he says, "There's more than varmits (critters like raccoons and porcupines) in those woods." But my neighbors have a great big dog who's a sweetheart and he barks when there's trouble. When me and my friends were out there at night we heard footsteps coming towards us (even though it was like midnight and no one was out but us eek .) They followed us all the way back to the house until we got close to the barking dog, then they stopped. However, my friend has a rat terrier, and personally, I'd never want to count on him for spiritual protection. stare I think it depends on the personality of the dog and how spiritually inclined he may be. Lol lazy dog rolleyes
My chihuahua used to bark at the kitchen every day at exactly midnight. Hasn't done it in a while thank goodness sweatdrop

Kaistine In the toilets in my house(Right next to my room) there's a ghost that keeps banging the d**n toilet seat at midnight I just let my cat outside of my room and my cat goes straight into the toilets and does its thing. One time I followed it in and she hissed at the area above the toilet. After a few minutes I saw a shadow run through me and down the stairs. My cat rubbed against my leg triumphantly. Good kitty 4laugh *pets cat*

I love cats! I have had two of my own, and one passed on a few years back crying but I adopted a new one, she's kind of old but I love her. Is it possible for two cats to have the same reaction to a house that may or may not have spirits within without being in tune with the paranormal? Could it just be a coincidence(sp?)?

He sits quietly and watches me, but once he stuck his nose in a candle flame. lol

AlexandraAnn Is it possible for two cats to have the same reaction to a house that may or may not have spirits within without being in tune with the paranormal? Could it just be a coincidence(sp?)? I think they would have to be at least somewhat in tuned to the paranormal, but I think everything and everyone is somewhat in tuned. I just suspect that cats are a bit more in tuned. It could be a coincidence, but I doubt it.

I just think that there's something special about cats because of the attention that they received in past cultures, mythology, and even modern culture. They're psychisism is reknowned far and wide above normal humans and animals. The question is, why?

I think all animals are more psychic than humans. Just like kids. You know you always hear about them seeing things more often than adults. Because they don't know whats 'right' or that seeing spirits isn't logicial. Animals are probably the same.

Eurus_Dri My cat used to just kinda stare at a spot when nothing was there, but cats do wierd stuff like that It freaks me out when cats do stuff like that, but what freaked me out even more was when my cat started hissing at thin air. Also, since many people think that the egyptians were or were helped by aliens, perhaps cats were not from earth in the first place, perhaps they were some alien pet or something. That would explain how they seem to have some sort of special abilities. As for other animals, i've always wondered how they start getting agitated when something bad is about to happen, cats included (eg. rats running around a ship when it starts to sink, or bolting for the mine entrance when it is about to collapse).

All animals have a special ability to sense things. Like when the Tsunami hit Asia, they made an hour special on t.v. about how all the animals in the area moved far inland about an hour before the Tsunami hit land. And how some of the captive creatures freaked out.
I believe that it's not just cats, but most animals. And that it DOES depend on the animal, just like people. Some people can see ghosts others can't.
I think my cat has a slight sense... He always stares at a certain place..>.>; So I think he really CAN sense the spirit in my house.
