if you like her attitude then you should check out whorehouse of representitives. she will rip your head off. but as well for voices, check out tsunami bomb. shes a pretty good singer. and theres a second singer in there i think thats pretty good. i dont listen to them too much though

I think there should be more girls in rock bands some of my favourite bands have girls in them like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs theyre great my friends have a "band" that is all girls not that they invite me crying but I'm not really bothered since the only good person in there is Toni so yeah anyway I'd love to hear some of your bands music I love new bands specially female ones

GrimlyFiendish Tempestuous16 hey ya'll I'm a chick in a band that plays mostly rock and the other band members are 2 of my 3 older brothers and we've stuck together for so long that we decided to put our musical talents together and make some money off of it and me ....haha yea well tell me what you think of a chick in a band (preferably rock but whatever floats your boat).....hit me back Theres not enuff of them gonk They're virtually non-existent! Most women in music are either pop-bimbos or shock-rock idiots gonk We need a revolution! domokun I totally agree with you..

evilbrainbabies some good female fronted punk bands that i know of are: (CC Edit: Some big list of bands...) i cant think of anything else at the moment... but remember they are all punk and hardcore stuff... so most people wont like them probably x_x i love them though I don't mind some of those bands, a lot I have a high degree of respect for, such as x-ray specs and Marion's integrity to avoid 'image' (well she isn't that attractive anyways). But yeah, in general, bands that avoid having a distinctive image (I like bands who have a distinctive style, not image) have a higher consistancy of making good music. It's a shame when some girl's try to go for some sort of 'sex symbol' image.

yes. some female fronted bands are too much for me sometimes. those sexist/feminist types strongly get on my nerves. lunachicks have quite a few songs like that. but they are still reasonable to listen to. bands like tsunami bomb are too... poppy for me. although that singer has alot of talent. but is shitty when she plays live. theres always the japanese noise band malt banana. that singer is quite the interesting one... if you here r r a g g, you will probably either giggle a little, laugh your a** off, or ask what the hell it is. or like my freind, say it sounds like a monkey during mating season

Contagious Cure evilbrainbabies like a monkey during mating season Hey, nothing wrong with that... ninja that just reminded me of the man shoiw when they used to have the two monkeys 30 second short films... always a good laugh. in any case though, they are quite the interesting band. i have there 30000 mile album. i also noticed that there music has been in some shows like at the end of adult swims "12 oz mouse" also shannon911, be advised that you are spamming and that is not tollerated

i'm not a big fan of female singers (but i have no problem with them playing an instrument). it's not that i'm sexist or anything... it's just that their songs tend to be not my type of music.

Chicks in rock bands really goes to show a womens strength. i mean look at Joan Jet and Bif naked, they have kicked the world in the a** and proved to everybody that it is possible. Rock on man, and the best of luck to ya!

I don't think it really proves anything. Infact from what I have seen, female singers usually have the same two topics when singing. Love and Girl power. Which isn't a bad thing. But when you listen to the lunachicks talk about how they are all powerful and the same bullshit over and over and over again... gets annoying
