alright. ive got the basis posts set up. the special events one will get info added as soon as i can. (or you can, cause editing posts is easy)
not sure about posting it will the annual ball mule though, as i dont have access to it to be able to confirm any trades.

We can make sure people send trades to the fundraising mule~
If the Annual Ball gets any trades then I, or whoever is on it, can complete the trade and then send one to the fundraising mule saying what it is for and who originally sent it.
I would just like to see more threads made with the Annual Ball mule this year. If you really don't think it would be practical for the Casino then I am willing to listen to more reasons why, but seeing as how this is meant to be a BIG thread then I would like to use the Annual Ball account for it. I should have used her for the Donations thread, and I may still do that once the graphics come in, too.
I'll be talking to Moo about using her for the Hangout RP, too, so I'm not just picking on the fundraising committee heart

I think its a great idea. And I think I misread that, is why I was so hesitant about it.
I think by putting the Ball into the thread people might click the profile and thus be sent here. And if any trades do get sent to the mue, I'm sure they can stay there, as thats where all gold is going to in the end, they just need to be noted maybe in here so im not stopping people from gamblnig and having fun in the thread.
Sorry for misunderstanding a little bit, but yeah we can do that.
and ive added more to the testing thread and will hopefully fully edit it, and call it good.

We can for sure keep track of casino bets taken on the Annual Ball~
And if you need to contact someone about completing trades on the mule (though I'm pretty good, there could be times when I'm not online for a day or two) then both Lilchibiusa and Spottedteddybears have access to the mule smile

Hey Jesse, can we add one more game to the casino? I'd like to try a blackjack~
Gambling Fee: 500g (minimum bet)
Playing:
Players send trade. Once trade is complete the thread owner will generate a number between 1 & 21, quoting the player. This is their starting "card." Then the thread owner will generate another number between 1&21 - this is the dealer's card. The player can then either tell the thread owner to "hit me" or "stand." If he chooses "hit me" then the thread owner rolls again, generating a number between 1&21. This second number is added to the first. If the total is higher than 21, then the player has "busted" and loses his money. If the number is lower than 21 the dealer "hits" themselves, generating a number between 1 & 21. If the dealer goes "bust," the player wins. If not, the game continues with the same pattern. At any time the player may choose to "stand"; this freezes their value and the dealer continues to "hit" themselves until their cards total higher than the player's without totaling more than 21.
Winning:
When the dealer wins the player gets nothing. When the player wins he will get his bet plus 250g from the Casino. If the player gets blackjack (21) he gets his bet back plus 500g from the ball - 1000g total!
In order to make it work, the dealer will need to keep track of both hands in her post.
Also, since this is an active game, it should only be available when I am online so I can keep posting with the Annual Ball mule. This will make it a limited time only game and hopefully attract more people. We can advertise in the first post when the blackjack table is open.
How does that sound?

Would this in anyway conflict with the rule that the owners of the thread aren't allowed to gamble in it?
I wouldn't think it would especially since I'm assuming the Mule is actually posting the thread. Just being overly cautious I guess.

Hmm... I hadn't seen that rule in there. Better to be cautious!
As we haven't gotten many volunteers to moderate the thread this might be biting off more than we can chew, anyways.
