Why is this even a question? I mean sure Hinata is developing, and developing fast, Temari has though shown that when put against physical types, they just dont take her down unless they can move in on her.
She was almost Juunin level when she took the Chuunin exam (remember Kankurou discussing that she could of easily passed it in past years). She thinks tactically on a level comparable to Shikamaru (though not quite). And above all else, she is a master of avoiding hand to hand combat (which the Hyuuga depend on... also note, they are not excelled in taijitsu, but rather excel at an altered form of taijitsu which requires no physicality (why you dont see the older members of the family with excelled speed like Gai, Kakashi, Rock Lee, and so many others)).
This fight would be more lopsided then when Hinata fought with Neji. Nothing but a loosing cause.

E.S., Matsuno is right. Hinata, as much as I love her, would have her but handed to her on a silver platter.
I'm too lazy to constantly say 'like Matsuno said' (dang him for posting before me) so I'll just warn you now that I'm going to repeat a few things he said ._.
Hinata would hesitate in that "I don't like to hurt people" shy way she does, but Temari is fierce and would go all-out. Not only that, but when Shikamaru and Temari were fighting the Sound Nin, Temari destroyed a large area of the forest, killing the sound nin with one wave of her fan and Hinata with her close-range dependent Hyuga style of fighting would, not only not get close, but even if she did by some miracle I'm sure Temari, who is the daughter of the former Sand Hokage and sister to the current Sand Hokage would still be able to over power the unsure, hesitant leaf nin.

I agree with the other voters so far, Temari would win.
I love Hinata, shes awesome, but she just can't compete with temari as she depends on close combat fighting while Temari is expert at long-ranged attacks. Their personalities also help to determine the outcome, and in this form of competition I don't think Hinata stands a chance against strong-willed Temari.
And of course Hinata is still working on strengthening her techniques.

I agree with everyone. Temari would win because she is a long distance fighter and doesn't need to get near someone to beat them like Hinata does.

I like Hinata, but Temari-chan would definitely win. Close range combat is good, but long range keeps one from actually being hit. Thus, Temari wins it.

Wow, Shikamaru vs. Sakura. This is a hard one >.<;;
First, I'd like to rule out Sakura's medic-nin abilities. It takes time for her to heal, and in battle, Shikamaru wouldn't just sit back and let her heal her own wounds. Her medic-nin KNOWLEDGE, on the other hand, could help her make wiser attack-choices. As for her strength, as we saw in the Shikamaru vs. Temari battle in the Chuunin exams, his lack of strength hasn't hindered him. But then again, in the Shikamaru vs. Sound ninja battle, he was about to lose if not for Temari coming to save him.
But then again, there is Shikamaru's intelligence. That's a very important factor in battle, which has been proven in every single battle up to date. There was tNaruto and Sasuke vs. Zabuza, Shino vs. Kankuro, Sakura and Naruto practicing against Kakashi, Naruto vs. Neji, etc. etc. etc.
The only battles where intelligence didn't matter was when the strength of one ridiculously outweighed that of another, or when neither combatants had intelligence to use in a fight, like Gaara vs. Rock Lee, or Chouji vs. Sound nin.
Yes, Sakura is clever, but she isn't nearly as smart as Shikamaru is. She knows a lot, but that doesn't mean she can come up with a stragy in the midst of a battle, which is what's important right now.
Sakura is also freakishly powerful. She's strong to the point that she is easily the next Tsunade, but we don't know how much stronger Shikamaru has become in the time jump, and surely he must have grown somewhat. When you add that to his very handy shadow jutsu and his over 200 I.Q., I would have to say this:
It would be very, VERY close, but Shikamaru knows Sakura too well, and would easily have a strategy to defeat her.
Shikamaru wins.

No brainer, since were talking about an above aberage geneous against a hirl who may be very talented, but relies on her physicallity, not her battle instincs (we even see it in theSasori fight that she hasent matured as a fighter too much, even if her skills are at a new height). On the other hand, Shikamaru is all about the battle tactics. He understands the geography and hwo to use it within seconds, its eyond even what kakashi would be able to do. Because their styles are so opposed, unless Sakura has enough raw power to break Shikamaru's jutsu's, theres no chance. E.S. says: ... =/ If you at least pay attention to the rules, you would know what to write. The others already wrote the code in a pervious post... PLEASE read the RULES.

Pre-timeskip, Shikamaru would beat Sakura in a cakewalk, since Sakura has absolutely nothing that would throw someone as smart as Shikamaru for a loop. Post-timeskip, though, it would probably be decidedly closer, but outside of one move we haven't seen much of Shikamaru's progress and I think someone as smart as he is could probably outdo Sakura's brute force at the moment. EDIT: Also, you know. Tree... loving... monkey eating...? Dammit, one second, let me check my notes... I am a tree-eating-loving monkey. How do you eat a tree? E.S. says: Well... you can eat a tree by eating it's leaves! ;D

Shikamaru would win due his analysis skills. He's smart, astute, and knows what he's doing. Sakura pretty much just charges out there at will. She does not have a real thinking process. She reacts on instinct not analysis.
