Hello! Sooo, what has happened? What has changed? Well, Yasashii is now expecting six little kits running around! That's right, babies. Embry and her mate have given birth to some little rascals, and finally the carers have something to do!
Okay, so, on another note. The tribe has gained a few members. Boniface, Embry's mate, will be arriving at the tribe soon, and Champagne will be returning in a few days/weeks. We're hoping some more foxes will join sometime!
The tribe is talking about meeting the Kemet tribe and perhaps allying. It's the tribes first meeting with another and everyone should be excited for this great time!
It's currently spring, and no events are coming up except meeting the Kemet tribe. Still, the tribe is preparing for the Ancient Ritual that will be happening during summer, and the tribe is quickly getting ready to spoil some kits!

Kithara couldn't contain herself. Not today, not the day she had been waiting for ages to come. No. She was mature, proudly so, but today was not the day. She was not going to let this chance pass to act like an excited kit who had just received their first human sweet.
The months before had been rough. Horrifically so... She had lost her beloved mate for some time due to some issues within their relationship, and promptly after that she had stumbled upon her "missing" brother and his ex-mate. The news that he had not only decided to stay beside his ex but also remate had kicked her right in the heart, and for a long time the vixen had both been against it for Elder reasons and simple sister reasons. No one could even begin to guess how long it took for her to even remotely accept the fact that Tenma liked Champagne. Time had passed, and eventually she warmed up to the idea, though she would forever hold her caution when it came to the two.
Then, in a whirlwind she learned of her cousins, her parents desire for even more children, and then she mated back to her ex. No longer could she view Tenma and Champagne with caution after the fact she had performed the same action. The events came all at once and left Kithara with little time to adjust. She was overwhelmed, and yet she gracefully accepted the events. After all, she wasn't Elder for no reason...
But now the tribes life and her own were perking up! Yasashii was to meet Kemet soon with the intention to ally, and one more event was leaving her thrilled. Children. Not her own, no. She doubted she have any for a long, long time. No. Embry was having little babies! The sweet girl who often caused Kithara to smile on a bad day was having little sweet hearts, and she was ecstatic. The tribe had never had a litter before! The first babies, and from someone so kind and loving.... What more could anyone want?
So, today Kithara was practically bouncing as she travelled to check in on Embry. She hadn't seen the girl in awhile, and she had no idea on the status of the pregnant woman. Ohhh, how good it was to be part of Yasashii~
 Tenma was avoiding his sister.
Now before anyone jumped to conclusions it wasn't because of her original disapproval of Champagne and him. It was for simpler reasons, such as the fact she was literally prancing about like a kitten chasing a ball of yarn. She was usually the mature one. The one who elegantly held her head up high and softly spoke. Nope, not today. He was watching the red fox skip across the field with an expression of curiosity and diswant. He did not want her to see him, she'd simply end up dragging him along.
He wasn't grumpy.... Ish. Okay, so life wasn't that great for him right now, but it also wasn't horrible. He had a mate who was avoiding her tribe due to a fear of being rejected, but she also was his sparkly princess. He constantly had to flip back and forth between her and his tribe, but this was okay because it was Paige. His princess. His beloved. The one he loved more than anything and perhaps anyone. Yes, they had fought a long time ago, and yes they had broken up. But even while he entered a new relationship it had always been her. She had always been in the back of his mind. He couldn't forget her, he couldn't erase her despite how he had tried. It had only been natural when they reunited and quickly became "together". She was his sparkly, bubbly, silly little queen. Even if currently she was depressed and scared...
But no, his life wasn't easy. He had to juggle the two most important things in his life. He desperately wanted Champagne to return to Yasashii. After all, Kithara had made it clear Paige was welcomed back. But the woman was frightened and had not made any move to budge.... It was a difficult time for both of them, and Tenma was in absolutely no mood to be roped into his sisters strangely child-like joy. He was happy for Embry, yes, but he was also.... mmm.... just not in the mood? When the kits came he would be happy, of course! Just, right now in he was stuck. Stuck and scared.
 She finally had a purpose.
Children. They were coming, and they would become her job. She was a carer, and while blind the woman would be an effective one. Embry was a carer as well, which meant that not only did the mother have more time with her kids than most but she'd be a wonderful mother. Still, Amy had some purpose in this event. She had some role, and this was honestly all that mattered to her right now.
The blind woman was confused with her life. She had lost the man she so loved awhile ago. That was what.... the fourth time someone walked out on her? She was alone for a time being, and then finally decided to simply embrace solitude and focus on her tribe instead of pity herself. Heck, she even made a deal with a woman named Xiu-Mei to bear the womans children if the 'Phim let Amy raise them. How unromantic was that? But, romance had absolutely no place in the foxes life. No one romantically loved her, and she was not someone to ever be needed or wanted in that way. Amy had accepted it finally. She was single, and single she'd stay.
Or.... so she had previously thought. She hadn't wanted love, she hadn't needed it either. She still didn't need it... But maybe she wanted it. There was a man in her life. No, not romantically, though maybe she wished it was. There was a man who had made her smile for the first time in months. He was a kind and gentle man, someone she cherished deeply. Someone she had been friends with for years. Someone she hadn't noticed in that way until very recently. He was both familiar and new to her.
His name was Iah.
A blush touched the dark foxes cheeks as the name entered her mind. Oh! How idiotic she was being.. When had romance ever worked for her? When had someone loved only her? Never. She might as well rid these stupid school girl thoughts and just focus on their friendship. But she couldn't help the little giggles that wanted to erupt and hot cheeks that would ignite when she remembered his name or heard his voice. Ah, luckily her fur was too dark to see said blush...
She needed to focus! What was she doing? .... Oh. Oh yes. She was going to check on Embry. Her tail swept behind her as she walked, making sure the blind woman knew where she was going. It didn't take long to hear heavy footsteps skipping. Judging by the weight it was most likely Kithara, though the woman never skipped.... Interesting.
"Embry?" Amy called, pausing in her footsteps when she quickly realized she had absolutely no idea where the woman was. "I know it's early, but could you make a noise so I can find you?" Being unable to see Amy needed other ways to locate another fox, and while smell often worked the field was reeking of the scent of flowers. She'd need to find the pregnant woman through sound.

 It was a cool breeze and Iah often found he liked to climb up his tree to look at everyone in the tribe lands. Kithara or embry often found him up here when he was really needed and it was a nice place to just feel the wind and observe. Normally one would think he should be extremely happy as his best friend well at least one of them in the tribe was going to have children, but he figured it wouldn’t do to swarm around her. He would see her eventually. He remembered briefly when they had first met and embry had come crashing down into him which eventually led him here to yasashii. He was glad that she had found someone special and she was having children. It seemed like all his important people had been having children.
Maybe he just wasn’t one of those that were meant to have children, it was okay. He had a family both in the tribe and had a twin sister with her own children out of the tribe that he constantly visited. However it wasn’t to say that he didn’t have any one special in his heart he did. He was really close to Amy. However her previous attempts at trying to find true love had made her understandably closed off to mating again. He was just fine with being her friend as she seemed to need it, he would leave it up to her on what she wanted to do. Speaking of which Amy must be happy to finally have something to do, he knew she had felt bad since there hadn’t been any kits born in the tribe yet. Plus Iah should probably make up some safe remedies to help with sickness and other problems that accompanied pregnancy. “Alright Iah off to do some work”
