Sage turned the chair around again, staring at the girl. She looked slightly annoyed but didnt say anything for another long pause of silence. "Sage." She stood up out of the chair, stooping down to grab her bow and quiver. Her stomach grumbled, Sage thinking back to the bakery shop she had been so rudely interrupted in. Strapping her bow around her chest and quiver on her back, Sage walked towards the door and stopped when she was next to Aislin, though facing opposite ways. "Do you know if there are any vending machines in this building?" She whispered, not really liking to talk so loud

Sage blinked, seeing another person as the girl that was talking to her ran off. She sighed again and took a step back, into the big office and closed the door quietly. Not really liking being around other people, Sage was going to put off her hunger until the two left and she could leave without being bothered. She walked back to the window and looked down it, the streets were so full of zombies you could barely see the road. Their wanderings were random though, they werent concentrated at any point which was good. As long as Sage could keep it quiet in this building she would be in no danger. Then her thoughts wondered to the two out in the hallway and wondered if they realized the same thing, any noise and they would be attacked. "Should I warn them?" Sage looked up at the ceiling slightly, then squinting as a small red stain on the ceiling was slowly spreading. It creeped along the white tiles, almost like a water stain. A drop of the red liquid fell from the spot and Sage caught it in her hand, lightly smelled it then her eyes grew wide. She looked up at the ceiling again then very quietly backed away towards the door and away from the window, fumbling with the door handle behind her. There was a loud creating sound above her head and Sage whimpered, opening the door and dashing out of it her heart racing.

((sumimasen, Gaia crashed so my page wasent loading, i started panicking and hit the submit button too many times xD))

Sage nodded quickly and followed them down the stairs, her bow strapped over her chest dagger out and gripped tightly in her hand. The creaking disappeared as they went to lower levels of the office building, but Sage's heart was still racing and her senses on high alert. Before they reached the bottom floor Sage stopped and opened the door down a hallway about midway down the building. Not wanting to be on the first floor of the building where zombies could easily get them, she opted out and decided to stay on a higher up floor where the stairs would slow the zombies down. The hallway outside the door Sage opened the lights were flickering and some were hanging down from the ceiling. Holding onto the hilt of her dagger until her knuckles turned white, Sage walked out into the hallway. Blood was smeared all over the wall and stained the thin carpets. A couple dead bodies were laying on the floor and Sage lightly nudged them with her foot to make sure they really were dead.

Sage nodded, thought the blood smears on the wall were concerning to her. "Vampire dont like to waste blood." She whispered, wondering at the blood every where. "They must be playing games, not hunting." Sage kept her voice down low, not to stay hidden but because she hadnt talked much to anyone else. She moved along the hallway, putting her dagger back against her hip and stringing her bow. The wood in my arrows should be the only thing useful right now, though i wouldnt do well close range. Moving among the dead bodies Sage made faces in disgust, the necks mutilated and ripped apart, its amazing the zombies didnt smell this and break the doors down.

((Just got back from jogging with my dad, god im a swimmer not a runner xP))

Sage didnt answer but continued moving forward, letting out a slight shriek when the door to the staircase slammed close behind them and the sound of rushing air filled the hallway, then died down. Her heart started to hammer in her chest as she imagined being pinned up against the wall as a blood sucker ravaged her neck, blood soaking into her clothes. The thought made Sage shiver and she drew her arrow back at the ready, senses alert and listening for any sound of a vampire near them. More creaking came from the floor above them, small red blood stains spreading on the ceiling again

((haha its not that id prefer to but its that my body can do it, i could swim for hours nonstop. I'm on my high school swim team and polo team, thats why))

The sound of creaking intensified as the ceiling caved in a few feet away from the people standing in the hallway, two vampires flying down and baring their fangs. The dust had barely settled when then ran forward with superhuman speed at the humans. Sage had let fly one of her arrows but the vampire moved to the side, the arrow only puncturing its shoulder. With a loud cackle the male vampire pulled the arrow out and threw it back at Sage, puncturing her in the gut. Sage doubled over and pulled out her dagger, trying to keep up self defense but wouldnt last much longer. Blood started to trickle out of the hole, Sage had only broken off half the shaft to block the hole from letting too much blood out. Lunging forward Sage slashed at the vampire's throat, only to end up slashing at air as the vampire had already jumped over her head so he was behind her

((jeez sorry for late reply, mom made me go to store for her. and hah i dont have morning practices before school *usually, sometimes for water polo though* but i do start swim practice two weeks or so before school starts, from 7-9 then i believe 12-2 every day till school starts. and jumping in the pool first thing in the morning feels really nice actually. and now i feel like making a male vampire character to play with -.-))

Sage fell to the floor and rolled around onto her back, letting out a snarl and threw her dagger with amazing precision at the back of the vampire woman's head. It stuck there, all the way up to the hilt and the tip of the blade slightly poking out of the woman's forehead. Though the metal may not completely kill the vampire, it will do much damage because it went straight through her head. The male vampire screamed in rage and threw Kade away, turning on Sage and his hand flashed out, scratching her across the chest. Sage screamed, four long scratch marks going over her chest and stomach, ripping her shirt and blood pouring out of the gouge marks, barely missing her already stabbed gut. "Get out of here!" She screamed at Kade, looking at Aislin as the female vampire was still frozen, her body becoming paralyzed, though keeping a very strong grip on the girl.

((That sucks, my school and one other has a pool in my district. And I am working on it now, i was gonna name him Keade but then realized thats your guys name xD and which picture should i use? one two three or four ))
