Robert parked his car in the parking lot and stepped out. He whistled lightly and said "Brody, where are you?" He had been looking for his possibly undead friend for a week now, he slowly slid into the mall making sure to shut the door behind him, "That idiot probably got bit, serves him right." Robert began to look around, he eventually found an old food place, "Bet Brody went in here, Fatass cant resist food and he probably wont be able to resist my brains when I find him."

An armored vehicle of interesting design stopped a few blocks away from the mall, the .50 cal turret on top looking for targets. Inside, Former US Army Captain Lucius Wolf looked around when he heard gunshots from the mall. He looked to his co-pilot, a wolf/dog hybrid and said to him, Well Rex, it looks like we might not be alone anymore. I hope we aren't too late... He pulled the vehicle into drive and made for the mall, running over a few of the undead.

Tesmarin was aware of activity going on outside of the small clothing store she'd boarded herself up in. She could tell this activity was not strictly undead; there were living people outside. With a sigh she clutched at her nagging stomach, knowing she would have to leave the store eventually and find food. Still, she found herself reluctant. She had been safe here and was unsure about outside. Tess was struck with an idea as she grabbed her small radio. She turned it on and spoke into it. "Is anyone outside or in the mall that can hear this?" ((I was thinking maybe there could be more available places to go to and perhaps an OOC chat thing. Like, not making the places specific: Example- The Streets [Dilapidated roads, some empty, some filled with the undead. Along the streets are houses long left abandoned] or something. Just trying to lend my ideas lol))

Upon recieving no answer, Tesmarin swallowed a nervous lump forming in her throat and left the store she'd boarded up. There were a few stragglers limping around, but the main group seemed to be occupied with something. She'd been right, there were more people. Tess made her way around, clutching a bloodied steel pipe she'd found. At her hip was her pistol, but she was not stupid enough to use her gun and attract the horde. She seemed to be lost in thought for a moment, and just that short amount of time was enough for a particularly hideous undead to creep up on her. It gave a guttural moan before it lundged at her. Tesmarin heard the noise and turned just in time to avoid the zombie's bite, but it managed to tear her beige shirt a bit, exposing her hip. She slammed the pipe as hard as she could into it's skull and quickly took off running.

Lucius heard the voice on the radio, and he had responded quickly. This is Captain Wolf, I can hear you, where are you? he then saw a girl running and watched as a few of the undead went after her. Showtime... He drove right up to the undead, jumping out to make short work of the zombies with his blade. Look out! he yelled to the woman as another came up behind her.

Tess could hear her radio and the voice on it asking her position. However, running from the undead gives a person little time to respond. She heard the warning yelled out to her and armed herself with her metal pipe. She thought to herself that it didn't matter if she used her pistol, there was already a large amount of zombies currently occupied with trying to get a bite of her. She simply didn't have the opportunity to switch weapons. "Quite the timing." Tesmarin said as she turned and slammed the pipe into the skull of the zombie attempting to sneak up on her. Her attack hadn't been enough and the grotesque monster began to crawl after her. She mentally cursed her lack of brute strength. Tess tossed the pipe aside and grabbed her gun, kneeling down to the zombie's level and shooting it without a second thought. A few stragglers looked up and decided to join in on trying to get at her. "Well, nice to meet you and all that." She greeted, firing a few more rounds at the oncoming monsters.

Lucius pulled up his M4 to fire but the woman had already taken care of the problem. Likewise... he said in response to her greeting. As a few more came, he pulled up his rifle and started firing 3 round bursts aimed for each of their skulls. He watched as the woman shot the last one down. Nice shot. Now that we have some more time, Who are you, and what can you tell me about the situation in the area? Captain Lucius Wolf by the way. He extended his hand in greeting as his dog came out of the vehicle, barking. And this is my co-pilot, Rex.

Tess nodded in approval of the man's compliment. She lowered her pistol but kept it close at hand in case more undead came by. "Tesmarin is my name. The mall was pretty calm earlier, but there was gunfire and that riled them up." She reached out and grasped his hand, a bit pleased to be engaging in such a pleasantry. After she shook it as firmly as she could manage, she let go of Lucius's hand. Tess was a bit surprised by the sudden appearance of the dog, but kneeled slightly and extended her hand for it to smell. She knew that was what you were supposed to do when a approaching an animal you weren't familiar with. "You're the first actual person I've seen in a long time. I hate to be so to the point, but you wouldn't happen to have any spare food, would you?" Tess had been eating sparingly and it had taken a toll on her.

Lucius smiled at the mention of having any food. Lucky for you, I stopped by an abandoned armory a couple days ago, and snagged a few boxes of MRE's. No one else was using them... He reached in and opened one of the boxes, pulling a few MRE's out. take these, they may not be much, but they have a lot of what you need to survive. He sat down against the wall, opening one of his own while keeping a look out for any threats.

Tess chuckled a bit at his joke and took the offered MRE's, sitting a little ways away from Lucien and beginning to eat. She savored the food, finding that for the first time in a long time she had enough to appease her hunger. "Thank you." She said earnestly while wiping a few crumbs from her mouth. "What brings you here? Just traveling around?" Tesmarin didn't like being so out in the open, that much was obvious. She knew this place wasn't very safe, but for now there a bit of calm in the usually hellish sea of the undead and she intended to relax.

Lucius sighed as Tes asked about travelling. I've been looking for survivors for a few months with no luck.... It's been so lonely.... He looked at Rex and scratched the top of his head.

Tess summoned up a small smile, trying to be as friendly as possible despite her obvious lack of knowledge in such things. She patted her full stomach, grateful for the meal Lucius provided her with. "Thank you." She said, her smile becoming genuine and not forced. "I haven't seen anyone else in a long time. It's been just me and there was no one else that responded to my radio." Tesmarin tucked her hair behind her ears with a minor sigh. "I've been boarded up in a small store, getting by on what I had."

Tess began to feel a deep nagging feeling that she shouldn't be so out in the open. It was never safe and she had developed a sort of sixth sense about these things. "Did you hear something?" She asked quietly, swearing she'd heard something stumbling around nearby. Tesmarin gripped her pistol and kept her eyes open and searching. The source of her discomfrt lurched out from behind a corner. A single zombie, probably used to be a teenager. She decided not to shoot it and draw attention, but instead picked up the pipe she'd abandoned. She tapped the floor with it like a batter tapping the home plate before they swung. The noise caught the monster's attention and it came after her, limping as fast as it could. Tess swung hard and hit its temple. "Damn..." She muttered. Her hit hadn't killed it, but instead simply knocked it to the ground. Tesmarin raised her foot and stomped as hard as she could, crushing a weak spot in the skull. With a grimace, she wiped the gore from her foot on the ground.
