Belle awoke in her golden room. Her favorite color after all was yellow. Sadly she had no beautiful colored clothing. Her room was an off white rather than a pure yellow, she didn't have any clothing that was yellow either. Only blue and white. The rest of the village didn't have that color. She liked her village though even if they had cast her out the day she went to the bookstore. She loved the bookstore, as many books as she wanted for free to take, you only had to return them.
She had been reading of princes and princesses of myth and fact, of love and crisis. As a child she was extra ordinarily smart. Her vocabulary and mind had extended farther than any of the girls she knew. There was only a school for boys and she didn't understand why but she thought she could be just as included. But there were only four boys she heard of in it and it was really expensive, most men and boys around here were hunters, bakers or sales men. Nothing that included REAL mind work.
She brushed her chocolate curls into a azure ribbon and got ready to do her weekend chores as her mother was in her shed working on another, "project." Her mother was an inventor and she loved making things for Belle it seemed to make her give her a warm feeling that she hadn't felt in years.
